A decent range of products although I didn't think the clothes were good quality. The only reason this place loses 2 stars is because they only had 2 poor staff members serving. There should never be long queues on a quiet day.

Great staff, what you'd expect from an Asda. Does anybody know why in the cafe you can't use/ collect Asda points. You may want to swap the Costa coffee out for something a little more tastier and less milk content.

Enjoy this store very much - plenty of goods for home (kitchen, bath, electronics, appliances, small sections of medicines, basic cosmetics, toys, children care, stationary) for reasonable prices. Should emphasize to sections. First one is basic appliances for very low prices (toasters, cattles, irons etc). The second is clothes: the whole floor is with basic diverse clothes and footwear (mostly of average quality, but for prices lower than in many other shops in Arnison Center). The network has discount system (via App). But it should mentioned that not all propositions are available (for instance,no food section, except sweets and newborn nutrition). Sometimes items from online shop are not present on shelves. The stuff on counters are very polite,but inside there are hard to find (if you are lucky to find them they are friendly, but I faced that mostly unable to help to find necessary items).

Come here often with my baby and visit the cafe. Supposed to be free baby food with every meal purchased however last 3 times in a row I have been there's no free baby food in stock. Staff on tills are not too friendly and also could do with more staff on them as there's always a queue.

Well stocked store, quite busy, went for particular item and managed to purchase along with other things which needed and asda happened to have on offer. A great selection of garden, kitchen and household items. The largest range of candles and candle holders I've seen in a long time. Upstairs packed out with clothes for all at decent prices. Well worth a visit.

A great balance between home goods and clothing. Nice section of books and video games on the lower of the store, along with some nice homely goods too. Not a huge selection of clothing on the top floor, but there's a cafe here and also a toilet to use.

Not good unfortunately, when buying a game you can not now get the disc and pay at the desk near the games at the back of the store, you have to go to the front of store checkout, only for the check out assistant to have to leave her till and walk to the back of the store to get the disc then return back to the front to complete the sale.

All the best non food items of an asda store. The place is huge and well stocked. It has brilliant disabled access and the staff will go the extra mile to give you a hand if you struggle. There is an escalator to the second floor but stairs down. There is a lift in the back of the store. The toilets here are spacious and well kept. They also have a cafe. Great place to shop with your kids.

One of my pet hates for this store is I don't find the staff very customer oriented also it might just be me but I never seam to find my size when finding something nice. So I usually additionally have to order click and collect.

Good choice of clothes upstairs from infants to adults. Also shoes and accessories. There is a small cafe where you can get good selection of coffees and teas plus sandwiches and cakes. Downstairs is a large selection items for the home from towels bedding cutlery and ornaments to white goods tvs and technology. Parking outside.

I visited the store to buy clothing, I went into lift got what I needed, went back to lift it was broke. I forgot to say I was on my mobility scooter so I was stranded. The staff were amazing they kept me company until my husband arrived. But still no lift, my husband helped me downstairs. Two members of staff carried my scooter down a lot of stairs, now it was not a boot scoot it was a heavy duty scooter. I was offered drinks the staff could not do enough to help me. Debi

Fantastic homewares store with everything from bedding /curtains to outdoor furniture and electrical items. There's a café upstairs too. The only issue with this store is the same with the other shops on this end of the estate: car parking nearby is a nightmare on anything but the quietest of days. Otherwise a great place to visit, with plenty of other shops and restaurants nearby too

Staff are always friendly and helpful. Everything is reasonably priced and brilliant quality. There are men's, woman's and children's clothes, pajamas, underwear and swimwear. There's also a home section that sells some furniture, but mostly home appliances such as kettles and microwaves. Also sells pillows, cushions, bed sheets, and other home accessories. There's an entertainment section at the back right of the shop, and they sell PS4 and XBOX one games. They also sell CDs and DVDs.

Often frequent this Asda Living store even if just for a look around and a coffee. However I have picked up many items, very reasonably priced such as clothes, homeware, books and toys. This Asda does not sell groceries like other Asda supermarkets. Downstairs there is usually a 'seasonal' display as you go in on the left for Easter, Halloween, Christmas, Back to School or whatever promotions they are holding, like they often do Baby and Toddler events. They have candles, ornaments, picture frames as you carry on round. Then housewares such as bedding, curtains, cushions, lighting... Then onto bathrooms and kitchens selling towels and bathmats, cutlery and dining sets... And everything in between! Great for finding that kitchen gadget you've always wanted to find! They then go on to kettles, Irons, hoovers, fryers, soup makers, blenders etc... Moving round there is a lift at the back of the shop which takes you upstairs to a large clothing area for women, men and children. Upstairs there is also a small cafe and toilets. Next to the lift there are TVs, mobile phones etc, leading round to an entertainment section of dvds, computer games and consoles then onto stationary, cards and books. Further round is toys to your right, baby and toddler section to your left... Lastly some beauty and health products to your right. Magazines and sweets leading up to the tills. Back round at the front of the shop there is an escalator up to the clothing department and a set of stairs (Think I covered everything! 😂) They floor and till staff and also the cafe staff are all friendly and helpful. Possibly the best latte I have ever tasted too! There are trolleys to the front of the shop which need £1 coins to release them and also the wheeled/long handle baskets just inside the door. Asda is a very good reasonably priced store, with alot of bargains to be had compared to other stores. I love the clothing department with lots of essentials and on trend items. It is a good placed store also, in the Arnison Centre with many other shops around it. Please be aware though that the car park has cameras logging times of entry and departure, taking pictures of every vehicle. There is a 4 hour time limit on the car park and even if you run over by 10 minutes (which I did) it will end up as a very expensive shopping trip with an £80 parking fine! I totally disagree with the time limit as you could literally spend a whole day here, however this was put in place to stop nearby office workers from taking up all the car parking spaces, as the centre does get quite busy at times. Overall I highly recommend Asda Living!

Only downfall about asda living in Durham. Is it doesn't sell food. As I live near by n have a motorcycle. Im pretty much forced to shop at Sainsbury. Or I have to travel to stanle, Where they have a so called no motorcycle helmet policy, but dont display any thing on th entrance doors. Meanwhile back at asda living they also have no notices on their doors either. But I never get harassed n told its asdas policy that no motorcycle helmets are to be worn. So how come one asda has a policy n the other doesn't.. maybe they should display some kind of notice on the doors to let people know. Also there is no notices about burqa,s or head scalfs or hoodies. None of. These items are for religious reasons. Women are actually oppressed, or wear it out of choice. As they are not mentioned in their holy book.
