I have visited argos in Oldsteet yesterday to purchase a product after very long, Argos has changed a lot, I was little confused about completing the purchases. A staff saw me and approached me asking if I need any help, she took me through the new payment process at the browser where I could get everything I need from email receipt to nectar card, it was easy and saves so much time.the service I have received was amazing.

Argos is almost a shopping institution, I am old enough to remember when it was the outlet for green shield stamps, the modern store is bright and functional but is not customer friendly, the staff wait behind minimal desks for the customers to place their orders, there is no logical way to order from the tablets and collect your order, best way is to order online and then collect, while you wait, the seating is minimal and is far from customer friendly and stuck to one side as an afterthought, what do they expect the customers to do while they are waiting ?, Argos has alway been a outstanding place to buy any thing you need or want for the house or home and has always been the first place I try when I need new tech, this bit a big but and this is a very big but it sadly lacks a customer friendly attitude and I now only buy there when I have ordered online.

Lovely customer service, friendly and helpful. I had concerns about buying a mirror without checking and two of them, Afsana and Calvin, made me see it before purchasing and re-packed it with care. I would recommend going there!!

Why are you closing all your stores and moving into sainsburys? All three argos stores local to me have gone. Now there's only a pickup in a sainsburys 'local' and to return anything I have to drive ten times as far.

The most pleasant experience I've had by far in any retail store I've been in. Although I puchased a faulty item and was frustrated with the second journey I had to make, the staff made up for it. The amazing customer service stood out with staff putting in extra effort to serve customers. Genuine and great staff who deserve recognition from management! I was served by Afsana and other members such as a tall gentleman in glasses who assisted me in Old Street store. Thank you to them!

Walked in to a practically empty store and paid almost immediately for items reserved online. Then had to wait longer than my estimated 11 minutes, how can I have to wait that long when I'm only one waiting for my items, while people coming in way after me ordered, paid and collected items ahead of me. Slow service from backroom staff.

Staff are very friendly but sometimes recieve items late I purchased 2 items and I recieved the first one very quickly. However I was waiting very long for the my second one. A staff member called Hamza was eating food next to me but I assume he was on his break as he was waiting for items he purchased. He noticed that I have been waiting for a long time and he put his food down and asked for my receipt and then gave my second item straight away. That was very nice of him but it's a shame that I didn't receive my second item when it was ready for me to be taken.

This Argos has a brand new decor but again, falls short on the whole "look at our fancy touchscreens" model. Majority of the touchscreens (tablets actually) seemed to be unresponsive when I wen there. I did find one that worked and was able to quickly figure out what I wanted, pay by card, and pick up. Nice and easy process. The store itself was clean the staff were friendly.

I went in store today at roughly 4:25pm and it was really busy so the staff weren’t able to help as much. a staff member named Fatimah helped me out eventhough it was so busy and I saw that she also managed to help out other customers at the collection point by herself. very good and helpful staff member and I would come back to this store because of her. As a concept Argos is great, a large selection of products available same day. Lately it has felt like stock levels are low on some items, or maybe they have increased their catalog to offer more. Argos has now become more important as more high street shops have shut.

Great customer service! I came to collect an item but in a desperate attempt to write down the fast track number before my phone died I accidentally wrote down a previous one instead. The man at the counter was understanding and helped me to retrieve the correct one in their system without a fuss. Thanks Argos!

Large, refurbished air-conditioned store. Can get very busy, but has plenty of consoles in store for browsing through the catalogue. Friendly staff and quick service with a reasonably sized waiting area after ordering.

This place has some bad reviews, but my experience has never been TERRIBLE. They are slow, but I've found that to be the case in almost all Argos stores. I've never found them exceptionally rude either. I will say when it hits the start of school time/university time, most things are out of stock because there is a student building around the corner, so I would say it you have other places you can buy things during the months of September/October, try to avoid the crowd here.

New terminals that enable a fast search with no problems. A small detail from one of the members of the staff, that was Olympicly ignoring the queue (me), then another customer came to the fast track Lane, and even so took her a bit to move towards him. Called the management, that assured that would check the CCTV, to analyse the behaviour. I don't really care if they did or not, it's their business, they can for sure have one or two people unwilling to work. However the other two members of the staff went beyond what I was expecting, so maybe I'm comparing excellence with normal. However too both of them I would say 6 stars out of 5. Thank you for your time and kindness to help me find the right product for my needs.

Traveling by car is not an option as there is no parking. Better to take public transport. Staff are fast and helpful. An item I purchased wasn't suitable for me, the staff happily accepted back the item and refunded me the money.

Nice modern store. Unfortunately it's a pretty slow process. There doesn't seem to be enough staff and it all tends to be a bit slow. Don't go here after work if you can avoid it.

Spacious, high tech and the staff seem really really helpful. I often order something online and pick it up here on the way back from work. The website was down when I went in once, and this wasn't explained well to the customers.

Don't understand why argos have an opening time on their website for the old street branch as 8am when I'm standing outside in the rain at 08:22 and still aren't open. Can the opening times online be rectified so that everyone knows what time this branch actually opens. BEEN CORRECTED!!! It's actually 9am opening on a Saturday where Argos website does state this. 🙂 check argos website for opening times and no where else on the web otherwise you will be waiting outside. 👍

The waiting times are not that great and they have gone back to opening normal hours as opposed to early,I understand many customers were not in attendance but perhaps they should have promoted the early hour shift more so more people knew-now they open when many people are at work.

Very welcoming place and the staff are excellent and always get my items on the exact time stated on my recipe or usually quicker and couldn't ask to be a better place to be served on then this store.

I knew about Argos when I moved to UK. This is great online stores to buy home products with a very low price (even cheaper than Ikea!). Bear in mind that the physical stores have limited products, you have to buy on line and pick up in their stores.

Angels for the power of everything get a ricoh theta camera on your birthday take a picture of yourself set the camera to the time/date you were born then get a gold Rolex on your right hand and a silver omega or sekonda on your left. At the time you were born flip a pound coin in your right hand make sure it lands on heads and put it on top of the gold watch facing heads up then get a 10p and flip from right hand to left make sure lands on heads put it on top of silver make sure you don't drop the coins then straight after put you index and middle finger on your ceberal cortex on your head and you will realise everything with the knowledge and power after you view through time!!!!!!!
