Exceptional service in men's suite dept, very knowledgeable Sam was on the ball, knew my sizes at a glance and had a good eye for matching items (and reading my partners expressions). Walked in their without a clue of what we needed or even wanted and came out with great wedding gear and measure of understanding. Jacket will be custom fitted for no extra cost. Couldn't ask for more.

I needed a suit for a wedding and the service was great, they give good advice and the alteration service is great value. The ample parking also is worth its weight in gold as you can be in and out with no bother. Worth going for the personal service and care that is inherent in such a business.

Outstanding shop (literally, it really stands out from all the others in the area) with expert customer service. We often visit for school uniform purchases, but they also stock a wide range of specialist clothes (big&tall, sporting, formal and more) and specialist equipment (sporting, outdoors, hobbies, haberdashery) as you'd expect from a department store. They are not over-priced and often have enticing deals. But the main advantage is the pleasant, unhurried expert service you receive that makes shopping a pleasure.

May not be the cheapest clothing store in town but, it has an excellent service that I find second to none. And service is what they do. Staff have always been polite and curtious. A good selection of stock is generally available at most times. Obviously there will be the odd time that a certain size /colour is unavailable. But that is the way of the currant world we live in. Suits and some evening wear can be hired as well for a charge. Much cheaper than buying for the night.

Outstanding as always! Friendly welcoming service, and a pleasure to be back in this wonderful store. The highest standard of covid guidelines were adhered to throughout the store and by the staff who were all wearing masks. It was a comfortable, safe and relaxing experience to be in the store. I was able to get my foot-balance insoles personally moulded safely in the running department by the knowledgeable staff and I Was even able to enjoy a lovely coffee from the local artisan roasted Coffee seller (The Coffee Mod) who had been invited to have his van in the car park today. Stuart, staff member in sports trainers department, was extremely experienced and helped my daughter with road running trainers, her first time buying some proper running gear. He did her gait analysis and advised her on several trainers for choice. He helped me with my renewing of my brooks. A very knowledgeable employee. Not rushed at all. It was very clear that he was highly experienced in what he was doing and he made me feel very comfortable. I picked a suit off the rack and the alterations were free. One of my favourite department stores. In terms of service, it’s like going back to the good old days. You enter the shop and pretty much have your own personal shopper straight away. Range and quality of the clothes is excellent. Usually high end brand names and quality products, but not at a price that is completely unaffordable. Men's and ladies wear, sportswear & shoes available. Service is unbelievably polite, friendly and helpful. The staff really know how clothes should fit. Suit prices £150 - £600 with free alterations so you can purchase something that is made to fit you. Loyalty scheme available for money off vouchers issued during the year depending on how much you are spending. This shop is nothing like a high street chain but more like a store sized boutique were it's all about the customer. Also free customer parking right behind the store. I can't recommend this shop enough.

Iv'e been shopping here for about 56 years, when I started, a rep called Mr Pike used to come to the door when we lived in Eye, so he covered a lot of ground. In all that time, standards have never slipped. They're not the cheapest by any means, but if what you want is good value, style and dependability it works out cheap in the long run. It's not just clothes they sell, but everything from top quality canvas and leather holdalls to cufflinks and hip flasks, Shooting sticks, top range Wellingtons, in fact just about everything that's essential for Point to Point, less the Gordon's Gin. See their range of Silk ties. Just come and have a look, you'll be amazed at the range of goods. There's also a dedicated Sports department, a shoe dept and a Ladie's clothing dept. Out back you'll find a free (of course) attended car park. Reccomended.

Coes is marvellous. From the moment you step into its hallowed precincts, you feel that you have travelled slightly back in time, in the best possible way. The customer is not only always right, but welcomed, deferred to (in a non patronising way) and made to feel that they are the most important person in the shop. For the rookie parent, efficient and friendly staff are on hand to guide you through the maze of embroidered jumpers, the right socks and football boots and so on. It is an absolute pleasure shopping there and their online service is just as good. Don't bother going anywhere else if you want the very best. Coes offer it in spades.
