Reviews of The Range
K. P.
Fabulous bacon roll and cuppa in the cafe there while waiting for the tills to open at 10.30am....Went for a crank and adjust garden parasol - many to choose from. Different sizes/prices and got just what I wanted. Had been to B&Q the day before and they only had one style at twice the price. Well done The Range!!
S. V.
Had a great range of the latest home decoration and ornaments.
Also a pet area ,garden area . Even Iceland inside for your freezer shopping .
We had a nice walk around, not pressured, or packed out. Good place to look for near anything you need for the house and garden
D. M.
Got what we wanted, bedroom furniture. A decent price, not bad quality. However whilst struggling with heavy loads, which the staff could see, nobody offered assistance to the till or to my car. They were aware I had to negotiate the escalator and despite that clearly being a health and safety risk to a customer nobody offered to help. I was also ignored by a member of staff when I mentioned carrying a heavy load to my car and needing to return for a second heavy load.
D. P.
The store didn't have the plant hanging wall brackets I was looking for but it does hold a wealth of stock of many products. Household cleaners, food products, pet products including toys and bedding, lots of gift ideas, things for the home, curtains, bedding, Christmas stuff, garden centre and hand tools. It's worth a visit.
K. H.
Wheelchairs available if you can't manage to walk far which is handy as the store is HUGE!! And has a garden centre. Upstairs is accessed by lift or escalator and has all the art and craft supplies plus the cafe and seasonal sales, the cafe has well appointed toilets including separate disabled facilities. Cafe is basic but clean and friendly. When I visited the lift was out of order but a member of staff went up and got what I wanted. I always find what I'm looking for at the Range they literally stock everything. Which is never good for my bank balance! Only issues is the lack of lift and the baskets are never situated by the front door.
H. L.
Great selection of good, good prices, has a small Iceland inside as well, only problem sometimes is locating the thing you came in for.
Warning: the carpark outside the store is for the range and the kitchen store next door if you want to go to next, and the other stores on the n other side of the mini roundabout, move your car to that side as that car park is owned by a different company. I have heard of a lot of people getting tickets for parking outside the range and walking over to next or Costa, etc.
D. F.
Extensive range of Christmas goods on sale. Went in to get some cat litter which they had. Nice man on the till.
S. B.
Love the range for craft thing and there Christmas display was lovely and very reasonably priced.
J. E. F.
Yeah, it was good, more staff came to help at the checkouts when a queue developed and when we left we didn't get hounded by the lady at the door trying to sell windows.
M. M.
Lots of things under 1 roof, could spend hours in there just browsing. The cafe however was very slow and unexciting. Rather expensive cup of tea and hot chocolate at £5
M. W.
Food good, staff pleasant and helpful. They have a problem at moment with wasps. Not their fault, just nature at its worst.
E. A.
Lots of lovely items for the home ,and iceland products , but garden centre part was terrible, large trollys for stocking up left all over ,so unable to look round ,plants in bad condition needed watering, and very untidy ,needs new staff to bring it up to standard, very neglected area Tritton road Lincoln
P. D.
Great for the stationary I require, padded bubble envelopes, good choice, good price. Always seems clean and tidy and helpful staff
I. W.
Staff need to learn customer skills, no please or thanks, if they don't like leave and let someone else try
V. G.
Got some Christmas lights, very nicely priced, some lovely decorations
j. C.
Really nice layout and the store staff are very helpful
A. M.
Super cool. Good prices and diversified merchandise. It's worth visiting
E. G.
Great place to get most of your household goods.
M. A.
Decent store. Nothing special about it, hard to find an employee to ask questions when you have them. Small grocery section. Cafe is here somewhere, I think 2nd floor.
S. M.
Large spacious car park and store .
Good selection of stock .
Well worth a visit
A.
Who doesn't love the Range, they pretty much have everything you need and what a great location next to Valentine retail park. Loads of parking and I love they have Iceland food inside and specialties from TGI Fridays, Chiquitos etc. If the Range don't have it then you probably don't need it.
K. H.
Got my bedroom wallpaper from here, great quality and good price
G. L.
Love the Range, especially at Halloween and Christmas where they put all the decorations out. Wonderful store you find almost everything you need.
C. S.
range is similar to IKEA mostly same type of products but the selection is big.quality of the products are OK and very satisfying customer service.vell recommended
m. r.
Not bad price's and usually everything you need is in one shop
A. O.
Very friendly staff. Good quality products
S. P.
Easy to park. Wasn't to busy so could browse. Had a nice snack in the restaurant.
d. h.
Good quality loads of choice kind yo your purse too staff very helpful also has lift for disabled
J. C.
Last time i went in i think the team were having a bit of a move around and things were a bit upside down. this obviously is temporary. always can get it at the Range and often as cheap as places like B&M
A. K.
Great service from Liam, who helped us buy our Garden Gazebo the last one on display, very polite, could not do enough for us, thank you.
V. E.
Very helpful staff. Great choice of products and reasonably priced.
G. M.
Great place to buy items, fair price.
B. H.
The Lincoln Range is the largest I have ever been in. A cross between Woolworths and Dunelm. Great choices for most things.
C. G.
I love this shop. Could spend all day here. So many departments. Great prices.
J. S.
The Range has lots of arts and craft stuff to choose from, and the store was very clean.
There is also a cafe with toilet facilities.
