I bought my last high end hifi from Callum, the service is 5 stars, when he come to prices and customer service, This store can’t be beaten, trust me . Don’t get fooled by the size of the store , they have pretty everything you need and when they say they are the cheaper around they mean it , don’t just browse online and check prices , if you need a TV or want to build a new high end or budget system, pop up to the store and they will give you the best prices and advice. I’m glad a store like this still exists and they survived during the pandemic, there is no others store like that in the U.K. .

I have been buying hifi kit from this shop for about 15 years.
Yes, they price match.
Yes, they are friendly.
But so many places do both of those.
Most important for me has been the after sales service. When a piece of kit stops working (happens rarely) they are always there to sort things out. Even if the salesperson who sold the item isn't in, or has left, there has never been a "oh I didn't handle this". Its always been "let me sort this out for you".
And not all places do that!
They can also recommend good installers, and they support those installers in their job. So you may wish to consider using one of their recommended people.
All in all, 5 stars richly deserved and I hope to be buying kit from Carl and the team for another 15 years.

Highly recommended this store, I dealt with Callum the deputy manager and he was very knowledgeable. He took his time to explain all the ins and outs of setting up a sound system for a newbie (me) and gave me lots of options based on my budget. After reading so many positive reviews about this place I decided to go there and buy a new Amp, as my old one was completely gone, they said DENON AVC X3700H is the best one and I had to wait on a list for it. But when I received it to my horror they sold me their x-demonstration one, extremely unprofessional service. It would have been nice if they told me in advance they were going to sell me the display amp.
Edit after speaking to the manager before Christmas we came to a agreement, I will give them another chance in the future (but at another branch not chelsea)

Just phoned ahead to reserve some speaker brackets but often use these guys for last minute audio visual purchases for work as well as great value tv's with 5yr warranties. I would say the staff here are considerably more knowledgeable than the usual retail park suspects (on average). Their staff are polite, helpful and well placed to guide you on your tech purchases. Don't fund Amazon, support your UK stores and take it home today.

Brilliant service; the man was very friendly, helpful and knowledgable on the phone. In complete contrast to John Lewis where I was on hold for 20 minutes and the woman was very short and unhelpful. Richer Sounds beat John Lewis by £10 (whilst offering an extra year on the warranty) and had it delivered to me in around an hour for £25 (on a Saturday). Simply amazing service. I wish all retailers were this good.

The customer service I received at the Chelsea store was fantastic - they couldn't do enough to help. I wanted the TV that day, but it wasn't available; however Raoul at the store, went above and beyond to ensure that I could have the TV the same day. He personally delivered the TV on the Saturday night to my address (in another part of London). I don't believe I have ever received such a high level of customer service before. If you're in the market for a new TV I would unreservedly recommend that you purchase it through Richer Sounds. Excellent.

I went to Richer Sounds in Chelsea to buy a new TV the other day. I dealt with a gentleman named Raoul as well as his colleagues when I went back a day later to ask for some more questions about the various TVs I was considering. Raoul and his colleagues could not have been more knowledgeable and helpful in my choice, as well as being extremely patient with me. I have bought TVs in the past from other specialist retailers and from large department stores, but the guys at Richer Sounds were hands down the best I have dealt with. Absolutely first class service, particularly from Matthew who walked me through what to buy in the shop and then installed it in my home. He was both friendly and impeccably professional, and took the time that was needed, where a lot of installers rush through it as quickly as possible. I have bought from this shop many times in the past and have always been incredibly well looked after. Today I called to ask if I could check a vinyl test-pressing as my turntable had packed up. Despite the fact that this did not make the shop any money, the guy who answered the phone (his name was Lewis), was incredibly helpful and said that I could pop in anytime. He set me up in the listening room and let me listen to the record. He even offered me a glass of water. If you want some excellent advice from incredibly knowledgeable and friendly staff, this is the place.

I used Richer Sounds Chelsea to purchase a Panasonic 4K TV, Yamaha amp, Focal Dome speakers, stands and cable. Every single one of the employees at the store were helpful and even covered my parking charges! They gave me a great price too. I was dealing with Sean who was very knowledgeable and arranged delivery at a time convenient to me. I had issues with the TV playing videos from a NAS drive and could not find out what to do to overcome it. I emailed the store and they found a resolution for me within days!
I would definitely use these guys again and would highly recommend you do too!

