I am so impressed with the customer service in Richer Sounds in Maidstone and this is so rare nowadays. They answered my call straight away, had all the information at their fingertips on a TV my Mum bought back in 2017 and best of all they had given us free 6 year warranty. They are courteous, very knowledgeable and nothing like the big Corporate Companies with staff who have, at best, a little knowledge. I would recommend them wholeheartedly - why buy anywhere else??

I purchased a new Samsung QE75QN90A from Richer Sounds Maidstone. The service from Jason was nothing but excellent. His down to earth comms and excellent product/technical knowledge really was first class. This is my go to company for all previous and future home entertainment purchases, based on the quality of service and great prices.

I have used Richer Sounds for all of my audio needs for many years both online and in-store. On this occasion I was updating my home cinema system but was unsure what would suit my needs. As always the friendly staff guided me through the many choices and I ended up getting a new Denon receiver, Dali E-12 f sub and Eltac Atmos speakers plus a mass of speaker cable. Now my system rivals Vue cinema, taking Call of Duty and films to a new level, luckily I'm in a detached property or else I may have some complaints! If you want this type of gear then this is the place to go.

In this case I was really very happy with my whole Richer Sounds experience - Staff (store manager and deputy manager of note). Very helpful, good advice, saving me time and money. First visit to the shop after testing the water with the usual places, Curry's, AO etc, and came away very happy with my experience. The staff were very knowledgeable and seemed passionate with AV in general, makes a change from the rubbish usually spouted from sale people at Currys. Not only do they offer expert opinions they price match (even online) and offer free extended warranties, whats not to like!

After 12 years our Sony tv finally packed up on us. With a husband who is virtually bed bound tv was an important part of his life. Rung Maidstone explained what we had and wanted, and they suggested a 49 KD9505, as we would notice the bigger screen, because of less surround. Ordered online next day delivery snd no way could we lift the old telly so went for installation. The chap who came was excellent he rigged up all the telly on the wall, tidied all the wiring and we could not of been happier. Being for a bedroom and not a cinema room we wanted a surround sound but without paying the earth. Sadly, this arrived after the installation man. We found the need to ring 4 times to try and find the optical in socket. The service that we received from Sebastian was second to none he obviously couldn’t see me trying to hold my husband up while climbing up a ladder to find the socket, but he stayed calm and professional throughout. Never did I feel rushed or a burden and the obvious reason I chose Richersounds, over the rest and would recommend them to everyone. Also a mention for Ashley, Allen? and the engineer.

Used this branch a few times over the years (I don't buy lots of expensive tech). Have had a couple of amps, my first plasma TV (that was a while ago) and a Humax pvr. The staff always seem happy to help, discuss what to want and what they have. Like the way they point out related offers they have at the time but it's not a hard sell. There's a couple of car parks quite close. If you need to get something in the car then there is car access, it's yellow lined but if you're quick and just picking up then you'll be grand.

In December 2015 I purchased a Yamaha AVR and an LG TV for separate rooms. I have a Virgin TV package and initially had problems with the Yamaha AVR losing sound once fast forwarding recorded programs. It was early into the warranty, so the boys at Richer Sounds loaned me a brand new unit whilst mine received software updates from the manufacturer [twice]. Sadly, this didn't fix the problem so Ben [the Manager] replaced the unit with a comparable Denon AVR. He also arranged to carry out a setup installation, personally, at my home to ensure everything worked as it should. This in itself, I consider to be customer service beyond measure. My system has run faultlessly since. However having just changed to Virgin's Tivo V6 boxes I discovered, like many it seems, that the V6 boxes run a HDCP2.2 system which My Panasonic Plasma screen doesn't support. This means that I can’t play Tivo through my Denon AVR for 5.1 surround sound via an HDMI cable. I researched Virgin forums without finding a successful solution and this prompted me to call Richer sounds. Luckily for me it was Ben who answered my call. I explained my issues with the V6 boxes/AVR setup which came as no surprise to him. Ben then spent over 1.5 hours on the phone to me whilst he searched for answers on Virgin Forum and guided me through a multitude of set up configurations to find a solution. Thanks to Ben's wealth of knowledge and experience we did find a way, and that was to use an optical cable from the Tivo box to the AVR. I am totally blown away by Ben's persistence in finding a solution, where I'm sure many other "Well Known" electrical stores’ customer support service would have given up and made some sorry excuse such as “you will need to contact your cable provider” within minutes of taking my call; especially as the purchase was made 2 years ago. I know where I'm going to buy my TVs and systems when I decide to upgrade. Thanks Ben. You are an enormous asset to Richer Sounds.

I received a call from one of Richer Sounds customers who had purchased a tasty 42" Panasonic Plasma TV (and 5 year warranty) from them, and needed it wall mounted. At the same time, I installed their matching Bluray player and hooked it up via Cat5e cabling through to their router. I installed an aerial for the TV, and fed their existing Sky picture from the main TV on to this one. I was so impressed with the picture quality, price, and the fact that the 5 year warranty was such a reasonable cost, I went and purchased a 50" version for myself which I am very pleased with. Since my purchase, I have recommended Richer Sounds to my customers for TV's and AV equipment, and will continue to do so as these guys know what they are on about.
