Reviews of Roys of Wroxham Department Store
P. J. P.
I'm 57, and have been coming here on and off for over 30 years. There's something for everyone shopping wise. It's a BIT pricey on some stuff, but if you're not fussed and want quality goods....then Roy's is ok. Other stuff is cheaper here than other stores, and staff are very helpful at all times. Have been with me anyways.
I can't fault the place....or the staff. Quality of goods is 5 star, presentation of store is excellent, cleanliness is very good, staff are not intrusive or invasive to a visit by badgering a customer as to what he/she's looking for. Car Parking is 5 star too.
The Food hall across the road is exactly the same. Good staff, and produce. And plenty of choice too.

I haven't been to roys in Wroxham for a long time. I was impressed with all the choice of items they sell. I got nearly all my Christmas presents there. I did not have time to see what item's where on the second floor. I look forward to going shopping there again.
R. D.
Absolutely Love Roy's of Wroxham, could spend hours in here. Good quality goods, vast range, wider than a Woolworths of old. Clothing a bit high end but you get what you pay for. Sadly no room in our vehicle for a telescope but then I'd have had earache from the wife all the way home too.
Z. N.
An amazing array of goods within the store. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful.
Beautiful unique gifts instore. Designer brand clothing, Love Roys of Wroxham.
D. W.
We read online, via Roy's website, that dogs were welcome. Unfortunately this was not the case in the department store at Wroxham. Credit to staff for being very diplomatic, and also asking where we got the information from, so that they could correct it. We did go to Roy's Garden Centre, where dogs are allowed, which was good, with items reasonably priced.
L. d.
This store has literally everything you could possibly ask for. From a food market, flower stall, cafe to a 3-floor department store stocking everything from premium clothies to household cookware, this place has it all. Parking is ample, and the staff are all friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Wroxham
K. O.
Variety of goods from clothes, home department, seasonal gifts. Books, cards, toiletries, electricals, shoes and handbags.
But most importantly...really helpful happy staff. I think it's a great shopping experience
N. F.
Bright store, well stocked. Slightly pricey but also lots of bargains. Staff are friendly and helpful. Some areas a bit cramped and the toilets are constantly a bit whiffy for no apparent reason.
S. G.
Has a very wide variety of products from stationary, arts & crafts, homeward to men's, women's and children's clothing. Prices are pretty steep though.
S. A.
All you need in one convenient store! Friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. With competitive pricing and the support of local producers what more could you ask for.
E. T.
Still the best shops ever. The only place that I have found that sells a Belgian loaf. A must stop shop, if you are visiting.
G. Y.
Plenty of parking places outside Roy's and a fantastic shop for all the family and we made the most of the day trip with a lunch at McDonald's and a then we went for a lovely scenic walk around Wroxam and had the pleasure of seeing plenty of elegant Swans and some beautiful Cygnets on The Norfolk Broards
V. T.
Have just been in Roys, well this place is brilliant has everything you need, xmas stuff all ready in, prices are reasonable, there is a Roys food hall, toy shop, kids will be happy
M. A.
Good range of items. Free parking always a plus
L. H.
Super shop something for everyone, lovely staff and I spent money, well worth a visit if you are in the Wroxham area.
M. M.
lovely range of things we were looking for pity there was.not both kettle and toaster I wanted to match but settled for a different one
N. M.
Stopped in for a browse while we were passing through, it's a bit of an alladins cave - in a good way! Excellent customer service as well.
A. C.
A very good and interesting shop good selection of goods, then across to Roy's supermarket and cafe again very good, will go again
C. B.
Always a joy, nice shop to have as a village store.
Always something else to look at.
D. M.
I prefer to get my son's school shoes here, than in Norwich. The young man who measured his feet was incredibly good natured, relaxed and careful. He talked to my little lad in a really nice way, and made getting his new shoes a fun experience. Thank you for helping us so thoughtfully.
T. L.
Every department in these stores is fantastic
There food choice is great..always cooked fresh..delicious..! Thanks
P. K.
A good old fashioned department store. Selling a wide range of products at competitive prices.
P. B.
Top shop great during a Broads boating holiday. They sell everything with lovely friendly staff too.
J. W.
Great, diverse store with different sections with various pricing structures. Polite and helpful staff. Pretty much something for everyone and free parking. Try to avoid weekends during holiday season as it gets really busy though.
D. H.
WOW - so impressive - theres so much to tempt you and great prices. Was great for doing the start of my Christmas shopping
C. K.
Roy's never seems to change. Goes with flow over the years. Went into restaurant. Service a bit slow, food a tad expensive but food OK. Friendly staff which is always important, especially for holiday makers. Nice clean disabled toilets(again, always important) &sep baby changing facilities. We visited via Bure Valley Railway, grandkids loved feeding the geese, swans&ducks. Plenty of places to buy duck food. Nice day out, despite the most expensive ice cream I've ever bought!
M. H.
Great store, excellent selection of goods.
Very friendly and welcoming staff.
Many thanks to Susan in the ladies fashion department for her exceptional customer service. 10/10
I highly recommend this place.
H. E.
Almost everything under one roof. Food hall sells locally sourced produce and a good selection of plastic free fruit and veg.
M. H.
Everything in one place, nice little shopping village.
