I've always received great customer service here when purchasing products, recently I unfortunately had to return a convection heater as it had broken down. Tony made the whole process seamless, as a manager of s coffee shop I really appreciate the great service he provides me both on the phone and in person. Very pleased with how quickly and easily the faulty product was replaced! Thanks guys!

We went in to pick up a couple of Xmas presents. Went in ordered the items and paid in the space off 5 mins. Can't complain off the service it was quiet. Nice easy smooth transaction

Fairly cheap items however the reserve station did not give me a receipt to pick up my item, ended up having to wait for an employee to open the cabinet and place more paper in for my order which isn't ideal. The machine didn't notify the receipt paper and was left ready for the next person, a bit silly if you need receipts for your items.

Usual argos set up as a store , this review thankfully is based on more than just one visit within a 3-4 week period, had really bad customer service experience with Joe on the jewellery counter, I found him very rude, hard-faced and unhelpful and if it wasn't for the lovely manager Dom I might have ended up either in tears or screaming the place down today. Since a few days before Christmas I have been waiting for a number of rings to come into store for me to see before I bought the one I want, a present from my husband. I had called in to store a number of times checking on the status of the rings ordered, at least once a week on my day off work, just was waiting on one more ring to come in (every staff member up until the next point had been fine, friendly and chatty, and keeping all the rings I had chosen together waiting until the final one has arrived for me to then decide which one I want to purchase) and on my most recent visit the 'Team leader' told me none of my rings were there and they are back in circulation because they hadn't been collected in time, and not much he could do about it and he was just generally unpleasant and as it turned out, he was also a lazy, liar of a sales assistant, because after speaking with the manager, Dom, the manager actually went and looked and found the rings I had ordered in. And thankfully Dom was much more attentive and friendly and actually made me feel like I was a valued customer. Complete opposite to how 'team leader' Joe made me feel. So to summarise good selection of products, great manager at this store, convenient location for the rest of the arndale centre.

Good products easy to order and pick from. Mostly self serve but staff in the main are great at their jobs polite and helpful.

Great place in centre of town. The downside is because it's in centre of town there a LONG wait. I used to shop in the stretford one but since tag closed the nearest I can get to is this one in town. (hulme is nearer but no buses) Stretford had a wait time of 3 to 7 minutes when iwent. This place has been 9 - 22 minute waits every time I've been and usually have to wait longer then it states. Last time I went was to pick up ps4 I ordered online. Took me 19 mins. Time before I was picking up headphones and spent over 40 minutes waiting. That said as it's in centre of town I can actually get to it as theres the one in Hulme and salford that I can't get to unless you have a car.

I still think Argos is a bit odd. It such a slow way to buy stuff. I usually end up waiting about 10 mins after paying before my order is ready.
