Proper chandler's store! Got my mop bucket and mop, spray starch and a lovely mallow bush. Great pots, plants, and all sorts! Good prices, excellent choice. This is a great local shop in Allerton, I travel from West Derby to visit as it is great for gardening products and the staff are lovely and friendly, we used to have 2 chandlers by were I live in West Derby but now have sadly gone . I bought these 3 planters and 3 drainage pots to go inside them and 3 plants which are now thriving after 6 days and what was even better when i got home i discovered that the planters were made in England which gave me great delight. I have visited the shop again today to get more plants for my hanging baskets and was helped by the staff again in the choosing of plants.

Just love this shop it's a proper chandler's sells everything from kitchen aquipment to paint,brushes. mops, shovels dies, candles everything too numerous to name, always pop in if I'm on Allerton Rd.

This is a great local store. There are plenty of staff around and always willing to help. For those who drive there's free parking in the front. I think they do a free delivery service over a certain spend, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Maybe they can reply if they see this post. Support your local high street, especially when it's a great little store like this.

Great local shop with a well managed queuing system and friendly and helpful staff. They have regular compost deliveries but you need to make sure that you time it right because they sell out quickly. Inside the shop is less well stocked but they have only recently reopened so l'm sure it'll improve in the next few weeks.

This place has everything. Even the stuff you dont need, you know you will one day. One day you will think "why havent i got some carbolic soap, or some fuses, or dog chews" and that day you can pop to the chandlers and theyll hook you up. Last time i went, i spent 85 quid on storage boxes for the loft and oh my god they are worth every penny. The best thing about it is the impromptu chelsea flower show that appears in the car park in summer. Fuchsias for dayyyyyyys...
