L. H.Can't relate highly enough. Our oven had tripped and given my partner a shock. A lovely chap spent a good 40mins fixing it. He even used a bracket he had spare instead of ordering one in (in his words, would take weeks!) and didn't charge me any extra. He also checked the earth, which was unrelated to my original issue and found it wasn't fully connected, which is why we had a shock. He was very thorough and very professional. Would definitely use again, fingers crossed I don't have to! 🤞

The lady who answered the call took details of the make/model and was able to give me advice over the telephone about what to do therefore saving me both the cost of an engineer and potentially a new machine. Whilst an engineer didn't come out their customer service alone would have me return should I ever find myself needing an appliance repaired. Fantastic. Such a friendly, helpful lady on the telephone who is clearly very experienced in what she does.

K. C.When my fridge freezer had a problem, amongst others, I called Carey’s. Lawrence talked me through the issue and that it wasn’t worth a repair so he wouldn’t come and see it as he didn’t want to incur me a call out charge. When my oven had an issue, because of my experience with them before, I again called Carey’s who sorted the issue. Response times are quick, customer service is excellent and most importantly costs are very reasonable. I encountered many national companies during my initial enquiries, all were extortionately prices and involved a wait for an appointment. Carey’s will now always be my first port of call for any appliance related problem.

J. D.Called as had the fan oven on my dual fuel range cooker wasn’t heating up at all. The lady who answered the phone was very polite and helpful, gave me costings for best and worst case scenarios over the phone. Had a prompt call back to book the appointment when the parts arrived. Engineer was also polite and friendly and completed the job very quickly. Had difficulty finding someone in the area who would work on dual fuel, glad I stumbled across Carey’s!!
P. W.Fitted us in at short notice, managed to drain washing and free the trapped washing. No mess anywhere. Tested the appliance to ensure all OK. Will return if problem reoccurs. But no need, it is working well. So far.

W.I contacted Carey's as I had a fault with my washing machine, and even though they were running on fewer staff during Covid 19, Lawrence got back to me straight away and gave me instructions on how to reset the machine. Unfortunately it transpired that the issue was more serious than a reset on this occasion, and I was given estimates for the various possible scenarios. In my particular case a repair wasn't really viable given the age of my machine, but I can't praise them enough for their knowledge, honesty and friendliness. I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again should the need arise.
T. B.3 gas gobs were not staying on after they were initially lit and the knob then released.
Quality workmanship was carried out to make necessary adjustment at a very fair price.

L. M.This company are fantastic! Having waited 4 months for another local company to complete the job...grr! I contacted Carey's they came out, diagnosed the job and completed it all in 8 days! Both chaps were incredibly informative, chatty and very polite! I cannot recommend them enough!
S. Q.Phoned them on a Tuesday and explained the problem with our Candy Washing Machine, they told me a part was needed and they had to order this. I received a phone call on the Thursday to say the part was in and they could come out Friday to fix it. Arrived on Friday, fixed all done within 15 minutes, very polite and helpful. Will use them again without doubt.

I. R.I phoned about a problem with my washing machine and my freezer. I explained the issues and I was told how to solve these issues over the phone in a simple way "that's saved you a call out charge!" he said!
It's great to have a company out there who are professional enough to know when a problem is a problem or when it is a simple fix. Others may have just arranged a time to take a look and taken my money. I'll definitely call them if I have any issues in the future!
T. S.I would definitely recommend, fast service, so helpful and much cheaper than the fixed fee companies out there. If you are just outside their coverage area, phone and check - I did because we are just outside it and I'm glad I did.
