Massive store with good bargains. Some tat but there are hidden gems. Lots and lots of Christmas decorations in store now.

QD is one of those discount stores that stocks a little of everything and can surprise you with unexpected bargains. There is a decent range of budget products for home and garden, and you'll often find branded clothes sold at a discount. But I mostly enjoy finding random items like my James Bond branded water bottle and flask. Expect the unexpected.

So much choice of everything. I needed some camping equipment and they had everything I needed. The clothes were really fairly priced also. The staff where so helpful when I needed to take my purchases to the car. Only wish I'd had a discount card. 😊

Went there coz it was the only place I could find that sold halofen heaters lately. Never had an issue when shopping there in the past. Just a pity it ain't in the city centre as it is a long painful walk for me.

Just picked up some lovely sausages from Peters in Anglia Square top butchers, always good meat & very friendly, i then popped into QD great for almost everything as they sell a vast amount of merchandise from clothes to small kitchen appliances to cat food... Card factory for all your xmas cards & great prices as well... Iceland for your xmas frozen meats & party food.. The fruit & veg store is very popular as well as the great Greggs for those excellent sausage rolls... The cafe on the corner opposite the car sales is a must for a great snack & coffee etc... The Square looks & is very run down but don't go by the appearance as its been like that for 40 years but the shops & people are great & thete is ample parking as well...

shop is a little worn out, but I appreciate that the company may not want to invest in superficial revisions as the anglia square complex may be redeveloped soon so it would be a bad business move sinking money into a shop that could be closed at any given moment. Aside from minor aesthetic concerns its an otherwise great shop with a splendidly varied range of items. Its always kept tidy and the staff are exceedingly helpful and polite.

Changed the layout for the better, much clearer signage , such good prices and good bargains, some of the shelves were a bit empty but that's what is expected due to a refit , staff always seem busy and helpful .

It's nice to have a local store that isn't a supermarket, so I try to support it whenever I am nearby. The store itself feels a bit grotty, but it must be hard to keep such a large space pristine. Product range is massive and the prices are reasonable if not great.

Cheap deals on home decorations, blinds, curtains, pillows, bedding, wallpaper. Also dry food stuffs. Sometimes you may get a helpful staff member but most of the time I seem to find the dud where they don't know anything and just point. There is alot of items sold here in worth popping in to see what deals you can get.

OK not the greatest rep in the world but sum decent stuff at mo! Dawg food cheap and I guess it's a suckling & see kinda purchase depending on your mutts but I see so many 'surrenders' because owners cannot afford their loyal pets anymore well shop around, ditch the Sky subscription and hey presto! Lots of good storage/kitchen stuff about but I almost don't want you to know that coz they're bound to sell out before I get down to buy sum lol!! Staffing wise....A bit like the products (hit and miss!) sum seem happy to help and others growl as you approach so good luck!😉