I bought a TV and amplifier/processor from this store recently. It was installed by Matthew Doherty on a Sunday, which was particularly convenient. Matthew did an excellent job all round. Very helpful in putting up the TV bracket and hanging the TV. The difficult part of the install was setting up the amp and wiring in all the legacy speakers. Matthew was extremely knowledgeable and not only set everything up perfectly but took the time to teach us how to use the new equipment.
I would highly recommend Richer Sounds, the staff in the Chelsea branch and Matthew for the full end to end service.

Bit of a charming throwback with friendly local staff, especially when the shop isn't busy. Not a bad place for low-mid range brand and big independent suppliers. They're good about auditioning gear, home cinema room all the way down to earbuds (fresh bud covers provided, per customer). We'll see how Richer Sounds continues to compete with online-only retailers.

In a world when we are all to quick to complain, I am writing a review about the excellent service I received from Richer Sounds in Fulham Road today.
I wrote a review about this store about 2 years ago when Frederik, the manager, was extremely helpful. I returned to buy a TV from them recently due to my previous experience. Unfortunately the TV that I purchased was faulty but the service I received after I reported the problem was exemplary. Steve, a courteous and helpful chap came along, checked the TV, accepted there was a fault and within no time he had called to say they had a replacement and he would come along straight away and do the exchange...not only did he change the TV but he also put the new one on the wall.
If you're thinking about whether to buy from these guys or someone else, I for one wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

Small but beautifully formed, this shop packs a lot in and has a listening room at the back to test the sound systems. The staff are so knowledgable if you're looking for some stereo equipment go to the experts, very friendly not pushy salesmen and they get that helping you understand will get them more long term customers. Go and enjoy their 1st class professional service, if they don't deliver talk to the manager. They want to help and strive to be the best, which i think they are. Even when i needed to return something they were excellent.

Brilliant service from start to end (and even after my purchase). I was looking for a sound bar / sound base and having done some basic research online, called up the Chelsea store and spoke to Raoul. He was extremely knowledgeable about these products and pointed my in the direction of a sound base he recommended. He even offered to reserve one for me as i wasn't sure when i would be able to make it to the store. When i did get to the store, Raoul talked me through the pros and cons of the product also discussed alternatives which i could consider. He then setup the sound base in their demo room so i could hear the actual sound produced. I was very impressed by his knowledge and level of service. Once i had decided to proceed with the purchase, he even carried the product to my car which was parked quite far away. The next day i noticed the product was cheaper elsewhere so again called the store and spoke to Raoul who quickly offered me a refund of the difference. If i ever need any advice on audio equipment, i will be sure to reach out to Raoul

Wow! Absolutely amazing service from Raoul! When I needed a replacement ac/dc adapter, I was referred by the UK manufacturer to Richer Sounds "who could order it for me". This was the end of a very long saga which had nothing to do with Richer Sounds, but when they heard my sad tale Raoul GAVE me the adapter I needed from their demonstration unit and sent me on my way. Really made my day, best example of tiptop customer service I have had in many years. Could not recommend them more highly.

Today I purchased a mid priced record player and speaker system from Richer Sounds. I can't recommend RS highly enough. Nothing was too much trouble, manager Josh Smith set it all up for me to listen to it properly and gave me plenty of time to make my mind up. They were able to honour a price match found online, and when I opened a brand new product and it was not perfect (part of a wire was dented and twisted) they exchanged, no questions asked, and allowed me to come in store before their official opening time exchange.

I visited Richer Sounds Fulham today for the second time to complete my purchase of a sound and TV system for my new extension. On my first visit I spoke to Steve Townley who was extremely helpful in advising me on the best speaker system to purchase - and I'm delighted with the result. Today Steve immediately asked me how the extension was going and then took the extra time to take me through a range of different TV and soundbar options showing great knowledge of the range and understanding of what I was looking for. Then when we had some challenges going through the payment stage he was extremely patient and ensured we got to the right solution - despite the fact it was a busy Saturday lunchtime in the store. My original decision to choose Richer Sounds was based on the first time I visited the store - I got there after it had closed and yet Steve took the time to come outside and listen to my query, answer my questions and then arrange an appointment. When I arrived the next day for the appointment he'd already done research on what we'd discussed which was really impressive. I also spoke to Frederick Lloyd the store manager today who was very welcoming and helpful and I'll definitely be recommending Richer Sounds Fulham.

