Love this store. Always a good selection and reasonable price. Whats even better is I hear the range is coming to my town !! Saves me a drive to Newport!! I recently ordered online some Halloween decorations. Some were unfortunately broken upon delivery . This was sorted out quickly and replacements sent.

A great shop if you need most household and outdoor goods. It’s a big shop with plenty of space to look around. Only problem is trying to find someone to help. A lot of staff are either putting stock out or very busy running around.

The range products were as always good quality, however the cafe leaves a lot to be desired. We took our grandson and he wanted a baby chino they were unable to do this as it wasn't on the till, I asked for Milk this also couldn't be done. Ended up asking for the children eat for a £1 however was told no one in to make it, I only wanted the cold option which was a sandwich, piece of fruit, snack and a drnk. Ended up with just a milkshake (box not made) for my grandson, tea and a latte.

Great Store! I have recently moved house, so have bought many items there, bed linen, fab light fittings, quality furniture for my garden, plus plants, etc. I also love their greetings cards, etc, although their prices yesterday have gotten rather expensive! A nice cafe inside too, and I enjoy going there to meet friends, and just have a look around, plus, I always seem to come out with something!! A few things, PLEASE put the air-conditioning back on in YOUR STORE, it's unbearable at the Newport store, we had to leave after a short while, the heat inside was so stifling, it made me feel very weak & faint, and I had to go home... ...Goodness knows how your poor staff are managing to carry on working in such conditions, I did feel sorry for them all!

Well stocked shop, affordable prices, lots of items under one roof and staff are helpful. Cafe in the shop too which is handy as the shop is big and takes an hour to have a look so at least you can sit down and have a drink and snack. Toilets ain't the cleanest. Parking is always full but plenty of spaces over the other side of the car park further away from the store.

Good shop of your looking for something. Not very good just for browsing as you end up spending a bomb 🤣. Amazing Christmas Decorations and homeware departments. Staff are really good here. Asked if they could keep an oversized canvas print behind checkout whilst I carried on shopping so I wouldn't everything off the shelfs. Nothing is to much trouble.

Range of items availble if youll pardon the pun, shop often containing pigeons not sure if they are for sale as quite difficult to procure. Not quite sure on the range of pigeons available but the one flying around seemed to be the normal variety of bin chickens. Not tried the cafe but i would be wary of the "chicken"

Once you go into this shop, you will not be seen out in the world again for hours...! By the time you come out, you will have a depleted bank account or at the very least, you will have redesigned your home mentally over a hundred times. The shop is VERY BIG, has a lot of home design stuff - home accessories, soft furnishings etc, has a lot of homeware stuff-- dinner ware, kitchen utensils, hangers (😀 I said hangers..! but they do have hangers), they have stationery, picnic stuff, gardening stuff... etc..anything needed in a home, you name it.. It can be bought there. Even cleaning products! The store is well stocked, helpful staff and filled with everything. A great shop.

It's amazing how much stuff this place sells. Good for Christmas Decorations but think October is a bit soon. I love their camping gear in the summer and I bought some good brand paint here much cheaper than Wickes for the same product.

The staff were very helpful and the store was cleaned and well laid out. Good setup for COVID19 social distancing in place, with signs and screens. Down side is other customers who had no regard for the rules or consideration for others. One member of staff promptly assisted me with a price check for an unpriced item. He was very helpful and polite. Excellent customer service.

Good large store with big selection of items. However when I visited it was a little unorganised there were pallets of stock everywhere around the store and very few staff working to put the products on the shelves. The pallets of stock reduced movement around the store as they blocked walkways. As for safety there were only floor markings along the main walkway around the store and not along individual aisles which meant you could walk wherever whenever and come into very close contact with others as the aisles can be narrow in different parts of the store. Staff member at the till was polite and friendly but there didn't seem many around on the shop floor at the time.

Mixed emotions here some great bargains and some helpful friendly staff. But then when you enquire about availability on an item and told it is available and be left at customer service station when im ready only to find they dont have said items when you queue awaiting your turn at the desk its annoying. Also when it takes an age to arrange delivery of a suite all at same time 3 pieces not 2 chairs in 2weeks and sofa back end of june you have to raise an eyebrow or two.

If your careful there are some amazing bargains to be had. Yes it's too easy to get carried away and end up buying stuff you don't really need, but it's about a bit of self control and knowing what your going in for. The cafe does a decent coffee too!

I love the Range bought my garden table from here. Very helpful staff got it into car for me. Could have spent a fortune. Will be visiting again as they sell all sorts of stuff from arts & crafts to everything to furnish your home and they have a cafe. Well worth a visit.

