Amazing old style "emporium" if you want stuff you remember from childhood, this is the place. Vast range of useful things!

Boyes down whitefriargate in the old part of Hull in the past this was a woolworths shop but closed down when shopping habits changed, but boyes made a good move as there wasn't anything in that part of Hull, it's well kept and shelves always full and of course in todays situation sanertazing machines in several parts of the shop the staff are very helpful and friendly it's well worth a visit

Went all over hull trying to get a hand held battery operated whisk it was like looking for rocking horse s###, thought I'd have a look in Boyes and I couldn't believe it when I found what I was looking for and much more there's loads of great stuff in there so whether you are looking for kitchen appliances, decorating materials, car polish or cough drops you can get it all in here plus the staff are friendly and chatty, have also got a good range of sweets so next time i need something im coming in here first if I'd done this yesterday i could have save myself a couple of hours and saved money on some of the things I'd already brought so give this store a try first.

(Translated) TOP..! Whenever I'm in Hull and before I take the P&O ferry back to Rotterdam .. I visit this extensive little department store .. Sometimes I buy a fancy cup or cleaning agent for the car for waterless paint cleaning or tire paint ... I always find interesting things..😎👍 Sometimes I also buy T-shirts for £ 7 .. Browsing here is just fun .. and you should have enough time, because the parking meters are rare, far away and relentless .. and eat away the coins ..😭 Fortunately, you can also pay for your purchases with a credit card. The department store does not attach great importance to the appearance and was probably set up in the 70 / 80s .. NO MATTER .. See you next time👍🇩🇪👍 (Berlin, 66, motorcycle) (Original) TOP..! Wann immer ich in Hull bin und bevor ich mit der P&O Fähre zurück nach Rotterdam fahre.. besuche ich dieses umfangreiche kleine Kaufhaus.. Mal kaufe ich eine ausgefallene Tasse oder Reinigungsmittel fürs Auto zum wasserlosen Lackreinigen oder Reifenfarbe... ich finde immer interessante Dinge..😎👍 Manchmal kaufe ich auch T-Shirts für 7 Pfund.. Stöbern mach hier einfach Spaß.. und man sollte genug Zeit haben, denn die Parkuhren sind rar, weit weg und unerbittlich.. und fressen die Münzen weg..😭 Zum Glück kann man auch mit Kreditkarte die Einkäufe bezahlen. Das Kaufhaus legt nicht soviel Wert auf das Aussehen und wurde vermutlich in den 70/80er Jahren eingerichtet.. EGAL.. Bis zum nächsten Mal👍🇩🇪👍 (Berlin, 66, Motorrad)
