The shop is clean, well lit, and has an excellent range of products. Great service from the partner clearing tables in The Place to Eat, when I asked if there were any napkins. Instead of telling me where they are, he abandoned what he was doing to fetch some.

I visited the store today at the Trafford Centre ,I went to the bedding area ,asking for some advice the staff were fantastic! they couldn’t have been more helpful ,what a wonderful shopping experience, the lady with pink hair also a gentleman called Dave delivered a wonderful old fashioned service.. Really great service from Amir, excellent knowledge and customer service. 100% recommended with such a great choice and free delivery within days of purchase and a message by SMS for a 2 hour slot of delivery. Price matching to big brands was a bonus and we couldn't gave imagined how helpful the staff were as opposed to Currys who seemed to be running in circles without an ability to get the TV delivered from another store or even communicate with another store. I will always go to John Lewis in the future as they are obviously amazing 100%.

Nice shop - Christmas section is very crammed. Cafe had a limited menu when I was there and it was very slow. Had about 5 people ahead of me and queued for 10 minutes for a cup of tea. Staff were friendly. Seemed to have limited stock levels on a number of items (especially electronics) at the moment. Couldn't get what I wanted and had to source on-line, which is a shame.

John Lewis is a very impressive well stocked mega store which sell a vast range of clothes and house hold products . It is clearly evident that John Lewis mainly focus on quality brands. My wife was looking for a coat and a short jacket. She found a nice red jacket which looks great on her being a unusual modern design. One happy customer spreads the satisfaction to others to follow.

Just purchased new curtains and bedside lamps after decorating our master bedroom to complete the look. John Lewis are always our first resort. Lots of choice and quality products. The staff are friendly and well trained.

I like John Lewis got my self a bargain ex- display AEG cx7 Animal vac for £99. Also I bought a hand held fan mini fan which has a foldable handle with 3 speeds and about 3 or 4 different colours for £12. A few months ago I brought some H2 wireless headphones from John Lewis at the time they were £25 but my kids have taken them over so I've got a new pair but they've been reduced to £12.50 the sound is really good but you can only get them in grey.

Lovely store and staff. Best shop in the Trafford centre. Staff know their products and customer service is always good. Favourite department is the technology section on the first floor, amazing products for sale and the sales people will help if you need anything or leave you to browse if that's how you shop.

I visited the nursery department earlier on today and a lady with longish blonde hair, I forgot to take her name, was lovely and so helpful regarding strollers. I was being very picky and visited a couple of other baby stores too. She was explaining what was best for my toddler and what other people have said about certain strollers etc. It really helped me on deciding what I should be looking for my 2 year old☺️

Some fantastic bargains in the clearance section of the electrical department, including some Apple Watch straps. Very surprised to see Apple Airtags and accessories for sale here and saved me having to queue up at the Apple shop. Staff were helpful and if they didn’t know the answer, they asked someone else. Only just discovered this cafe although I visit the tc weekly. Fabulous..superb welcome from the girl on the door (so to speak entrance. Super friendly service. Table service was excellent with all the condiments required. Soup was super hot! All staff are super efficient. Usually use m&s cafe but they have slipped lately sadly with not enough staff and long waits for hot food .keep up the excellent service JL!

Shop was fine however a couple of interaction with staff were terrible. I don’t know if they’ve forgot how to just treat human beings during lockdown or they’ve just decided they hate their job. I ordered a new Samsung Washing Machine on line from John Lewis. The service was excellent. They texted me to say what day they were going to deliver and then rang me ten minutes before they arrived. Two young men brought the washer into my kitchen, unpacked it and took all the packaging away for me. This is the second time I have ordered from this company and I shall definitely recommend them to friends and family. Thank you.

It was hard to follow directions to park directly outside the shop. Inside they had great service. Wide aisles. Most people kept social distancing. People happy to serve and help you get what you are looking for although I had to wait to be served. This shop is easily accessible. Looking forward to being able to shop here again.

Best place to find a great bargain if looking for bargains. Look for the red labeled sale items. Look at the small print on the edge of the lable; usually the date. If it's more than a month from the date you are looking at it, ask if there is any additional discount; you may surprise yourself. Such a shame 26/10/20 Saw an oak cabinet greatly reduced in price. Enquired about it and asked for best price as it was a discontinued item. No one from furniture was available to help me at the time. I asked to be contacted the following day. No phone call received the following day, just an email saying that the item was no longer on display and there are none left in stock. I visited the store again that evening and there it was, the cabinet still on display, the exact same one. I photographed it and emailed back my disappointment. I have removed two stars until I find an exceptional reason to reinstate them. Don't be put off though, this is a great shop with some truly excellent people working there in difficult times. So shop with confidence. Update 01/09/2021 Found my reason for reinstating John Lewis with five stars. I just bought a kitchen appliance greatly reduced in price. I saved £519.00, so you can imagine my delight at buying an AEG integrated fridge freezer for just £130.00.

Lovely style consultation experience with India. The service is free and there is no obligation to buy. I felt India really listened to what I wanted from the experience and I didn't feel any pressure at all. She has a great fashion background and is clearly knowledgeable. Would recommend at any time but particularly at the moment as you can actually try on the clothes as part of this consultation whereas it is not generally allowed due to the coronavirus situation.

High end shopping at some of its best in the UK. Some JL department stores don't have the nicest selection of things from city to city. This one has a nice, diverse, and classy selection of all kinds of things imaginable. You will enjoy your experience arriving there and going through their selections of products. Be prepared to pay appropriately however!

Very helpful staff in the electrical department. Went way above and beyond standard customer services. Very helpful. 5 Star service. Badly let down by their Cafe. How hard is it to do something like hot buttered toast. Instead you end up with 2 slices of anemic look cold hard bread plus some cold butter. Zero stars to the cafe. 5 Stars to sales floor staff in the other departments. Hopefully someone in management will pick this up and do something.

