Been mainly for Christmas shopping. Beautiful range of Christmas decorations. I was after a prelit small tree but couldn't find it. Not wide as other shops as there were too many things.

Firstly I have to say that the lady who served us on the checkout was absolutely amazing pleasant, smiled and the whole place lit up what a lovely person. The shop itself was very much like I had expected it to be, clean and staff are there to help which they do without question overall a great experience. I purchased a few thing's. Good for inexpensive items. Limited on certain ranges but good place for artists materials. Just popped round to buy topsoil, good price. Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Since the remodeling of the store it seems brighter and flows better. The introduction of a small Iceland shop is a bonus.

Always have a good range of items from furniture to gardening. Bought this lovely "nano" tank for my cherry shrimps aswell. Like to use the range for gardening items also as they normally stock a good range of different planters at reasonable prices. Also normally a good variety of annual plants/bulbs.

Range is a very great shop because it's easy to navigate around and have a very wide "Range" of items . It's very big but not so big that your legs hurt from walking up and down all the isles . This shops interior is very modern and is kept very clean. The store has curtains to flooring to food it's just amazing.

Level access entrance and automatic doors, only 2 disabled parking spaces for this shop, although others on site. A wide range of products, some well worth the money others definitely not. Very helpful staff, wide isles hower not that easy to get around with a disabled trolley attached to a manual wheelchair or wide pushchairs. Face masks must be worn, not all products in stock, told hand sanitiser for use in store, I didn't see it. Worth a visit but need to be aware some products are cheaper elsewhere.

This place usually discombobulates me when I go in. Often they'll have different versions of the same items spread out across the store rather than just keeping them together... Maybe that's the point? Treasure hunt? Checkout staff are super friendly and always try and chat. Which would be cool, if I wasn't so antisocial.

I went in search of hanging baskets and was disappointed with the "range" available. The plants in the garden centre all looked in dire need of a good watering. This is also the first place I have visited since the pandemic without a hand sanitiser station at the door. Probably wouldn't use again for plants, but the rest of the products look lovely. I often get crafty bits and pieces from their large selection and my children love the toy selection!

Tried to buy something with a price on yet staff charged more they told me management said they had to so I asked for manager never got to speak with them as I told them I had rang training standards and management's advice was totally wrong in which the sales lady repeated this to management's and they quickly wanted to sell me it at marked price but I declined on principle, felt terribly awful for the sales lady

Good shopping experience, lots of choice. Liked the Freedom to roam at will during Lockdown, will use much more. Update.... Was very upset to see a sign upon entering stating that staff will challenge people not wearing a mask and asking for medical proof of exemption. They have no right to do this as it is a contravention of the disability discrimination act. I have raised this with their head office but received no reply. Very disappointed with them now.

This is the first time I have been to the Range. I must say that I was impressed. The store is light and easy to get around. Most of the staff seemed quiet young. However, I have to say that they where friendly and very helpful . A good experience. I will certainly be going back.

Love this place. Good value products. I've bought a mix of homeware, craft items, stationary, Halloween party stuff, and furnishings over the years... Love the choice and designs. Generally good stock levels and choice. Sometimes odd items have a wrong or missing label but staff can quickly sort this out and help when you ask. Decent car park size and opening hours. Sadly not as big as the stores down south but this one beats the Metro centre one hands down with a slap across the face.

Been to this place lots of times...but on my last visit there were two floor assistants both named Dean...these young men couldn't do enough to help me...an absolute credit to The Range...I asked to see the manager...who probably thought I was going to make a complaint...but to his surprise I commended the two Dean's for their help,assistance,manners and their nothing is too much attitude....I'm a firm believer in credit where credit is due and just wanted the manager to give these guys a bit of recognition for going above and beyond.

We were helped a couple to times to find thing by a lovely lady who looked like she may of been a manager. Great work and customer service by her. I have marked the store down because of the service at the cafe. My wife stood there and no one come to serve her until she rang the bell then a young lad came from the back and really looked like he could not be bothered to even be there . It was like he was dragging his feet in despair at having to do some work . what sort of service needs to be looked at as it does not create a good impression at all and in my own experience of working in retail every customer should be treated as if they are the best and first customer of the day and you should always appear happy to see them and serve them

Although not as big as the one in Gateshead (that I normally frequent), this gem in Benton has a lot of choices to offer. I find it quite easy to get around as all their products are spot on with aisle locations in the store. Visited here for the first time, but definitely won't be my last. When I went there, it was a bit late in the afternoon and the staff were a bit busy hauling boxes and unpacking them to display on shelves, so I can't wait to come back and have a look for myself!

Great value for money. The staff were really patient and helpful as I'm a bit slow at the till. The main problem is that as a disabled person it's is virtually impossible to get round with a wheelchair or scooter without having to reverse up aisles which are already narrow...but that the manager feels is acceptable practice to block them off with displays. Hence a four instead of a five.

Would have been 5 stars but when cashing out at till alot of prices were different from what the point of sale were. This was annoying as the goods I had bought were on behalf of a charity. We found everything we needed from places we could get the stuff. Although some parts is a bit messy , the staff was lovely and good prices with great amount of quality on picture frames and Dee dees cafe is the best cafe to go to if you are out and about ! This shop sells all sorts, including seasonal items like Christmas Trees. I definitely recommend that you have a look around, but take plenty of money because it is definitely on the expensive side! Some of the products are worth the price and are of fantastic quality!!

The shop is fabulous The coffee shop is another story Nothing in stock according to girl didn't get their delivery on Monday we were there on the Saturday She didn't have a clue what she was doing blaming till then stock Food came out Scone with no butter no jam just a hard scone .. Had to wait for for.two teas one tea one coffee came out Not sure if the coffee shop is run by the range or rented out but clearly needs some work done on staffing and other things

You can find quite a good selection of wares here from arts and crafts to pet items staff are friendly and helpful the only down part of this range in Benton is the cafe area it's not very inviting don't get me wrong the staff are lovely and ya get a decent cuppa but it really needs refurbished to make it more welcoming

Shopping for DIY stuff: Sells pretty much anything you could need beyond specialist equipment. They also have the same things in-store as their website which is a pain point with a lot of shops like Wickes or B&Q - I bought a couple of screwdrivers and some greenhouse glazing W-clips

Not quite everything but the kitchen sink but a very wide variety of goods all under one roof, certainly better than you'd find in even the biggest supermaket - indeed you could just about furnish a new house without leaving the store. Also some things you might not expect such aa stationery, greetings cards, art/craft materials and even snacks on offer. Good for bedding plants in summer plus a fantastic selection of lights, tinsel, trees and generally festive trimmings at Christmas too. Try here first before heading into the city centre and save yourself the hassle - it's almost guaranteed you'll come out with something which catches the eye.

This place does have some good stock,at good prices, however please beware to allow about an extra 20 minimum to get though checkouts in this place, and for the sake of god DON'T buy anything with a reduce price sticker in it ir you will be in for another 10 min wait on top of your 20 min wait while till staff wait for a supervisor to come and authorise a reduce price as they clearly dont trust there staff, other that good value for money :)
