Phoned on Tuesday appointment given for Wednesday between 2pm and 6pm.Received a reassuring phone call at 5.30 pm to let us know that we would still be seen that evening. Although obviously running a bit behind the Engineer was friendly and informative. He thoroughly checked out the socket and cooker before making the repair. Good old fashioned service at a reasonable price

Never caught the chaps name that visited me today. But just wanted to give credit where credit is due. He called 30 minutes out and arrived on time. Very polite and knowledgeable. He worked alone and removed and installed my new tumble dryer with ease, and then fully explained everything. High praise indeed, an excellent and very professional service.

I called Domestic Electrics when the door seal broke on my washing machine. I received great service from the first call. Domestic Electrics ordered the part an had it fitted quickly within a few days. The engineer that visited our house was very friendly, knowledgeable and fixed the washing machine with no mess. The Engineer observed the highest Covid 19 precautions from the minute he came into our home until he left. Many thanks to Domestic Electrics. I used the services of this company a year or so ago when my washing machine broke down, they were excellent. I didn’t hesitate to contact them when my dishwasher broke down a week or so ago. I had a visit from the Engineers and they knew straight away that it was the pump that it was fault. Their office tried to order me the pump for my Kenwood machine but model now obsolete (7 years old). I asked if they could give me a price for a new machine to include fitting and it was very good. My new Hotpoint fitted today. Love it. I was given the installation appt. at least the time of ordering the machine and it was bang on. Don’t you just love a company that are efficient, competively priced and courteous ... a treat really.

I am so impressed. John came this morning to replace the element in my oven. This is the kind of service one cannot fault. 1. He called a while before to say he was on his way and gave an accurate time of arrival. 2. Very professional and pleasant yet allowed me to ask questions that concerned me. 3. He talked me through information I did not know - which can save the life of the element, why I could not set the clock on the cooker, etc (no book when we moved in with brand new oven.) Gave honest / not salesman advice that would just want business that would not be necessary. 4. Made me know I am not just another number with a job to be done, but he was there to give the best service he could. So a special and big than you John - you are a good advert for the face of your business and I shall also give feedback to our landlords. This is the type of service that should be spread around - why? we have experienced top class service.

Excellent service from the team at Domestic Electrics, especially Ian. My wife works in A&E with Covid patients and has to boil wash her uniform every night. Washing machine breaks down and after some checking it turns out it needs new brushes. Everyone was talking days for delivery. I phoned Domestic Electrics they said to send a picture of the brushes and they would see if they had them and they did. Not only did they have them but took a payment and even got them dropped off (Socially distant of course) this morning. I fitted them this morning and all back working again. well done guys. amazing service.

They did the best they could for me. Went the extra mile really. The cooker hood motor they had supplied using the numbers I quoted from my old one was not the right motor so I took them the actual old motor. David, bless him, stripped down a whole new good assembly to get me a motor that matched. It is fitted and working but, being a more powerful motor than the old one, I have not a big enough capacitor to start it running unless I start it on maximum speed. Nuisance.

Can’t rate this company highly enough! After disaster struck and my fridge freezer started to leak gas on fair Friday this was the only company who 1 answered the phone and 2 could put my mind at ease and give me advise on what I needed! No hard sell just help and advise. New appliance delivered and old one removed! Installation engineer was excellent and spent time making sure the integrated fridge freezer was fitted correctly! Will definitely use this company for any future repairs or replacements required! Thanks again

Just had an engineer out for my dishwasher and am really pleased with the service provided. Engineer was so helpful and friendly. Thought main pump needed replaced (would have been cheaper to buy new machine) but engineer said he wanted to check for a blockage first and he was right - gunge had blocked up pipes coming from machine! Could have so easily been ripped off but instead engineer cleared blockage & was only charge for callout. Would definately recommend company and will use again.

Our dishwasher had packed in - no water coming into it and not a clue how to fix. Called and arranged a call out and they made clear what the call out charge was at the outset. The guys arrived, on time, took a look at the machine, figured out what the problem was then explained what had happened. A pipe underneath had come loose which they reattached. They then tested the machine to make sure it was working. In and out in under 30 minutes and the only cost was the for the callout. Would definitely use in future and recommend them.

I thought I needed a spare part but actually needed a new machine. These guys were brilliant. They came out and fitted the new part but machine was still leaking. I ordered a new machine from them and it was delivered and fitted (old machine taken away) very quickly and they didn't charge for the spare part for old machine. First class, friendly service and they kept me up-to-date with what was happening re times etc. Highly recommend :)

Called Domestic Electrics this morning about broken fridge freezer. I had opened the back cover before I telephoned and could see the circuit board was burnt out. They checked for me to see if the part was still available and it's not so I saved the call out fee. Will contact them again next time something else breaks down. I went to Domestic Electrics to buy an oven element yesterday. After saying that I was unsure that the element was the fault the boss tested it and suggested that I buy a thermostat instead, even threw in some good information. Cooker sorted £18.....no problem. 🌟. …