Standard John Lewis really. Good quality products, but you pay for them. It's quite a big store over two floors so they have most things. The cafe is good for a coffee or a cake, but they have a very limited selection of sandwiches and hot food. There's a pick up point at the rear for large items going straight into the car.

The store is large with plenty of choice and for anyone needing electronic items these guys are the go to as they have better warranty than most places and price match.

Wonderful store. Literally everything you could possibly need all in one place! The shop is aesthetically pleasing and appealing - I always seem to end up in there, even if I didn't plan to! The gift wrapping service is super. I haven't used it in a while but it was an absolute God-send when I purchased a friend's birthday present just before meeting her for celebrations in the Trafford Centre - John Lewis made me look prepared even though I clearly was not! I hope it's still available with Christmas coming up and all! ;)

This is a nice big store. Plenty of staff on even when it's not busy. This is not always good as there is a tendency to chat with each other rather than be around should we customers need help. Still, we just bought a washing machine and the sales man was helpful while letting the products such as extended garrentee sell itself.

Excellent service from John Lewis. I went to buy an Apple Watch and the service I received from Apple Store in Trafford Centre was really bad. Staff member didn't really want to help and was reluctant in showing me different watch sizes and colors options so I just went to John Lewis who were much more helpful and also got an extra years warranty.

Great selection of goods and consistently good customer service. This branch has a coffee shop ('The Place to Eat') which serves hot and cold food, coffee and cakes, and has a children's lunch option. There are toilets with baby changing facilities on both levels, and a lift at the back of the store. Has all you'd expect, including homewares, haberdashery, seasonal good, clothing, toys, stationery, electricals and kitchen goods.

An upmarket department store, spacious, modern and attractively laid out. Easy access from the car/coach parks and also from the shopping centre on both floors. I saw some good quality outfits, shoes and bags in ladies fashion, the ground floor also has top brand cosmetics and fragrances, menswear, children's clothes, nursery accessories and toys. Upstairs there's everything you could want for the home from furniture and carpets to lighting, bedding and cookware as well as some state-of-the-art TV's and computers. The café offers light snacks and cakes but not much choice if you want a hot meal. Clean toilets on both floors with comfy seating areas. I enjoyed browsing round this store and I loved the stylish clothes but, even with the big price reductions in the January sales, I did find it expensive.

HITESH, EMANUEL AND AMIAH I recently visited the branch at the Trafford Centre with my friend who bought some clothes. When paying at the till, the Sales Assistant EMANUEL noticed that my friend had an American Credit card. Emanuel advised that if my friend was a Foriegn National he could claim the VAT back. This was very valuable and appreciated information. AMAIH was the young woman at the Customer Service desk that helped us complete the necessary paperwork. HITESH (Chester Barrie and Richard James Specialist) helped my friend to chose a Navy Blue Jacket. All three staff members were polite, friendly, helpful and professional and showed us excellent customer service.

Last night I went into John Lewis Trafford Centre near Manchester to buy myself a pair of an active noise cancelling headphones. I asked one of the partners on the floor if he could assist me to choose the right product and he kindly referred me to another colleague SHAZ as he is not so expert with those particular products. I have previously bought a couple of headphones that are considered to be the best two top of the range brands in the market and they both were so disappointing in terms of the sounds quality. SHAZ did actually show an exceptional level of customer service experience and tried to understand all my needs first before advising me what product to buy. He was not an ordinary sales person who's only after getting the sales done and making his commission. All he was after is to make my life easier. I could easily tell that when he recommended a product that is not even available at John Lewis. So apparently he was only after helping me making the best purchase decision to suit my needs. He was really so very helpful and he really made my day. Thanks a lot SHAZ and thank you John Lewis for having that high level of standards in terms of recruiting and choosing candidates like SHAZ who are capable to deliver the best customer service experience in the market.

HI, I couldn't find a section to leave a comment on a staff member so left it here. Went in today to john lewis Trafford centre Manchester... and after looking around for a few mins for a particular mug a member of staff came up to me and asked if she could help. I explained what i was searching for and after browsing quickly on the shelves she knew what design i was after. So she checked on her handheld, went into the back and managed to find one which was also reduced to clear. Really happy, hospitable and polite staff member, very concise and straight to the point.(She deserves a bonus hint hint) I didn't get her name but she had short black hair and glasses worked in the home kitchen area upstairs. I work with customers everyday so understand the importance of being helpful and knowing your sh1t! She knew her stuff.

I know JL has a great reputation but personally I don't see it. I've been a few times (under sufferance) and always come away with the feeling that there is a lot of overpriced stuff for sale. We bought some JL-branded bits and pieces for the toilet and had to return them as they either were not properly manufactured or failed soon after purchase. The after-sales service was fine and items replaced or refunded without question but that does nothing to address poor quality. Conversely, my brother loves JL and they can do no wrong. Horses for courses, I guess.

This is a large department store within the Trafford Centre, Manchester. It is over two floor and provides a large selection of perfumes and cosmetics of various famous named brands. They have a large selection of both adult and children's clothing, kitchen wear, electrical good, stationary, children's toys, garden furniture and at Christmas time a large selection of gift items. Most of these items are quality produces with the expected higher pricing attached.

Decent John lewis in the Trafford Centre, it's reasonably sized with a little of everything, it won't stock a huge range but they do have clothing, kids toys, electrical goods, beds, etc.. There's a cafe which can get busy, it's not a restaurant so only serves coffee, cakes etc. The exit takes you straight to the car park so if your only planning to visit this then park near the entrance.
