I used to avoid Argos, but in recent years they've really turned things around. In particular their order online, collect in store model is a real winning formula - ideal when you need things in a hurry. Prices seem generally competitive, and the in store experience is surprisingly pleasant now at this branch - they've opened out the space, and now you pay at the same place as you collect your items. Staff were surprisingly nice too.

Unlike larger stores, most items at this Argos aren't held in stock. Instead, they're ordered in and you come back later (if you visit during the morning) or the next day. This is better than nothing but less convenient than a normal Argos.

An Argos which is just on the corner down the road from Victoria station. Handy if you want to pick up something quickly when you're on the go. There are several desks where you can search the catalogues for the items you want to buy, and then you can search/reserve/order from the iPad like terminal. The service is pretty speedy too!

After the renovation its a great store, without contactless suprisingly enough however the lines can grow long due to the low amount of staff on tills even the "fast...whatever" order line grows long. But I still recieved quite good service.

Recently went to collect some items that I'd ordered as a click and collect from eBay. Incredibly helpful member of staff (who's name escapes me now) who went out of her way to sort me out despite some technical problems with their IT systems.