D. K.
I love the range, housewares, soft furnishings, pet products, plants, so much variety, so many things to browse and buy, plus in the lincoln store there's an Iceland so you can grab a frozen pizza or whatever for your tea too.
B. D.
Love this shop especially the coffee shop lady serving was very friendly 👌 and the baconbap was delicious, great variety of stock definitely recommend this shop 👌
R. P.
Comprehensive selection of products much enhanced since Iceland set up in the store. Staff are always helpful and to top it off they have a good cafe upstairs.
E. p.
Kinda just has some home decor bits and such for diy. Its a bit confusing with the layout however
P. C.
Always fun to browse through the low quality diverse range of products in The Range.
j. w.
Did not have what I wanted .but nice shop
P. W.
Nice big store where you can find most things also a cafe and a instore iceland
i. A. 1.
Like a little quest for stuff you didn't know you needed in a store, some bits were a bit confusing and the lift wasn't working this time 😊
J. P.
Good range of products, helpful friendly staff. Christmas displays are here so it must be September. Merry Christmas.
T. D.
Love shopping here. Always plenty of products to choose from. Friendly staff
S. E.
Visited the new Gainsborough store it's a great addition to Marshalls Yard ..good home soft furnishings and lighting ideas on top of great choice of home essentials and gift ideas. Helpful staff
E. C.
Nice shop, very reasonable prices with lots of variety. Cafe a bit slow and very cold to sit in. No matter where you sit cold air is blowing from the air con - warmer to drink your coffee outside!
P. G.
The range has many items at a reasonable price. The staff are helpful and there are many of them, that are very happy to assist you. Plenty of tills that are open, queue are very small, if any. Their stock is at a high turnover and they replace items quickly. They sell most things and now have Iceland frozen department in the Lincoln store.
S. P.
Great store! Lots of space over two floors. A great range of Christmas items! Lovely home ware items at reasonable prices. Lovely cafe!!
G. G.
Their slogan is "if we don't stock it ..you don't need it" and this is very true - lots of choice in all departments from homeware to children's toys there is a very nice cafe upstairs and an instore Iceland for frozen foods.. good quality at reasonable prices.. 👌
B. M.
I love this shop, unfortunately I always end up spending more than I planned 😆. Great range of craft and painting items for me.
S. J.
One of the best shops l have been in to as there is lots of things to buy which is so good.
W. B.
Good selection of stock in the pet section but limited quantities on shelves due to needing space for so much variety. Iceland freezer section has some nice things too
J. N.
Really good. Wide range of products from soft furnishings, garden ornaments to household stuff. And since Iceland has been in there you can even get your weekly shop, including Slimming World items and a decent vegetarian and vegan section.
k. M.
Good to go on a day out for shopping. Buy be aware of the parking!! You can only be there for a 2 hours and the retail parks are 2 different parks and you will get a fine if you leave the park.
But the range has a LOT of good bargains and lots of different things. Wedding decorations and supplies, rugs, smellies, food, pet foods and toys, paints, pots and pans, art supplies and household furniture. The cafe also has good priced food too.
A. S.
Huge well organised shop!
U. P.
Lovely range of goods, got just what I wanted.
T. H.
Was very busy when we went but it is close to Christmas, did find alot of the Christmas stuff were broken or very poor quality. Won't let one trip in a few years here put me off though. The staff where very efficient and polite considering how busy the store was.
N. T.
Variety of products, carefully managed. Still open in February 2021 so I could find there what I couldn't on the Internet. Plenty of check outs so no long queuing. Helpful knowledgeable staff, all wearing face masks. Plenty of antibacterial hand product available to use. As it was not too crowded it was easy to keep social distancing and felt safe. Easy parking.
H. C.
Well got told of for standing in a q for tills (wrong way ) just following other people other than that was lovely, so much there got some garden lights 😀
D. N.
Nice selection of homeware at competitive prices.
S. W.
Everything under one roof. Not too expensive either.
M. W.
Very helpful staff which is a luxury today.
D. “. W.
Lots of home and garden bits and bobs, great selection of cleaning products, kitchenware and laundry. Reasonable prices for lots of things. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare at times but it's manageable. Also there's a small Iceland in there to, which isn't to bad.
T. L.
It all under one roof and now Iceland as move in the corner so buy your new garden furniture and not forgetting the new barbeque than nip in Iceland for for barbeque food than home for nice summer night and barbeque
j. a.
Good choice of products and a great coffee shop
L. L.
Huge place that has pretty much everything you need. Friendly staff. Queues can be off putting especially if your not picking up a huge amount
T. B. S. E.
Great shop with tons of products and very friendly staff, the prices are pretty good and the store just looks nice. The store is a bit of a maze at first but once you are used to it is easy to navigate.
S. B.
Great variety of products. This store always seems to be moving stock around so be aware there a boxes and wracking around most the time which can make it difficult with a pram or wheelchair
T. S.
Wow this place is huge! The biggest 'The Range' i have been too. Spent a good 30 minutes buying things ended up with a full trolley and didn't even look upstairs. Will definitely be going back to do more home shopping.
L. W.
Full of everything you need and want I love this store! So clean and organised. From your basic stuff to the things you desire at reasonable prices.
C. K.
Lovely place to shop, fantastic choice.
J. D.
Clean shop and toliets. Decent prices
K. S.
This store is vast and has virtually everything you would need from home wäre, gifts, pet essentials to confectionery. Very competitive on price and always friendly service.
