P. F.The 5 stars reflect the service provided by Steve. He did an absolutely amazing job with my 20 year old Dyson. Sadly it’s on its last legs but hopefully his service will prolong its life a little longer. He also introduced me to the new hand held model that had been created by “Homecare” which I am seriously considering purchasing.
The only negative I have is with regards to the lady who phoned me to book my service. She was abrupt and rude when I pointed out that it had been more than 12 months from my last service. She told me it was just over. When I checked back on my messages it’s been 17 months since my last service and considering I’m on the plan I feel I’m not getting the best out of the plan. Working it out I’m realistically getting 2 services every 3 years, which I feel is simply not good enough.
Bottom line, the service guys are brilliant but the lady who phoned to book me in needs lessons in manners because quite frankly she let the side down massively

He then also explained the service contract for appliances and demonstrated the cordless vacuum cleaner which I decided to purchase because of the features he’d very clearly explained. Overall Steve was a very competent service engineer with a good attitude towards his job and great at providing information to enable purchase decisions to be made, without feeling pressurised to do so. I am reviewing my current appliance cover and will contact your organisation should I feel the cost:benefit of an appliance fever contract with you is appropriate. Overall Steve’s visit was a positive one, not always something I could say when dealing with other service providers.

In all the services we have had iv never seen my Kirby hoover in so many parts and each one was cleaned checked and new parts fitted where needed, and as for my small byson rollaball he found it was in such a state through no fault of my own but from last service , it now need all sorts doing to it.

G. M.I had my hall, stairs and landing carpet professionally cleaned by Lee today. I own 2 Kirby cleaners but the amount of dust and fluff and debris Lee vacuumed out of my carpet was embarrassing. He then went on to spray with a special shampoo and used a huge industrial cleaner to get such a lot of dirt out.
I have a plan with the company to have more cleaning next year. Lee serviced my Kerby cleaners and my Powersonic rechargeable hand held vacuum
Did I mention my oven. Lee cleaned my oven until it was like new. The products he used were environmentally friendly and safe health wise.
My carpet looks visibly cleaner and smells fresh.

Update, one year later: My Dyson was making strange noises, the brush decided to not work (temporarily as it turned out) and had lost its mojo. Cue the annual service, and Ben the engineer turned up to give it a service, replace a faulty clutch and generally give an MOT and an oil change :-) Afterwards everything was back to tip top condition and the Dyson was roaring away ready to pick up anything. Many thanks to all the folks at Vac Service, who are friendly, informative and reliable to a fault. Who needs to go anywhere else?
2020: Once again a superb service. The engineer (sorry, I didn't catch his name) replaced bits that were failing, cleaned out a blockage, and explained various aspects that I didn't previously know. You guys are still number one for Dyson servicing - many thanks!
2022: and during lockdown I was a bit worried that they might have problems surviving. Needless to say, I needn't have worried, as the engineer turned up as usual dead on time. It's always a delight to deal with companies who are competent, reliable and friendly. The personal service is excellent (you're not dealing with some box shifters who don't really care) and they're fast, efficient and very friendly. Once again my Dyson dc07 is bursting fit and ready for another year's work. Brilliant! :-)

He arrived on time and got on with the job after pleasantly introducing himself and asked me to sign the electronic work sheet. He literally overhauled my cooker and it now looks like & acts like new. After 2 hours he cleared up the work area in the kitchen got me to check the oven & then to sign the electronic satisfaction monitor. The engineer Phil was very good, I think it took longer than he expected and he ended up working on the shelves ( which are cleaned in the van) in the dark. The only negative I have is that the job got postponed three times but got done in the end at a discount.

Provided all info on the currant products and carpet cleaning , he also offered to clean my rug free of charged, but as I told the lady on the phone I was not interested in any of the above . Service dates are not always on time, my latest one is 7 months late and no apology offered. I've also experienced service engineers not turning up on the agreed day.

We have been covered by the service arrangement for a number of years now, being the owners of 2 similar Dyson vacuum cleaners and paying monthly by standing order.
Whilst we have had tussles and run-ins with some large companies/corporations due to very poor service, our experiences with this service company have been excellent whether it be the periodic service(when they 'phone us to arrange) or when we have a problem and 'phone them.
The telephone pick-up is fast and the greeting polite. A callout is arranged then and there and, up to now, they have always kept to time, done the repair without extra cost and by polite, well-trained engineers. Whatever they promised is exactly what they do. That is unusual in a world of let-downs and slip shod service. The only thing that puzzles me is that after each good review they do not seemed to have replied on google reviews to acknowledge each positive feedback, something which they have deserved but shouldn't take for granted.

R.I have been a customer for a good number of years as they originally provided service contracts for my vacuum cleaners l have always found them to be efficient in every aspect of servicing and repairs to various makes of vacuum.l also know that they provide various other services like oven cleaning and carpet shampooing but I have never needed to use these services.
L. H.After service man had left, and having spoken to a company phone employee and said all Ok, I realised that he'd tested the machine and it was left full of stuff. Plus the top filter is the same, so one would never know if it had been serviced as it was dirty. He should have emptied it, so I'm very disappointed. I've just 're cleaned it !!
He did comment on arrival what a good state it was in, and to the lady. On phone he commented he had left it worse than when he arrived. I thought he was joking until he left. He was not.
