My go to if I ever need anything. All the staff I have seen there have been super friendly and really helpful. I cannot fault any of the staff I have seen, all apart from one. The younger guy that has been there is unhelpful and rude. He was more interested in sitting on his phone behind the counter, didn’t actually help when I asked a question about something, just showed me where is was then said “I’ll leave you here to look” and returned to sitting on his phone behind the counter. I left without getting anything and he didn’t even look up from his phone. my partner went in not longer after me to try and find what I needed. No one was on shop floor so he left.

I use these guys to cut wood panels which I use as an art painting surface. They are always friendly, quick and efficient, and the cut is always correct to the millimeter. If you want cut wood, I would highly recommend above all other suppliers (particularly B&Q, where you'd need to buy a whole sheet regardless of the amount needed!).

Handy shop to pop in for DIY bits but £6 for a couple of 50cm lengths of 2cm X 1cm? I was shocked!

A well stocked DIY store with very helpful staff. I like that you can buy nuts, bolts, screws in the quantity required unlike some suppliers with pre-packed quantities. I bought masonry paint etc. They cut wood to size as well. Nothing is too much trouble.

Popped in for some advice last week. The woman who was working was really helpful. We always use this shop for gardening and household things as it's within walking distance, and of course, helpful staff.

This is a great place, great staff, you can get all sorts of hardware here, we needed a bit of plywood cut to a certain size, not a problem! It's nice to find somewhere that will sell you a few small screw hooks without having to buy 100+, will definitely be back!

Quality of products and Friendly, Helpful staff, as it has been over the years. Useful to know they have a Key Cutting Service (noticed the machines and blank keys when they were out the back cutting my timber).

It has most DIY items all in one shop. They cut timber to size. Sell timber off cuts. Its a bit like the old school hardware shop where you can buy individual items as well as larger quantities.

Going into the shop was excellent service but disappointing delivery service which I had paid for. Ordered fence panels and posts to on a Tuesday and they said could deliver on the Friday at 3pm but they phoned at 12 on the Friday to say panels were not in. Very disappointed. Telephoned to make sure they were delivering the following Friday and changed the time to 2pm. Delivery didnt arrive until 4pm. I telephoned the store to see where my delivery was at 2.30pm and the guy was not very helpful on tbe phone. Not impressed and would think twice to use them again.

Needed help restoring window sills and these guys were superb - supplied a dowelling kit and oak replacement sills cut to exact size and with the chamfered edge and gave instruction in exactly what to do - result looks superb- thank you Millington & Ramstedt!