K. P.
Not bad at all.
Not happy about the limited Iceland food giving people access to other items but it's better than nothing.
The staff are always helping and providing support. A big thank you during the pandemic.
C.
I would give it 5 star but the upstairs just doesn't have enough indoor outdoor stuff and not much for a range of age kids toys but down stairs spot on has everything you want.
R. F.
Great store. Definitely has something for everyone in there and handy having an Iceland in there if you wish to pick up food. Social distancing within the store seems to be managed well by the staff. A few customers ruined it by complaining when we asked them to step back for social distancing. The queue stretched around most of the store so I'm not sure if there were too many people in there.
Love the crafts section, there's so much to pick from!
K. C.
I love this shop .some very nice Christmas trees .I also found a lovely basket for one of the dog family .a bracket for my tv to go on the wall it was at a very good price too .
Will be going back to purchase my tree .
R. H.
All the good quality tat you could ever dream of.
G. P. (.
Very big range nice at Christmas
S. G.
I like The Range and what they have to offer.
However, if you want to return something, always difficult! I went in yesterday with a roll of wallpaper. I had bought it over a month ago and 1 roll too many. My decorator had Covid and was only able to wallpaper, for us, a couple of days ago. What a performance. Had to get a supervisor to ok return, had receipt, but no credit not allowed, EVER, had to go and buy more goods for the value of the roll of wallpaper😤😡. Once they have your money, that's it. Today, he papered another room for us and, guess what, another roll too many. Have another battle to return it.
M.
Good place to get a wide range of things for any DIY or creative projects. While the quality isn't always the best, you'll find a decent amount of entry level equipment and supplies to get you into any number of hobbies. You can also find most things you'll need to fix up your home.
L. C.
Great place for anything from kids toys fo giant gazebos, there's something for every need, kitchen stock? They've got it, want to redo your living room? Boom! They've got you covered, you get the idea.
R. A.
Great for arts and craft. Lady in the cafe is super efficient and makes a v good brew
S. N.
Can't praise them enough. There was an assistant named Laura who knew the garden section like the back of her hand. I was impressed by the store in general. But doubly impressed with the garden centre and gardening products.
S. M.
Great place lots to offer and friendly staff
B. R.
Clean, covid-19 guideline adhering store with easy to find product placements, only gripe was that a few aisles that were roped off (being set up with Christmas stock, lights/decorations etc.) were taped off haphazardly and it made those aisles look like they were condemned or something rather than being closed off while they were filled. Overall a pleasant experience in store, staff member who served us at the tills was helpful and wrapped our ceramics beautifully so they would survive the trip home.
s. s.
Very nice items and cheap
W. S.
A very fine experience at this store, I could not find anything to fault. Very helpful staff to answer my questions
A. S.
We used the made to measure bit for curtains and blinds, very helpful staff and value for money
N. B.
Got what was needed bit hard fitting it but got there in the end.
J. C.
Some prices not on had to go to the customer service point to get a price check on a couple of items
overall a good shopping experience
C. A. S.
Bit disappointed with customer service following an issue at check out.
r. h.
Potentially great store. I would spend more time in store and buy more from here but the constant loud boom boom pop music constantly played, makes me just want to get out of the store. You literally cannot think of what you want to buy. The so called music just spoils everything. Secondly, but equally importantly during covid, a one way system was put in operation in the store but was ignored by their own staff who wandered around against the traffic flow and even bumping into people. When I challenged them I was simply told to "chill out". What an irresponsible attitude!.
S. M.
The range offers exceptional value for miney
S. C.
Plenty to browse and see throughout the shop. Easy spacious to get around even with pushchair. Lovely clean cafe upstairs serving good food and drink. Kids lunch box could do with little more choice quite expensive for just 4 items and not much to choose from. All in all good afternoon out .
J. B.
I hadn't been to this store since before lockdown and a lot has changed in that time.
The downward escalator was being fixed at the time I was there but staff readily gave info about the stairs as an alternative and directed us there which was helpful...the lift was working but not everyone likes using them!
The cafe was closed at the time of my visit 17/08/2020 there was no information about when it might open.
Toilets however ARE OPEN!
The man who served me was very helpful, smiling and happy and that makes a big difference.
W. B.
Went for art supplies and was spoilt for choice, plenty of variety and good prices. Aisles are close together which meant social distancing with those people who don't think they still need to was difficult at times.
L. B.
Fantastic range of items, no pun intended! Meeting every household need including garden and pets, there's even an Iceland inside. Impossible not to find a bargain.
K. D.
A lot of good stuff especially in the crafts area but not everyone from the staff was friendly and willed to help
S. P.
Asked a lady the price of something, she said it was what it said on the shelf( it was the only one left) Got to the till, turned out it was a £ cheaper. the employees do not appear to enjoy their jobs at l.
D. K.
Zombie holocaust HQ.
When it happens (Because it will) this is my first stop, camping gear, food, DIY stuff, brewing stuff. I'm getting in and barring the doors.
At this time I have say the staff are lovely and helpful. Loads of amazing bargains and great craft stuff.
N. R.
Great range of goods and no waiting to enter the shop. Found it strange that the cashiers didn't wear masks though. Layout of the shop is also a little confusing with little to no signage to point the shopper in the direction they need to go.
A. C.
Brilliant Store, excellent value for good quality products, my only complaint was I purchased silk flowers and most of them were not priced, I like to see what I'm buying and how much it is, I don't expect to have to keep asking the price of the products, however the staff are very friendly and helpful.
