Much prefer the one in edinburgh but its ok, got some craft stuff to make an autumn wreath

Very well stocked. The toy section has a lot of variety, but value for money is hit and miss. The shop was disorganised, which is common with all the Ranges, but it was still browsable. Huge Christmas decor range. Some outerwear items like jackets, hats, gloves and the like. Also a good Summer section with picnic supplies. Definitely worth a visit.

I give this store 0 stars for Product isles which are always packed with stock every time I go in with no room for customers to freely move around which is an accident waiting to happen. Also a lot of their stock is either not priced or they are put in the wrong place with the wrong price tag placed above. I would put this down to bad organisation within this store. The above stars are for the Range as a store in general for having a good variation of stock to offer.

Great wee place , Great Range of choice on products . Only down side I've found is the check outs , Very tight to get in and past as there is a long queue constant which is very close to store entrance making for slow Tight access.

We went here to purchase a large pot for our mock orange. There was a good selection so we were spoilt for choice and picked up something perfect for the job. However whilst there I found an indoor plant that was really lovely and I decided to purchase it. It was a very windy day and this particular plant along with many others was being blown around on the floor and its pot was no where to be found, as there were no others like it I took it in to see how much it was and was told I couldn't purchase it as it didn't have a bar code. The lady at the customers service till was very nice but unable to over ride this policy. I would think this fair enough if it hadn't been for the fact that it was to be thrown in the bin (presumably along with all the others blowing around outside) I can't help but think what a awful waste this is and that someone needs to look at changing the policy around this situation especially at a time when we are trying to reduce waste and recycle as much as possible.

You get a fair bit of useful DIY but some stuff is fairly expensive. The store itself always smells very weird of b.o. when you walk in and it's messy. Parking okay but the car park has many potholes.

It's a bit dark and pretty grubby in here, some staff are friendly, others not so much. The store frequently smells a bit funky.

We love the range! I love it because I am an artist and the stock loads of paint, canvas, paper, frames, brushes etc. My wife loves crafting and there's aisles full of the things she needs like sticky tapes, stationery, different tools like cutters, punches etc. They seem to sell everything you could need in the other departments too, decorating, kitchen, curtains, bathroom, garden, sweets and snacks.... The list goes on. You sometimes have to queue at the checkouts when it's busy. The staff are helpful but busy. It's the kind of shop that we start at and only go somewhere else if they don't have what we need. Their pricing /labelling is poor often charging a different price at the checkout from what the shelf says. Sometimes more, sometimes less so be prepared to check as it goes through. I have found that they don't stock too the rules with this. If the shelf says £5 and the till says £10 they will always charge the higher amount sometimes getting staff to go to the shelf cnc remove the cheaper label altogether (which is probably why the labeling is so poor). Having said that, the prices are generally very good so it's worth the hassle.

I rarely give five stars but this place is very consistent in its delivery of a quality product and at a very reasonable price. Yes, a little bit of Paris in a part of Edinburgh the exudes a character that dates back to the 1300's. It's fun if you speak a little French to switch the the native tongue of the wait staff. Well worth a visit.

Brilliant choice but priced a little too high. Options on sale items and some out of the ordinary home products. Did purchase curtains from the sale boxes which were lovely. Good range of wall coverings and beautiful frames, pictures, canvases. Worth a look if your looking for home textiles etc.

Was disappointed as I tried to do an exchange and could not as I had lost my receipt. Made me feel I had stolen them but said they were available in other stores so no proof I bought item there. I have never lied about somethings like this and have bought loads in that store did not want refund only exchange but makes me wary or buying there as at 76 can forget what happened yesterday never mind where I have put receipt for safety lol

I would rate this 8.5 from 10 Brilliant shop well worth visiting. I buy my acrylic paint from here. The prices are great for most stuff I have never yet come home with just my paints. 😂 For me I do think it is a bit tight to move around maybe a few less products displayed and the staff are great. I always visit here around Christmas time and usually leave with a lot of things. However, this year their Christmas range of ornaments is not as good as it has been. I bought a few bits that were quite fragile and the lady at the checkout slammed them down into the bag, I'm surprised they didn't break! Massive queues yet hardly any tills open.

