Had to wait a bit to get served on click and collect. The poor guy in front hadn't signed his bank card and was getting quite a dressing down by the women on the till. She wasn't very friendly when it came to me either. No chit chat and when I said I didn't want to take out a guarantee she slamed the product down and walked off. I didn't get her name but it said Manager on her badge. No hope for staff if the management arnt customer focused. 🙄

A bit of a shadow of it's former glory but it's still a great store nonetheless. It's nice to actually see an Argos shop and not a tiny stand inside a Sainsburys. They are usually quite well stocked and it's not usually a long wait. The staff are always polite and courteous and remain professional even even dealing with the odd difficult customer. The EE stand inside is a let down as they're usually sat down checking their socials....

Ok where to start, I love how Argos works u know what u want, u go in andd buy then leave its awesome, i had a horrible experience in Currys next door or as it used to be called PC World, they just pester you and cant answer the questions any way when its too technical, but the fact that Currys push the insurance so hard is infuriating. But back to Argos the only reason i dropped the star to not having 5 stars is the review process, I left a review and because it wasn't within their guidelines it wasn't admitted, so here i am ranting via Google. My experience with Argos has been brilliant and other than the review system i would fully suggest useing the shop to anyone and tell everyone to avoid the review system and opt for the google method.

We've been in here a few times to get household appliances such as carpet sweepers, clothes driers, battery chargers, and they always had what we needed in stock, which is pretty unusual these days. Customer service is helpful and friendly too.

Not as organised as other branches, normally when I do a click and collect order, the order has been picked, and I just have to wait a minute or so. This time one item was handed over with in a minute, I had to wait 4or 5 minutes to be brought down from upstairs. The order was placed the previous day and was collected 4 hours after the store opened. Not a case of them being caught of guard. There were at least four members of staff on duty, and it was not busy.

Been a handy place to collect eBay orders after work as it opens late as well as to buy their stock. Staff very helpful & friendly, they even let me park bike inside as easier for me with disabilities. Definitely pleased they opened here.

Had a brilliant experience in Colchester Tollgate. Unfortunately stuck behind some woman who had a returns issue and clearly didn't understand the returns policy. The girl behind the till was quite clear where she could get the information from and the woman wasnt having it.Quite stroppy I thought shame on her for not reading it. Any way I was served super fast no issues brilliant. Thanks so much

Popped into this shop recently after I had ordered a sofa to collect, staff were helpful when it came to giving me advice on what I should do to cancel an order/delivery as I had previously ordered a sofa that was much too big for my flat. The queue was quick, staff were friendly and overall a very pleasant atmosphere.

Not a fan of shopping any more, no real interaction with people or products. Visited store after work to change a faulty Ring doorbell. Victoria served us was witty, helpful and efficient. Made the whole experience much better and brighter for us a real asset to Argos

Easy, quick, cheaper than competitor across the road. After having a bad time in Curry's, went to Argos for the same TVs. Cheaper, in stock (unlike Currys) much better service, good social distancing, much better price. In and out in 5 minutes. Rock on Argos!

Visited this branch a couple of weeks ago so me and my partner could buy Apple Watches, the young blond girl who served us was more than helpful and having got the watch herself she was able to give great advice and demo. Bless her she even let me try hers on so I could see how it fit (not sure I would be willing to do the same thing for a customer) this is above and beyond considering they don't get rewards for this type of thing. All staff seemed happy, clearly know a thing or two about customer service.

Staff are always on hand. Friendly. And calm under pressure. I have visited at both quite and very busy times and never had a problem. Most staff seem to be under 25 but are still fully capable. Work together as a team and know the full skill ranges needed for job roles.

Argos highly recommend. Argos returns policy is really good, even if the goods are not faulty Argos will exchange or refund the goods. Argos now also sell Sainsbury's TU clothing range. The range of products is humongous. Top notch online or use the catalogue

Veryyyyyyy slow service. Saw my order come down but then waited 8 minutes for then to hand it to me. Lots of behind the scenes staff talking. Need to up the game. Christmas is coming. This second time this has happened in a week. Not impressed.