M. C.
Great selection on offer, almost a one stop shop for everything you'll need in a shopping trip. Just so hard to get around with a push chair with narrow isles and random posts mid isle. Love to go without the kids tho. Great shop. And staff always accommodating.
S. R.
Good shop has lots of different choices the staff are helpful
L. F.
I like that it's brought out its Halloween display 🎃
P. G.
It has some bargains, a nice cafe inside, food is brilliant and staff are helpful. Tills are manned. I get my pet supplies from there. I have also purchased electric power kitchen products. It a DIY, crafts and loads more. I would recommend a visit, just to see the items they sell.
S. G.
I use this place for art materials. It has an excellent choice of both professional and student stuff. All of it reasonably priced. Apparently it sells other stuff, but I’ve never seen!
p. t.
Good for many items in house and gardens
K. L.
Had everything I needed. Bit cluttered but that was due to delivery
I. C.
Love the range. Good prices
A. B.
Really friendly staff here. I needed more clothes hangers cos my daughter moved into uni so came here. Unfortunately they’re run out cos other students had the same idea. Anyway the guys here couldn’t do enough. They spent a good few minutes trying to help me find another shop to get hangers. They wrote down several places which I found. Can’t praise them enough. Well done👌
D. J.
Much more collection for household accessories and when it's come to the price need to think twice...
J. G.
So many things to look at and good prices
o. A.
For all your household needs, the Range is the place to shop.
I. S.
Very good prices for what I wanted
D. H.
Good sized well stocked Range with plenty of free parking ideal if you are entering Lincoln from the east on the A158.
Plenty of plants in the garden section, well worth a visit.
s. t.
Good sized store with both an upstairs and downstairs area. Shop offers a good selection of nice house items, wedding items, toys, an excellent selection of crafting supplies, pet items, electrical items, outdoor items. Lighting, garden area and a small range of furniture, outdoor clothing and camping equipment. There is a small cafe on site and toilets. Parking outside is free. Staff are normally polite.
s. g.
What a Place! Fantastic choices in every department. Very helpful staff and constantly filling and arranging stock.
Nice little bistro cafe up stairs though we got there late afternoon, and they had ran out of jacket potatoes.
L. G.
Fantastic choice of all products, reasonably priced too. The store is set out beautifully
A. L.
Great art products for kids
K. D. (.
As the name suggests, it has a great range of stuff. However, the old motto they used of "if we dont sell it, you dont need it" was stretching it a bit lol, especially the times I went and found they didn't sell what I was looking for. Great for pet stuff though, dog toys etc reasonable prices compared to pet shops.
R. T.
Where have all the beads gone? Craft section has moved and seems much smaller. A wasted trip because there was hardly any choice of beads.
T. C.
Wide variety of products to choose from. They even have a frozen food section, I think its Iceland.
S. H.
Really good Pet Toys, very interesting variants.
J. S.
Nicely stocked and well laid out, large store with lots to look at - my only gripe is that when looking for a member of staff for help we couldn't find anyone for a good while.
C. O. (.
Really friendly and helpful staff. It had a wide variety of departments and everything you need for the home. The garden and furniture sections are excellent. The craft section is diverse and very high quality. I always find what I need.
J. C.
Great store, lots of stock, just a pity that the in-store café closes at 5pm. I saw at least 6 people turned away because the staff were cleaning down. The store is open until 8pm in the week and 7pm on Saturday, I would have thought that 6.30pm would have been a good time to close.
G. S.
Wonderful staff always friendly and helpful. Plenty of products for any and all rooms of home. Love the Iceland's inside too.
H. K.
Friendly atmosphere with such a wide variety of products, had what I was looking for, also have a really good variety of furniture
A. T.
Lovely store full of great bits including crafts Can get almost anything here at reasonable prices Lovely store yo look around
D. F.
It carries a good range of craft supplies and household items and has expanded in the last year to such an extent there is little you can't find. Good budget picture frames , cheap vitamins...worth a look
G. A.
Brilliant selection, with many items. The staff were friendly! The cashier was a bit bored though, still made us laugh! All the products purchased were not faulty and had a great price. Overall, loved my visit and will definately come again!
R. H.
Great store that covers 95% of anything you could ever need.
Store is clean and tidy and never overly busy.
S. M.
One of the largest stores of this chain. It stocks quite a wide range of produce. There was soft furnishings, rugs, beds. Pet supplies and DIY so there's something for everyone. We went on the run up to Christmas and there was a very large selection of Christmas decorations and gift ideas.
This store also has a cafe on the mezzanine which was Costa branded and very convenient, as the Costa shop a few doors down was extremely busy with large queues.
P. C.
One of the bigger stores which has been made even bigger. Good place to get 'stuff' for your house and for presents. Quality is generally very good bridging the gap between bargain basement and the quality shops.
E. S.
Love the shop but the staff always seem too busy talking or not interested in helping customers. Let's the whole place down. When I've had a price query the staff seem to be more interested in proving you wrong. For customer service I'd give a zero but the shop itself is fine.
b.
This place is like a supply depot for the aspiring middle class... Everything looks and is expensive enough that you feel superior to the plebs in B&M but cheap enough that you can still afford it if your aspirations outweigh your financial reality. I found myself swearing more just so that I didn't become too middle class - it was the verbal equivalent of fending off a demon with a white picket fence panel.
