If you're visiting Doncaster, your trip would be incomplete without a look round Hughes'd. Allow me to explain......
There aren't many perfect shops in Yorkshire, let alone Doncaster, but Hughes'd is incredibly close to perfection. Even if you're not an avid collector of antiques or curiosities, I would confidently say there is something for everyone. And new stock appears on at least a weekly basis. Whether you're treating yourself, buying a gift or even just browsing, I guarantee there'll be something in the shop that will peak your interest and put a smile on your face..... It may even be (Chris) the genial shopkeepers friendly advice, conversation or banter. All items are very reasonably priced but when something catches your eye my advice would be to ask about the item and make an offer.
My only constructive comments would be that my wife thinks Hughes'd should have cups of tea available to customers and I think you deserve a larger shop perhaps with more furniture and some parking. I do hope you take this feedback onboard, then Hughes'd will be just perfect.

Absolutely love this shop, you can spend hours in there just browsing the unusual objects whilst being pleasantly mocked by the owner, wouldn't have it any other way. Goods are reasonably priced and stock constantly changing. A little gem in Doncaster.

Amazing little shop, absolutely love this place.
Loads of collectables and obscurities, I can spend hours in here whether looking around or putting the world to rights with the owner Chris. A real jem, one to not miss out on if you are nearby.
Five stars are not enough.
Treat yourself and as Chris says "shop local!"

Called in as we were passing through having seen his Facebook page and was not disappointed. Proper antiques, not tat, sensibly priced and well worth a visit if you're in the vicinity.