You can get some great bargains in here but like all discount stores, there's issues. First off is staff. There can be very long ques despite 4 or 5 staff serving on the tills. When I asked about some cut to size net curtains, there wasn't anyone to help & the lady who offered to cut the nets had never done it before. They never had the size I required after all that. Their pricing can be hit & miss too. Some of the items have the wrong ticket on them so you need to double check your receipt. It's a decent shop though despite it's issues.

First time in the shop. I was impressed that they have a range of items under one roof. From furniture to toys. The art section was particularly of interest as it had a huge range of paints, brushes and crafts.

I've never seen so many different Christmas decorations. Fantastic variety and value for money. Even went in the cafe for a latte. But they also do fresh pizza to order, jacket spuds with fillings afternoon tea and cakes. Staff in-store and cafe very helpful and quick going through the till. Definitely be back.

But they didn't have it in stock and a very helpful young man went and looked in the store room to see if it had come back in when he came back and said it hadn't. So, I visited here for the first time yesterday, and my heart sank just a little .For people like myself,who have to use sticks or crutches,massive shops like this are a nightmare. It is just not possible to do more than one or two aisles at a time.However, I can normally overcome this by standing back and having a look at the the overhanging signsthen I can just home in on the aisle I want to go up. and that's where I met problem number one. There were no hanging signs,. There were a few stuck on the outer walls, which you could only see if you happened there by accident, and one or 2 smaller ones on the aisles themselves, again only visible when you got there. And I felt as though I was making my way through a huge maze. Not a comfortable feeling Sadly, I only with one item.. It would be good if shops in general would consider the needs of disabled people, and maybe like other shops, have a few indoor scooters for use, or at the very least ,think about the signage in the shop. I have still given four stars however, as I'm sure if I had managed to work my way around, I might have found a few bargains.Sadly,I won't be back. *** Actually ,I did pop in again, and on the way out, the girl at the till handed me a leaflet, asking us to tell them how they'd done, and you may just win 200 quid. So I took a few minutes out to fill in the info, only to have a page pop up telling me that that site was not operational,but please redirect to our home page.So, no chance to actually tell them how we feel, or maybe win some money. A time wasting exercise.

Excellent service from Craig Deputy Manager, not only did he give expert advice,but he loaded thelow trolley with all our stones etc took me through till and then loaded purchases into the car. Well mannered, professional and what customer service is all about. Returned a few days later and he remembered me and again assisted lifting bags of stones into my car. A staff member who cares about his customer and at the same time a fantastic ambassador for The Range company.

Visited with my mum (who uses a large wheelchair), my dad (who uses his hard earned cash) and myself (who needs a 4 wheel rollator to walk). The store, despite being full of everything you could need for the home in small sizes, loads of diy, garden furniture and ornaments, tons of crafting materials, it even has an indoor coffeehouse and toilets, including a large disabled one. Despite all this is how i started, the store has bags of room to get around in, even with the large motorised scooter!! Great value for money, very friendly helpful staff who are more than happy to find you a price for any item that may have slipped through the net on pricing day or more likely ive just not noticed the obviously priced descriptions!! Top staff in a top store!! Well worth the time to visit

Great choice of products for a wide range of uses. Lots for the house, pets, toys and crafts. We bought a great scratching post for our kitten, £25 and its huge :) Only thing i would say that lets it down is its location compared to the other big stores in the area. It is up behind Sainsburys and isn't very well signposted.

Sells plenty but alot is overpriced alot is under priced but the main problem is most things are not priced atall and the garden centre is a shambles all plants are dying no actual garden knowledge from staff I'd say atleast a quarter of plants on the shelfs are already dead... And there still there at full price... Some are just plant pots... With soil...and a rotten bulb or corm and no plant at £8...and the plants they do reduce look like they have been stood on thrown at a bus and pooped on... All in all.... Meh

Great place to go shopping. If You looking for a DIY stuff or home or before going away on staycation. There are items for all big and small. Really good place to get dash bulbs. Cheaper than Halfords. I would recommend. There is a variety of departments where you can find something interesting.

I love the range, but the woman in the customer service desk could do woth learning some customer service. We needed a trolly but didn't hace a pound. I had a baby and toddler and no buggy. Instead of assisting she just grumped and made it an issue. Took the manager to sort it and even then she continued to be rude as. Unsure what her issue was. I just wanted to spend money in the store...