A. W.
Some stunning canvases and pictures. Photo frame are brilliant for price and a varied selection. Loved looking at all the bedding and furnishings... Just wish I was a millionaire!!!
D. C.
Friendly staff food was good in the cafe found everything I needed to .
S. p.
Great value friendly staff. Excellent range of gifts for everyone
K. M.
Great prices, great choice and easy parking. Remember you can only stay in the car park for 3 hours before the ‘fines’ police get you🥴 however and don’t get carried away like I did looking around all the shops at this retail park including a leisurely coffee and cake at ‘Costa packet’ 🤣 BTW I didn’t succumb to a fine - just!
J. R.
Wish they had more variety in colours of photo frames just seem to keep to silver white wood and black really. Been a few times to get photo frame and have left without buying but this time I did get 2 creamy white ones but wasn't exactly as I really wanted.
*. “. *.
We'll stocked with their usual abundance of Household, DIY, Pet Supplies and Iceland Food. There's quite a bit of Christmas Stuff left over, but it's not all on sale yet.
C. B.
The staff at the range were helpful in assisting me with a pricing issue, but this could have been avoided if the items were priced correctly to start with.
G. S.
Shop in itself is decent enough, good selection of items and reasonable pricing. My issue with this store is the coffee shop upstairs. They state that they serve Costa coffee, which it appears that they do. However, I don't know what they're doing with the coffee but it is stupidly weak, the milk tasted burnt and I had about a teaspoon full of coffee grounds at the bottom of my cup. Won't be going there again. Shame, as it spoils what was otherwise a decent shopping experience.
L. K.
I am giving 4 stars. I love the actual shop, ( although I wish they would get the signage right, Arts & Crafts are not where the signs are) we had an early lunch in the cafe which was pretty dire. The service was extremely slow even though they were not very busy. The latte was more like hot milk.....where was the coffee? The toasted sandwich pretty tasteless and the accompanying salad garnish was sad brown and warm. The packet of crisps was good but that was more to do with Walkers than The cafe. Not impressed at all. On the positive side, it looked clean and the seats were comfortable.
C. G.
Love this place, with a great variety of products on sale . Can see why its called the Range .
I personally like all the homely products from candles to beautiful ornamental holders .lamps mirror s etc plus a large variety of crafts
A must visit place .
a. b.
Good parking, cheap prices and great selection of homewares, art equipment, gardening etc. Can be a little hard to find things but worth a visit. If you want to go to shops not served by this car park, move your car to appropriate car park or risk a fine.
L. T.
Not too bad quite a good selection of Christmas stuff which is what I went in for
N. D.
Always have what I need
P. F.
Liam the light guy lit up our lighty World by helping us get a part that was broken on our light set we bought... just in time for Christmas on out trip to Lincolnshire
n. a.
The range have a variety of items and you can nearly get everything at a reasonable price. Iceland is a good addition to the shop but sometimes lacks cleanliness
P. G.
A great place, for cheaper prices items. They do a large selection of pet foods, bedding and collers. They have a good section of Fish Keeping items includes their foods too. Power tools, lighting, crafts, DIY and a nice little cafe. Lift and travelator to upper floor.
P. W.
Has virtually everything, except food, if you don't count sweets.
Clean, expansive with one of the best art and craft sections outside of a Hobbycraft.
Has a cafe upstairs but it's mainly tea, coffee and sandwich products rather than cooked meals. Products are better quality than a discount store but prices are generally a little cheaper than Argos, etc. Definitely the best place to go if you want to furnish a home from top to bottom, as it's reasonable pricing for fairly good quality products.
T. R.
This store usually has everything I need at a reasonable price but they do lack a large colour range with indoor furnishings. I wanted a plain bag rug and they didn't have a single one .
K. T.
Suddenly stopped doing decaff...used to be one of my favorite places to visit
T. O.
Big store upstairs aswell has lift for disabled also has Iceland in
C. B.
Great selection of almost anything you can imagine. I mainly purchase art supplies from here and it's very cheap in comparison to other places. Besides art and craft supplies the range has so much to browse and a great seasonal selection.
P. D.
An exceptional range of products from picture frames, hobbyist items, garden supplies, paints of all types. There is also a branch of Iceland so you can choose your foods on the way out
V. H.
I LOVE THIS STORE. And it has been extended now too so it is ENORMOUS and stocks everything you need and more.
The price and quality of the products are perfect. There is free parking outside the door and the shop opens until 8pm at night (except sunday)
E. H.
Good choice of home, garden and craft items. Reasonable prices. Staff could be friendlier when approached for help locating an item. Clean and tidy with plenty of parking, although the car park is a strange layout!
P. R.
Nice big clean store, friendly staff, lots of interior decoration, paint, wallpaper, gardening section, bedding and food. Lots of Christmas decorations to choose from.
R.
Jam packed with everything under the sun. Huge retail space over 2 floors you can deck out your house, your garden and do the weekly shop at Iceland. Only criticism is that it is not that wheelchair friendly as, like many of this sort of store, they do product placement in the aisles and thus creates a bit of an obstacle course at times.
J. B.
Well laid out , sanitizer coming in also at entrance to café, shame there is none on exit from toilets , although you wash your hands well most then you have to open doors
p. w.
Went to The Range, unfortunately they don't stock what I wanted. Had a look round while I was there, and I was quite impressed, had some very unusual items. I had a look at the cafe, that also looked inviting, unfortunately I had just had a drink, but I will definitely be going back.
