This Dunelm is very large and offers free click and collect service and also has a cafe towards the rear of the store. I had found the click and collect service incredibly fast and even though it says available after 3 hours I've previously had it ready after 30 minutes!! Everyone needs to use this service as it's so easy

Nice place to shop plenty of variety and bargains, I found everything I was looking for and a couple of things I wasn't!!! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great place to shop if you're setting up home or buying gifts.

If you are visiting a Dunelm store you probably know what it sells. This store is decent. Good size car park and big inside. The staff seem helpful and there are plenty about in store and on tills. Not sure if they are all the same. but inside seems a bit cramped with very little isle space or room to get past people as you walk round. Apart from that it’s a very good Dunelm store.

Your all in one place for household furnishings and related stuffs. Plenty to choose from, good quality and reasonable prices. Online or in store...never had a problem shopping or returning items. Best in its class IMO!

Very large Dunelm on the outskirts of Derby centre. If you want to walk from the centre it's a good 30min walk. Sells loads of household goods from soft furnishings to pots and pans at reasonable prices. There is a cafe on site and a toilet which is a bonus when browsing. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Large free carpark but just off a busy island leading from the Derby Ipro football stadium that can be tricky when matches are on

Good shopping experience but can be better with bit more room to move around. I mean, the space to move between the aisle are very narrow, you can see products everywhere. Staffs are very polite, helpful and informative. Bit pricey but availablity is pretty good with quality items. Also, struggle a bit to find some items over all as signs arent very clear on top of every aisle. It's easy to get distracted and confused, due to lots of items on the floor everywhere, you keep forgetting why you went there for ?

The store was clean and tidy and aisles were well signed so it was ready to find out way around and the departments we wanted. Not the cheapest place to shop but not over the top. Several items we looked at had missing price tickets which doesn't help. Once we reached the tills we had a few minutes to wait to be served and the cashier made no attempt to be friendly or pleasant, appearing to be bored and uninterested, scanning the items without a word.

A good example of a Dunelm store. Free parking up to 3 hours. A little tricky to get to but that's due to Derby being a large collection of randomly placed roads. Prices range from cheap and cheerful to expensive. A good selection of items. There website is also easy to use if they don't happen to stock the item you want at this location. Helpful staff who directed us to exactly where the items that we needed were and then helpfully left us to it after explaining what we needed to check. No awkward hovering. Doesn't take American express oddly but other than that no real complaints.

Visited this morning and even though we arrived before the store was open, Kev gave us a friendly welcome at the door, saying that we could go in to look round until the tills were open. This was really helpful as otherwise, we'd have driven home and probably not returned. We ended up having a coffee which was nice and a good look round, spending far more than we intended! The staff who served us at the till (Isatou?) was really friendly too so altogether, our Dunelm experience was great.

The items were brought up to the car and left, safely, for me to load. Whole thing took 5 minutes at most. Very safe and easy.

It was very difficult we had £200 in vouchers, couldn't spend online nor order in store. So the manager was very nice he gave up £200 unto my account then purchased items online in store. Never get vouchers again to us.

Purchased a bed for home delivery on Monday 12th Oct. Bed arrived only few days later on Thursday 15th Oct which was fab as was told it could be 4-6 weeks. Kept well informed with texts, was given a delivery slot and got a call an hour before it arrived. Very pleased with bed and the excellent service 👍

Food was nice, staff was nice enough. But the way the food orders are done really let it down. So you go up and order when your ready, there was 3 people in front of me and I was stood 20 minutes waiting! When it's your turn the girl does the whole order for the person in front of you, including toast or whatever (The bigger food orders go out the back) but she was doing it all on her own. And without sounding horrible, a snail would have had more speed about it. I dont know if she was new, just had no motivation as she had no support or whatever, but it was painful. I had a baby and a 6 yr old with me, luckily my sister was on the next table and watched my kids whilst I stood and waited for 20 minutes or I would have given up. I feel if it's due to covid the young girl doing it all by herself, you need someone faster. Also maybe get the host to take you upto the counter when the girls ready, rather than you having to painfully wait. Alot of the customers are people like me with young kids or elderly. But the food is cheap and lovely.

Dunelm has an extensive range of home products at varying price ranges. Items are always good quality whether you choose the higher or more reasonably priced range. The store layout is easy to follow, and always tidy. Always a good experience.

Decent selection. Large variety and selection of products of good quality. Can order online for collection to save you the hassle of turning up and your product being sold out. Layout is good and there is a lot of range in homeware including, bedding, kitchen utensils, basic / lightweight furniture, lamps etc. Staff were polite enough but incredibly slow and inexperienced meaning tills can have long queues and take a long time if you are in a rush

Areas by the tills quite cluttered so on a busy day I can guess that it'll be hard to navigate to the exit especially with a Pushchair/wheelchair. Has a canteen too for those that require a quick bite or a short break, but I've never used it. It's more expensive than it's competitors and I don't always feel there is much difference in quality. Has it's own large car park.

Usually love this place but today found it so frustrating. Went looking for pencil pleat curtains. They hardly stock any and was advised to look online! I then thought I would adapt the eyelet curtains but they had run out of the pencil curtain header! Ggrrrr! Come on Dunelm you can do better than this!!

I absolutely LOVE the selection that Dunelm have. But and this is a BIG But, it is extremely expensive for the average shopper.. and most of the items that you probably want you can't get because of those prices 🤔😒 (in my experience anyway)

Good stock, friendly staff and reasonable prices but sale on boxing day very opaque. I counted seven red sale banner attachments on two stockshelf sections but with no specific explanation that the sale was not 30% off every item on the sale shelf only on the items with red sale stickers that accounted for three lone items out of about 50 products. It is only on arriving at the checkout that this is explained. Sharp sales tactic? or Lazy pricing? Nevertheless I made no purchase so they will have decide whether this may alienate a would be happy customer. Update 9/12/18 20 people in queue 3 tills two doing refunds other staff ducking and diving. One "sorting cushions". Priority management poor on this visit. Chain of command seems missing.

Great and wide variety of different products. Very clean place and very generous as well as helpful staff that ask you if you need any help. Although the prices aren't expensive, they aren't necessarily cheap as well. Very good and functional products. There is also a café in the shop in case you're thirsty or got exhausted from looking around this ginormous store. I recommend this shop to you.

5-11-2018 Just been to the Derby store they hadn't got what i wanted in store, i asked a lovely gentle man if i could reserve an item i couldn't it at to be a home delivery, so he did it all for me there and then. Thank you to this lovely man. I'm from Burton on Trent i went in our store they hadn't got the item i wanted neither, i asked an assistant she just wasn't interested she said if we haven't got it in store you have to go on line. Thank you again Derby store for being really helpful.

Many products are quite expensive for what you get. There is a lot of choice and unless you're buying online, there isn't much competition in the area. The shop is well staffed and even when it's busy, you won't have to wait long to check-out. I'd recommend using the store for some products but would recommend buying online where possible (due to large price differences).

Dunelms cafe... We love the bacon baps and lattes here. Always soft warm baps, plenty of bacon and the lattes are hot with the bonus of a lotus biscuit, which I think is a really great touch when any cafe adds one to the side of a coffee. Great consistency in food and friendly, helpful staff as we eat here often enough to know!

The store is quite big and it doesn't help when there's only a handful of staff working. It took me around 10-15 min to find a staff member and then another 10 min when I tried finding one again. Maybe I was there around an hour before closing time so there was less staff on but nonetheless there should've been more staff around.