The reason I've only given 3 stars is the haphazard way they have of dumping 'seasonal' or 'special'deals in the middle of the aisles! Also the toilets seem to have an issue in this store as on my previous 2 visits there has been a strong sewage smell in the shop. Overall good stock, bad layout

A very large (and busy) free car park. Because it's very busy, please watch any little ones with you. Disabled parking adjacent to the entrance. There is a slope leading to (and therefore from) the entrance - be careful when its slippery under foot. Also this slope might be a challenge to those with walking difficulties. Once inside, you'll find a very large store, but it is cluttered so can be difficult for those with pushchairs/disabled. In our experience the staff are friendly - but they could do with more staff. They sell various items such as arts and crafts, DIY, toys, some clothing, a gardening department, general household items ETC. Also on the premises there is a cafe and toilets. Prices throughout the store are not always displayed. At times we have found items cheaper elsewhere. Good return policy.

Very large store with a huge variety of stock at good prices. I get most of my art supplies here as they are cheaper than most. There's a cafe (Costa but not named that) which is good, but it takes a which to get served there. Staff are generally friendly and helpful if you ever need anything.

Excellent service from The Range in Newport. Purchased two sun loungers and were delivered quickly. Steve helped with the order, who works in the garden furniture section and he was great. Did have to return one as there was a part missing but Steve and staff on customer services were excellent and exchanged straight away.

Large selection of goods, some really great buys if you know what you’re looking for! The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because it often looks quite messy, I imagine this is more to do with customers not putting things back in the right aisle etc, but there’s also a fish tank with live fish up by the pet section which certainly needs more taking care of. As for the actual goods available I’m very rarely disappointed and frequently find what I’m searching for, albeit sometimes with the help of staff! Nice that it’s open later in the evening too. Basically an upscale B&M! Update: I must say since my review, they have simply removed the live fish and just display an empty tank now. Much nicer/cleaner and no worry about the poor forgotten fishies!

The Range is a great all rounder where you can find a wide variation of items, from household goods, tools and DIY items to dried flowers, decorations and pet products. Prices are reasonable, not as competitive as high street bargain stops but this is reflected in the consistent quality of (The) Range products. You can tie in a nice coffee and cake with the in store cafe and a few times we've collected parcels from the front off Point there. It loses a star due to its location in a retail park that has one entrance and exit onto a busy two way road. You can be sat there for quite some time if it's busy!

The shop itself is fantastic, shop staff lovely. The cafe leaves a lot to be desired. (Lady cleaning down shelves in sandwich/pastry counter brushing all the crumbs from top shelf onto open top rolls underneath, then using same gloves and cloth to wash down units at the back, then proceeding to use same gloves to retray the open top rolls I mentioned earlier and put them back in unit) just a little bit of education on cross contamination/general cleaning guidance needed.

A good reliable store where the staff are very helpful and the shelves always well stocked. Parking facilities (normal and disabled) are directly outside the store. There's also a very nice cafe that caters for hot and cold snacks etc. Toilet facilities are close to the cafe. There's their own garden centre at the rear of the store.

Went to pick up our order (double bed and mattress), got home, dismantled our old one started to put the new one together only to find we had no slats, contacted the store who had to check if they had them which fortunately they did but we then had to go back to collect them otherwise we would have had to reassemble our old one. Good job we live local to the store cause I would be alot more miffed. On a positive note the bed looks lovely now it's been put up.

There is such a variety of goods for sale. I like the household section - good quality bedding, curtains etc a wide choice of colours. A good selection of arts and crafts items are available, pet foods, garden plants, furniture - you name it this place has it. There's even a cafe and toilets for customers.

I love going into HobbyCraft I feel like a kid in sweet shop. Always enjoy just wandering around to see what different products they have for sale. I am now about to start my own business after taking up cross stitch after a visit there a few month's ago!! The Range has absolutely everything you need, Newport by far is the best. The layout is fantastic and staff work v hard keeping it all neat, whoever does the bedding area should be rewarded because it always looks beautiful. The staff are always lovely, even the younger staff know how to engage, which they don't in a lot of places. The manger has been there many years and he's a lovely man, always happy to help. Which is probably why his team are so happy. Maybe Cardiff could do with some training from Newport staff. 5*s all round!

Went shopping today and quite annoyed, as a lot of products were not priced. Anyway bought some mealworms for the birds and, at checkout , price had increased from £10.99 to £14.99. Wouldn't have bought them had I realised the price but you live and learn. Probably cheaper at B & M bargains next door but was running late so had to stick with them. I know where I'll go next time !

Great place that sells loads of stuff. Home ware (I fancy some of their canvas prints), garden (I want one of their water features), DIY (decorating and hand tools), lighting and some furniture, outdoor wear and other departments. It's also got a café so I'm sure it'll be on my Mum's itinerary next time she comes for her annual visit to Newport. There seems to be a lot of the ornaments and stuff is in the style of "60 minute makeover" so, if you like the style of that then the Range is the place for you😁

A really nice selection of Christmas decorations, all set out in the different colours, so whatever your colour choice, you'll easily find what you're looking for, obviously they don't just do Christmas decorations, that would be a bit of a silly retail business to get into.