H. R.
One of my favourite shops. Good prices and good quality. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
B. B.
It's got lots of different household products as well as art and craft materials/equipment/tools. I absolutely love shopping here you can lose yourself for at least half a day and then have lunch in the cafe.
C. C.
The Range is a very good store located just off Tritton Road. It has a very wide range of products from a small gardening department to hardware and home products. It is not always the cheapest outlet, but it is generally easy to find what you want. At the moment, they have a wide range of Christmas goods located upstairs. There is a lift for those who are no longer as mobile as they used to be.
A. D. (.
Very big store, great selection of all homeware, decorating, tools, linen, curtains, furniture rugs, incorporating icelands frozen food also. Free park on the retail estate.
P. J.
I met a couple of friends in the cafe for coffee with the idea of having some lunch and looking around the store I asked a member of staff how long we could stay in the car park and was informed 2 hours so we left not having lunch and not looking around the store on reading the car park info it was 3 hours but still think this is not long enough for a good look around and refreshments without feeling rushed and clock watching why is there a time limit it's ridiculous
c. c.
A really large store in Lincoln, not too far a walk from the nearby Holiday Inn Express Hotel but if your stopping at the Holiday Inn or Hilton Double Tree at Brayford Wharf your better off visiting here in the car.
Good range of products on show and a nice coffee shop inside (on the first floor) too.
P. B.
The store itself is brilliant but some of restaurant staff need a few manners. Ordered a sandwich at 12.42 got tea n cake for my friend by 1.02 I hadn't got my sandwich. I asked n was brought out a panini which I hadn't ordered but it was plonked on the table with the words " that's what you ordered " Tea was cold by then my friend had eaten her cake. So I wrapped it up n took it home. V disappointed.
S. T.
Popped in for a saw as I knew they'd be a whole lot cheaper than the bigger department stores..... Ended up with one for under £3!! Obviously didn't leave with just that as you always end up finding other things that you think you need whilst in there. Love the new refit in Lincoln store too.
M. H.
Yes, they really do have just about everything, especially since this store was extended a couple of years back. Unfortunately can't rate 5 stars as parking can be a pain at the weekend when the store is busy, as the car park simply isn't big enough.
R. “.
Huge range store based in Lincoln easy to get in and out of and many other retailers in the vicinity
M. C. C. -. M.
It is a large store with lots to offer. A good look around needed.
D. P.
Very busy. Unorganised,. Staff did not have time for you if asking s question. Downstairs I asked where diaries was, got sent upstairs only to find they were downstairs. No one checking social distancing. No markings as to where queue for till was.
B. G.
Really good choice for home furnishings, from bed covers to candles has good home decorating area, not bad for DIY, ( but I'm not sure about the quality of the electrical drills and such) they did look a bit cheap and cheerful, get what you pay, ship he's a good choice of pictures and lighting range, priced well with good value, parking outside the door, nice little cafe area and a bit of a corner shop near the tills, bread butter, beans and such, definitely go again soon,
c. b.
It's OK, certainly wouldn't says it's amazing.
Have been to various shops over time it isn't the cheapest, some items are more expensive than other shops locally.
Had to take a couple of items back that didn't work, staff seemed a little reluctant to exchange or refund.
S. R.
Average. Slightly cheaper than a lot of places
R. S.
Brilliant store! Litterally has everything you need! You go in for a plunger, and come out with the plunger and a surprising amount of craft supplies and cushion covers! It's a great afternoon out to go shopping, and with it being in Valentines park, there is easily a day out in this one location :) also, they have disabled toilets! Bonus!
S. R.
A very nice experience , bright shop , helpful staff and a really nice cup of coffee , she who must be obeyed had a great cup of tea , the toilets are well maintained and there's great heaps of stock . Relax , enjoy , wander and consume .
M. E. G.
It's had a revamp which makes the store feel much bigger. The garden centre at the back is great and has everything you would expect from flowers to trailing materials.
L. R.
A great variety of items- things you didnt even know you needed. There was a very long queue to buy purchases but with alot of cashiers in operation, it didnt take too long to get served.
G. B.
Used the coffee shop whilst meeting a group of friends, Had a Small coffee and Bacon sandwich , coffee was larger than I expected which was a bonus and bacon in sandwich was nice and crispy. Staff friendly, prices reasonable.
T. W.
Hadn't been in for a while and was blown away by and pardon the pun by the RANGE of products I went in for a particular item and wasn't expecting them to have it but low and behold they had it at a very competitive price well impressed BUT if you've got a fiancee who's desperate for a wedding be warned you'll be in there for ages as they've got a massive range of that as well.
S. D.
The range has recently had a refurb and is now a lot bigger and the choice is more varied. Most items are reasonably priced. If you are redecorating this is the place to visit to fill your home with lovely things.
P. H.
Really love this store. Great products and great prices.
My only complaint is we asked if we could be contacted when a product was back in stock, left my contact details and over a month later still no call... I don't expect one now either.
W. P.
Fantastic experience, could of spent all day in there. Customer services didn't seem to have the same outgoing persona as the checkout team but maybe having a rough day
S. R.
You would not beleive the range
J. H.
Loads and loads of stuff....too much stuff 🤦
C. J.
They have a good collection of items for reasonable price.
