Lovely store with a great selection of mid-century modern furniture. We bought our Swyft sofa from here and the staff was great in explaining the various models. If you’re thinking of getting a Swyft sofa, I can very much recommend doing so via After Noah.

Bought this Swyft Sofa from After Noah and they are great! Our house is a ground floor flat with a very narrow entrance. We couldn't buy a normal sofa because it wouldn't fit through the corridors to take it to the living room. We were still worried that this self assemble sofa wouldn't make it through either but it did! It's very clever that they made the longest part of the sofa design no taller than the hight of the door, so when we propped them up it just when through the door, through the thin corridor and into the living room without a problem. Super comfortable sofa too, and we are really happy with it! Our new puppy loves the sofa too! :)

I only became aware of After Noah when looking at locations you could view Swyft sofas, and had a great experience there – they seemed to have all the Swyft models, and samples on the different colours available (which I could take home). I did this on the Sunday - the sofa arrived on the Thursday, and was super simple to assemble myself. I bought Swyft sofabed model 4. The team were excellent with communication about order and delivery. It could take up to 2 weeks for delivery but I had asked if they could expedite due to a family event and they tried their best. It was delivered in two days. The sofa is comfortable to sit and sleep on. Really happy with the purchase. Only thing is that there is a lot of packaging. Other reviews suggest that packaging was taken away but I wasn't given that option on delivery.

This is one of my favourite shops in London - I always used to buy toys but didn't know they had furniture too. I lately bought a Swyft sofa from them and the customer service was excellent. The stuff was the most helpful, friendly and positive ever, explaining all options and offering me free switches with colour options etc. They helped me measure and figure out the right size model and were very patient with my indecisiveness! Fantastic treasure and gift shop upstairs with half the level given to delightful children's items such as handmade puppets. Downstairs is where the workshop is located and all of the gloriously restored modern, retro and vintage furniture along with appropriate decorative items - we finally left with the map of London on our umpteenth visit. Stop and read the note about the store's heritage and the current third generation owner. Well worth a visit, time and time again.

This is a lovely shop. It is a great place for kids. I used to take my son to the toy part when he was little which was like going to Aladdin s cave for him. After much research and many trips around furniture shops, I decided to purchase my new G-Plan Vintage The Vintage Fifty Nine Sofa and Armchairs from After Noah - their customer service was second to none and I was further impressed by the two delivery guys who had to deliver up two flights of stairs, nothing being too much trouble, this was back in 2019. So why am I writing a review now, over two and a half years later; After finding a fault on the edge of the seating pad, I contacted After Noah who immediately arranged for a technician to attend. He arrived within the week, diagnosed the fault. After Noah without any quibble arranged for immediate repair, keeping contact throughout. In these uncertain times and with everyone buying online, After Noah offer an incredible service and I can highly recommend them, for price, qualiy and as stated, good old fashioned service.

I had been looking for a way to get a larger sofa into our basement than the two seater sofa we had - I came across Swyft sofas whilst researching online and called Simon to ask for his advice and opinion. The 3 seater model 2 that we bought arrived within 3 days, fitted easily down our turning and narrow staircase and we are delighted with it. It looks terrific, is very comfortable, and of great quality. I was sceptical about the idea of a modular sofa to begin with but it is very well made and fitted together in minutes. Ever since I discovered this gem of a shop, I buy all my daughters toys from here, as well as some quirky gifts for friends. I also found the armchair I didn't even know I'd been looking for - just sitting there, waiting for me while offering comfort to weary shoppers. Just stumbled across this little gem of a place a couple of weeks back when we were in the area for a play at The Almeida. Never left a review before, but these guys deserve a big-up. Soooo interesting. Such a weird collection of stuff, from furniture to toys, but curated to perfection. I spent ages in there. Staff super friendly and patient with me asking dumb questions. Didn’t mean to buy anything, but ended up with a cool rug and an adorable glove puppet. Random. I live in Dulwich, but I’ll be back for all my Christmas presents. And a sofa if they have a sale 🤣.

After Noah has beautiful things, including some items lovingly refurbished to their former glory. I purchased a 1960s Danish sofa-bed, and the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable in explaining its background and arranging for delivery. When I experienced a minor problem with the sofa months later, I simply wrote an email and they responded in less than 5 minutes! The exception service after purchase shows that they really care about their customers and their products.

I've shopped on Upper Street a thousand times but never thought to drop in to After Noah - it looks like just another slightly overpriced gift shop from the outside. I was only half right. It isn't cheap, but it's so charming and everything seems to be top-notch quality. The toys section of the shop had everything from jack-in-the-boxes to colouring books and crafty goodies. They also have a decent selection of greetings cards. The 'adult' bit of the shop was a lot pricier (mainly furniture) but lovely to look at nonetheless.

I love just browsing in here, half toy shop and half homewards store - it's a really unique place with a wonderful selection of products. We recently bought a G-Plan Vintage settee and footstool from After Noah. The big sticking point for us was whether or not we could get it into the house. After contacting numerous suppliers with no or very little help Matthew at After Noah was the complete opposite. He answered our questions thoroughly and completely accurately, enabling us to make the purchase. The settee arrived on time and is of real quality, just as was the service we recieved - beware of cheap imitations in all respects, After Noah are the real thing. Highly recommended.

A one-stop gift shop, with a range that almost is impossible to describe; think retro penny sweets, tons of stocking fillers, magic sets, classy retro-inspired furniture and homeware, all at really decent prices. Cards and wrapping paper are especially good, too. You could honestly come here and find something for most people, from your fairy-loving niece to your design snob dad. After Noah just makes me think of Christmas!
