It's a bargin buying shop some times go in there and come out with same awesome clothes next time come out with a hat all depends what they got so that's why it's a 3 but worth going into staff do look like they would rather not be there

TK Max is great for bargain hunting. But, the past couple of times I have visited I've had issues. Both were at the till when I've been paying. Both times the cashier has questioned the prices. Bothe times I've bought stuff with a price on the tag and both times the cashier said that the prices looked too cheap and that it should have cost more. Rather than them just accepting my purchase and sorting it after my purchase they made me wait while they went and checked the prices like I had switched the tags. Embarrassing is not the word. Made me feel very awkward. Absolutely no way for me to be able to to do it. Tk Max, sort it out. Yet again today. I spent an hour looking for stuff for my son and also for myself. Found what we wanted and went to pay. All good until my cargo trousers were scanned. "Oops sorry sir the price tag looks too cheap. I'll have to double check. Sorry sir but these have the wrong price and are actually £6 more." With that I gave all my shopping back and walked out.

Thanks TK Maxx Newport! I'm going to have a shopping terapy in fact here! I actually go here for therapy, always friendly and willing staff to help you even though they do the current work. It's a great place for staff, although the shoe area sometimes suffers from empty shelves or the same products left over from the summer! The last visit here 10/12/2021 was a special one because John, during the payment, was helpful and He changed my sad mood. Thank you John, for your professionalism and your always smiling face even though the time was late and tiring! Thank you TK Maxx Newport!

Confusing, maybe it's because I've never heard if most of the brand names so I don't see the point of spending +++£££ on items which are apparently 60%off. I must admit the store itself is a lot tidy than it use to be. But it's so difficult to find things due to the way it's hashed out in boring dull line displays.

There are two entrances either side of the store and both of these are flat wheelchair accessible. Big huge store. Little bit of everything from clothes to household. Lots of unique stuff and stuff changes regularly. Always worth a browse. Friendly staff.

Isle of Wight branch is better than all thier other shops I've visited. Always tidy and clean. The staff are efficient and very friendly, especially John. Would highly recommend.

An open and spacious premises is let down by a cluttered and confusing layout. The selection of clothing items on display was poor too. Good changing rooms are provided which are private and have reasonable space to try on new clothes. There is also a member of staff on hand to help. I was even escorted to my cubicle. Of course, it deters those with no intention of paying too. Friendly and chatty staff members both at the changing rooms and at the service counter and a decent sized shop, make up for a generally below average shopping experience elsewhere.

Unique everything! Great value, I always get my cards from here. Unfortunatly Staff stacking shelves were very busy chatting about 'this weekend' to even notice I was trying to look at the products on the shelves. At 1 point there was 4 staff members in the aisle I was in so I walked round the entire shop only to come back to it which I shouldn't of had to do. I was the only 1 that apologised because I felt I was in the way.... really not acceptable tkmaxx! Oh the man working on the checkout was absolutely lovely that particular day.

Small but OK shop. Good range of the usual high discount goodies in shoes and bags. Avoid the stationery and paper goods though really overpriced! Kitchenalia quite good, very small linens and pet section.

Always great for finding things you never knew you needed. This shop is like a very posh market with some full displays and others quite empty. We go here as we like to search out the bargains. One of the better shops in Newport Town.

Very tidy tkmaxx compared to others. Parking near by and nice staff and tidy. Got ID'ed for a product you need to be 16 to buy and the cashier tried to blag it off even though we are obviously over at least 21 with tattoos ect? Its completely embarrassing and offensive for me and for them. Honestly look before you even think about asking for ID.

Shoe selection has been cut recently. Oh and be prepared to wash what you buy as its very often cleaned the floor before or after hitting the rack. You need to check regularly to get an actual bargain!! But it is possible on occasions.

All TK maxx are just mental and confusing. I don't really get the layout. The make up sections are always crazy. And they never have any good shoes in a women's size 8. But. Once in a blue moon, you find something amazing that makes it all worth it

Cracking TK Maxx! Better than most I’ve been in, with a sizeable range of clothes that are genuinely nice but also a good range of clothes that make you say “Dave come have a look at this tacky shirt!” (Obviously insert name of person who happens to be in the shop with you) but overall this is a great shop, highly recommend when walking round Newport.

TK Max is conveniently located next to Newport bus station. A great large store that has a good choice of products. There also very good at timing seasonal items. Staff are very friendley. A great place for tourists and locals alike.

A larger TK Maxx store hidden off the main high street you could say, only a single floor but seemed to have quite a lot of varied stock, as per usual there was a lack of organisation in sizing and items making it difficult to find something at times