E. G.
Good shop. Sells good stock of everything. Not got any complaints really. Great range of pet supplies and gardening.
E. m.
No complaints with this place, staff helped me look for a product and were very nice
K. C.
I usually love this shop (but in different location) but felt it was a bit lacking. Also they had mislabelled something so the price was wrong and tried to say I had it wrong till I showed them. They weren't all that helpful when usually in other locations they are really friendly and helpful
V. S.
Do you know there's not enough people that praise lovely staff at these places so therefor I will 👏🏽 I love this shop it's well set out and has everything the staff here are nothing but lovely in store and in cafe! I would rather go to this one where nothing's to much as to the range closer to where I live as they couldn't give too hoots ! So well done Lincoln staff chatty helpful and polite ❤️ Xxx
S. H.
An excellent selection of pretty much everything you need for the home, office, car and garden. Toys, pictures frames, artificial flowers, camping gear, crafting supplies and a pick n mix to rival Woolworths.
P. T.
It's an interesting shop, full of all sorts of things, at an OK price. The staff were incredibly helpful and I can't praise them highly enough. Dealing with the general public isn't easy but they all seemed to do it very well.
G. C.
The Range has everything I need all under 1 roof, from coal to heat my home, Iceland foods to put food on the table, toiletries, cleaning products, treats for children, decorating products, curtains and bedding, crafts and much more, the list just go on....
n. f.
Great store with lots of stock. Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful.
N. T.
Probably the best Range store that I have visited.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
S. E. C.
Love this shop and the bargains are crazy
L. C.
Lots of choice - almost too much! helpful staff
P. L.
Great to shop seem to have everything and now Iceland in there now frozen foods depending on time u go can be long que but does move fast
J. G.
Love this shop amazing
S.
Incredible range of products, almost everything you would ever need from DIY to food!
H. R.
I bought a large bulky mirror today and 2 members of staff were extremely helpful. 1 carried it to the till and 1 to my car. Thank you.
R. F.
Large everything you need at competitive prices friendly staff
P. K.
Great shop. Sells just about everything. Including food now. (Iceland) all at not bad prices.
L. K.
It's fine, but nothing exciting. Wide choice of different items, reasonable restaurant (provided you don't sit anywhere near the air con units!), close to other shops, good parking.
R. C.
Big ol range store. One of the best in the area. Prices good an dlots of parkibg also situated next to many other brilliant shops. Asda, next, lipsy, wren, tkmax, arts and crafts shop, and sofa shops.
H. D.
Too many parking spaces encouraging too many people to travel by car, with not enough good quality cycle parking considering there's some adequate cycle infrastructure along Tritton Road - so why make it so difficult for cyclists to shop?
k. Q.
Everything you never knew you had to have for your home
R. W.
Enjoyable but sadly I was looking for a Parker pen and some refills but they were unavailable, but bought some other pens instead papermate. Are also very good. But I would prefer Parker thanks
M. S.
Always plenty to buy!!!
Good customer sevice so helpful went out her( Stacy, Newark.) to help and get us what we wanted? Very helpful at Lincoln, taking goods to our car. Recommend
M. R.
A nice shop plenty of choice but all the staff seem to be filling shelves all at the same time. If you have a query you then have to wander round the looking for a member of staff. That is my only concern.
W. D.
Always like to look round this shop, especially like the cafe
R. B.
I love this store but for two main things...firstly staff on hand to help upstairs seem non existent, and secondly furniture items with "available to take home today" posters on them being out of stock "for the next couple of weeks"!!!! Please remove these incorrect stickers and put " only available to order" labels on!!!!
J. B.
A huge variety of products at great prices. The store was clean and staff helpful and friendly. Good selection of outdoor furniture and garden ornaments.
S. D.
Not visited for over a year, but they've definitely upped their game. Lots of choice. Happy guy on checkout
M. C.
I find the range to be a difficult place to rate, it sells an unbelievably large range of tat. But it is better organized than the other tat sellers such as B&M or poundstretcher etc. I can tell the staff hate working there, and this makes me sad. I get the strong whiff of Zero Hour contracts and heavy penalties for being 30 seconds late off your break. Like sports direct but with art supplies and dog food.
C. O.
Great place for all your homeward needs, close to other shops
J. F.
Lovely shop just to wander round but always find something to buy .very reasonable prices
A. P.
Very good. I asked for help and a man in a grey pullover couldn't have been more helful. Cheerful checkout assistant too.
O. P.
Not bad, decent prices and a nice selection of things just the lack of social distancing and extreme queues
L. C.
Very good they do have a huge variety of craft materials especially cake decorating items. The staff are friendly and the cafe us spotless
S. C.
Good selection of produce and access to Iceland as well. Good safety measures and practices, polite and friendly staff
m. o.
Great place to find what you need. Some staff lack enthusiasm if you ask them to help. I asked where to find an item but I was told I won't necessarily find it in store than going to find out if they had it or not. I found it in the end after searching every section.
B. B.
Hand sanitizer and disinfectant avaliable at the door. Not sure of iceland being in there , the que for paument went all around the shop , made me feel like i was in the way ! Put more tills on 😊
P. W.
Nice shop more or less everything you need there.food.gifts.camping.xmas stuff.and Nice cafe just a bit dear for what you get but apart from that very good shop
B. K.
Not bad, sells most things. Doesn't rotate stock that often though. Can still buy things there that I bought a few years ago when it first opened.