Absolutely fantastic customer service! I went into the store to ask a few questions about my old and outdated amp and one of the staff members named Raoul very kindly helped me for over two hours, explaining to me why expensive cables are necessary for any high-end HiFi system, how dacs and amps work. He also recommended software for my computer which would help with ripping disks and streaming audio properly. All this time Raoul (and all the other staff members I spoke to) were not pushy or remotely snotty towards me like I've experience in other music shops. Richer Sounds never fail to amaze me in all respects. I have frequently been buying hi fi amps, speakers, home cinema equipment, etc, over the past 10 years, as I upgrade my system. They always give a professional service and it feels like nothing is too much trouble. Definitely the best customer service from any shop I've ever been to.
The only issue that I have ever had was with a Samsung TV which was a new model that had just come out. Apparently there had been some delay with iPlayer so it wasn't available and I couldn't get it on my TV. I spoke with the store and just as I expected they found out the cause of the problem and kept me abreast of how it was going to be resolved (a software update from Samsung soon fixed it).
I always have confidence in buying from a company with an outstanding reputation, and the prices are often much better than can be found elsewhere.

Avoid the big name oulets who have sales personal who haven't got a clue about customer service.

I've been shopping with richer sounds since the late 1980's.
They've never tried to "up sell" something to me, instead concentrating on what is the best product and fit for me and my circumstances at the time.
For instance: Taking into account the size of a room a television may be going into, or do I need a 1000 watt sound bar in my miniscule sitting room where I have neighbours nearby?
Their customer service is second to none.
I've always been treated like a V.I.P by the staff in richer sounds (Which is refreshing in this day and age)! Other electronic stores should take note!

I turned up on Saturday afternoon to buy a cd player separate after a gruelling 13 mile run where I got absolutely soaked in a torrential downpour at the last 2 miles. I wondered into the Fulham store absolutely dazed, drenched and looking probably very odd, and the guys behind the counter were amazing, they got me a cup of coffee while I was waiting for my purchase to be wrapped up safely and without any worries about it getting wet as I was taking it back on the bus. Just last month I was planning on buying a mini Denon hifi and a nice pair of speakers from Richer Sounds. Instead I walked away with two of cambridge audio separates, and a nice pair of Elac speakers.
If it wasn't for salesman Raouls knowledge and attention to every single detail, I still may of plumped for the first option. Thankfully I didn't, as i'm now very happy I went on his recommendation, as I know i'll cherish these for a long time to come.
I read somewhere recently, it might of been which magazine, that Richer Sounds are top of the league when it comes to customer care, this guy has single handily proved them right. Admittedly I had to wait two weeks for the New Elacs, but after Raoul came in on the sunday (his day off) and set the whole system up for me, the wait was well worth it.
When it comes to sound systems, this guy knows it all, and would be a worthy member of their buying team, he seemed to know about the Elacs before they even stocked them!
A nice new Tv is next on the list, So i'll be returning to see Raoul before christmas!

i always buy all my stuff from Richer Sounds, but this reached a new and totally amazing level of service. i got a yamaha amp from them...but then i couldnt switch on the tv even. So i accepted the offer to have it set up from Richer sounds. Burt Mould came round & was AMAAAAZING! Such a nice guy and Now, the sound is just treble the quality. He showed me so many clever things i can do. i am a total techophobe..... i cant turn the TV on unless my boyfriend shows me...so now i feel completely in control and love the system. We went into Richer Sounds looking to replace vintage KEF 105 speakers, ended up buying Focal speakers, Cambridge Associates Amplifier and CD player and DENON HEOS. Frederick and Raoul are very good salesmen!
Raoul then helped us on Friday and Saturday evenings after the shop closed and again on Sunday afternoon, to make sure that everything was set up correctly, and even helped us with getting rid of the old speakers and cardboard boxes! (The only thing that did not work was HEOS speakers apparently due to slow internet connection arrrrggghhh). His dedication to serve his clients was admirable and so refreshing in this age. He is obviously very passionate about great sound systems and ensuring his clients are happy too.
