I personally have found the click and collect service at this store efficient and reasonably friendly. And I have not had any problems with products, other than from some rather challenging self assembly furniture. I rarely return items, but on the few occasions I have, I have been refunded without unnecessary quibbling.

As I went in the staff were talking as they had no customers and welcomed me instantly, asked how to help, escorted me to the till, found my order, and sent me off nicely. Was in the store for under 2 minutes, amazing service.

Always use this store for all of my collections. Never have i had any issues and staff are always in hand to help where required. Even in the weird times we are currently going through covid collections have been easy and with very little wait times.

Ordered pm and collected am next day. Shop was empty and transaction was completed quickly. Not sure how quick it would have been if the shop were full as there was only one person on duty.

Wouldn't choose to have a packed lunch here but then it's Argos. Argos literally translates as 'ocean of consumable items and equipment you need to live' in Greek. How right they'd have you think, but nay, tis illusion. Basically it's a shop without shelves to browse and which doesn't trust anyone who enters. As such, you must choose via a weighty catalogue chained to a booth, the item desired, then, like lottery tickets, fill in the code required relating to your item. No touch, no object, so far your buying a photo of what you want in physical form. Clutching your ticket with your life, the shop makes you go to a counter where you exchange a moment of trust. You must pay for the goods before you have them. Ok. Then, it changes into a doctor's surgery and you're given a ticket number and join some other people sitting down, either waiting for the goods they've paid for, or waiting to see the doctor about a tickly cough. There's no doctor though. Instead, grim parcel stuffed shelves tower in the visible warehouse behind yet another counter. Imagine if we bought meat or green food this way? Imagine all the people? (J.Lennon) it's weird. Like getting a train and the whole process from ticket office to platform. Reviewed!

As with all Argos outlets there is a very wide range of goods, but that's self evident. Larger shop than the one in the city centre and well located if you're going shopping at Morrison's supermarket or are looking round the other outlets in the Riverside retail area.

As it's based in a remote location compared to the one on St. Stephens Road, the queues are very short even in peak hours and the staff are helpful and friendly. Would recommend.