G. G.
This is a very pleasant place to shop everything under one roof with good parking recomended.
e. s.
My favourite shop and the staff r so helpful feel safe with the covid distance ect ect ..no doubt I'll be bk :) 😀
k. w.
Nice place,friendly staff.
Everything under one roof.
Small garden centre section but very good value for shrubs and tree's.
B. C.
First time in this branch & I found it big, well organised & with a varied stock!
M. R.
It great shop but I brought some felt tips and one did not work I took them back to get replacement I did not have my reicpet which had lost and although you could not buy them from any other shop in lincoln they would not replace them so thing they should look at that as it was not a great deal to replace them
D. J.
Not very pleased. Over charged us . Had to wait to get money back while they watched a film of the transaction. Not the first time. People waiting in the cue for same problem. Staff polite but annoying as I said not the first time.
G. T.
Various items some at cheap prices. Car parking is good. Not enough tills though for my liking. But if your looking for something you need here is where more likely to find it.
L. J.
Great foe everyday household items. The cafe upstairs has nice coffee
G. S.
The best shopping place for creative people. It's stays open during lockdown, it's cheap and there's everything you may need for your creativity.
p. z.
Like the advert says....if we don't have it you won't need it. What an amazing store literally everything under one roof. Take your sandwichs you could be a while. Great bargains to be had.
C. T.
The range has plenty of room to walk around quality products in store at good prizes also has a nice little Iceland department
d. W.
In most large stores staff will take you to the item one is looking for . However on my visit I asked if sticky plastic drawer liners were in store and a disinterested employee said " it's in DIY " I never found it so I went to Dunelm and got good service.
S. T.
This shop really does sell a little bit of everything! I visit for the craft department which is wonderful. Went to the cafe for the first time on this visit, friendly service and good food and drink.
k. e.
Sell anything and everything great shop
J. m. B. V.
After visiting the range in Lincoln we noticed how spacious, clean and tidy the Isles are.
Staf very helpful.
First floor there is a cafe clean and tidy.
plenty parking spacs
v. w.
I like to browse around the Range because they have quite a range! Often buying something from there.
J. P.
I love this place, it has everything you need for your home!
A. B.
It's like Christmas everyday rummaging around this store to buy things you didn't know you didn't need or indeed that would never be useful 😉
J. M.
No matter what you're looking for, it's almost guaranteed the range has it! I was struggling to find a place selling jars for jam until I found the range, and they even had multiple different sizes!
P. C.
Great lots of choice, even found a man's wallet on the floor as I was leaving and handed it in to the staff
L. L.
Staff were very good. Only issue was the queue that stretched the entire store. It felt like there were to many people in the store.
L. i. L.
Well stocked - ample parking - friendly staff - clean and spacious
M. B.
Amazing variety of stock from soft furnishings to artists supplies.
Staff are happy to help and try and keep queues down at the checkouts.
C. M.
I think the range is excellent especially with the new extension. They have had built. We are moving house soon and have bought all sorts of stuff for it from the range. I give it 100 /10
J. W.
Great place to go for bits for the house. Extremely helpful staff and plenty if choice.
A.
Great place to shop. I mainly visit for art supplies but have purchased all-sorts here............cos they keep all-sorts, at sensible prices. Great.
N. C.
Easy parking, this is by far much better than the Newark store.
Helpful staff.
Even has Island food in-store.
K. B.
Wonderful range of items, no wonder it's called the range
C. H.
Excellent - staff were great and found several items for us that we couldn't find. Really helpful and a lovely cup of tea too!

K. J.
Good for crafting an building supplied in arts ,with a large range of other things. Could use some more things to do with classical products, e.g kitchen
J. P.
Nicely run store. Car parking a little cramped. Lots of goodies in-store, great little garden centre outback.
A. P.
Brilliant store. Always enjoy shopping here, only negative is parts of the store are far too tight with stacks of product in the middle of the walk way, impossible to get around in a pram or wheelchair
A. C.
Needed a load of random different stuff. These guys had it all. What can I say. They are an emporium. Sometimes quality is a bit off but you get what you pay for.
J. Z.
Great range of goods and very friendly helpful staff. Always hood yo visit as really good choice of goods
S. A.
First visit to this range. Its loads bigger than the one near me at Sutton in ashfield. Its set out well, Isles aren't cramped n staff nice. Staff nice at Sutton one too!!!

R. Y.
Excellent, cheap n has loads of stuff. Not a very large selection but has bits of everything
L. L.
Great place with huge selection on lots of different goods plus handy having Iceland in there too

Love this place, could easily spend a small fortune, if you are new to this store I would thoroughly recommend for all your home, garden and camping needs.
S. G.
Went in for things and came out with what I wanted.
L. P.
Very confusing. They've had a re-shuffle of their products and changed the whole layout of the store. Unfortunately they haven't moved the signage so you end up walking across the whole store in confusion. Hopefully this will be rectified soon.
P. B.
Excellent place to shop and get a bite to eat. Latte served at the Cafe is just mouth watering. Yum.
N. x. B.
Absolutely huge array of stock, got all my Christmas shopping done there, cafe staff are polite and friendly x

Great array of products, plenty of stock. My only gripe is it's sometimes hard to find a member of staff who can help find specific things.
L. S.
Plenty of quality items at a good price
L. H.
Always find what we're looking for in the Range. Lovely and spacious, masses of choice and the art and craft section is huge.