J. P.
Always worth a visit as they have a huge variety of stock in the various departments.
There is also a super pharmacy inside too who I found really helpful when I sought medical advice.
I went upstairs for the first time last weekend and was pleasantly surprised as I was expecting everything, clothes wise, to be for an older generation than me but they have a good selection of brands.
J. O.
Always go to Roys when in Norfolk. Treated my granddaughter to a new duvet cover. Bought a snowman for the tree and a couple of Christmas presents.
D. T.
Prices do seem a bit steep even though there is a sale on. (July 2020), also changing rooms are not available due to covid. But the toy/food/and clothing stores are very clean.
S. M.
Love Roy's, they have nearly everything you would need, plus a good DIY store
B. J.
Lovely staff, have everything I needed, free parking better than trying to get into Norwich city
M. A.
A trip to Wroxham wouldn't be the same without visiting Roy's. Great varied choice of products, friendly helpful staff, reasonably priced.
M. M.
What a surprise this was. Roy's are the town owning the two biggest stores and the majority of the parking, which is free. Debenhams on a local scale supplying the holiday maker with everything they need, absolutely brilliant.
M. W.
Well stocked shop with a varied range. A dangerous place to visit as my wife spent a fortune be warned lol
j. p.
Lovely store for something different. Very helpful and friendly staff.
z. r.
Wow! Proper department store with good and well priced stock in all departments. Very impressive.
D. J.
Whow.. it's a huge store with a great selection of brand named clothes on the first floor.. Roy's also has a separate supermarket which appears to sell everything and separate Toy shop.. Lots of bargains, spent hours there
B. &. A. L.
Marvellous department store selling virtually everything including major labels. One of 5 stores operated Roy's - large supermarket, toys, garden and DIY centres. Free parking in Wroxham all apparently courtesy of Roy's too.
C. L.
Good food at a reasonable price. Nice setting and lively staff.
M. H.
A good local department store that caters for lots of things. Had everything we needed plus more. Ample parking at the rear.
K. M.
Lots of good items in the sales at the moment.in all of his shops
S. M.
This place is brilliant. If you can't find what you want her you won't find it anywhere else.
F. P.
Think how it would be if you were the owner of the Roy's, that's how the staff are treating you great service, knowledgeable, helpful. Think of Woolworths but Harrods quality but at a great price.I don't know how their purchasing team do it.
G. S.
A great selection from the small and simple to the large items reasonably priced
R. P.
Never been to the food hall before, the bakery is the bees, the staff in the store across the road really helpful. The cafe menu is disappointing, very little choice, some items not available anyway.
J. Y.
Good old fashioned dept store never sure what you will find!
B. K.
Old fashion proper customer service
Fantastic department store,garden and diy
S. B.
Good store with multiple depts. including a supermarket. Can usually find what is required.
Can then go for lunch as Kings Head and a couple of cafés nearby.
m.
Starting back in the mid-1980s, we holidayed a couple of times every year (for about 20 years) in a family owned long-wheel-base caravan at East Runton, near Cromer. Each time we decamped en famille to East Runton, one of our ritual visits was to Wroxham and of course that meant "Roys of Wroxham".
Don't think we ever fully realised back then that the Brothers Roy had been commercially active in the Norfolk area since 1895. They’ve certainly cemented their position in Wroxham and beyond in wider Norfolk, providing a little bit of everything that a holidaymaker might want.
I. H.
This is a nice shop that has a wide range of things for sale,it’s in the lovely little town of Wroxham in the Norfolk Broads.
P. B.
Lovely department store and not too pricey. Great for gifts and a browse!
B. R.
They have just about everything.. And the parking is great.. Why use Norwich where the traffic and parking is a nightmare...
I. F.
Good place to shop and have good designers brands.
I. M.
Delightful department store in a beautiful little Broadland town. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Good range of clothing, beauty and homeware. You can get some real bargains too!
G.
Been to Roy's most time come to Norfolk for 50 years. Modernised over years, but still much the same.
L. O.
Daisy the nail technician was lovely and did a fantastic job, highly recommended.
J. W.
Love this shop parking wonderful. Everything you need fantastic. Love taking a trip to Wroxham wish I could live there.
B. W.
Good out-of-town place to shop. A department store and more.
L. P.
What's not to love about Roy's, plenty of parking and a beautiful stress free shopping experience. A well presented shop, with that traditional family feel that the big shops lack.
H. “. H.
Excellent independent department store. Huge range of virtually everything that you need. Staff friendly and helpful
B. C.
In this day and age it's good to see a good old fashioned independent department store. Roy's has a good range of quality fashion brands and household goods
Z. R.
The UK's largest village store! Still owned by the original family so retains its independent charm.
Oh and don't forget its famous 'Hot Chickens!'.
d. h.
Went back to visit store after 45years since last visit. Last time was when I hired a cruise from Porter&Halet (top class company then by the way) and had a great holiday. The store is better now than then ,then it was very good. WELL Done Roy's it's brought a lot of good memories back for me .Keep it up!!!😊
D. S.
Well laid out with helpful, friendly staff, like many a department store but in the countryside (I am from London). Nice toilets too! Check out the history of Roys.
n. j.
The staff were very helpful but we were not able to get what we were looking for as you dont stock it.
J. B.
Always a pleasure to shop at Roys of wroxham, light and airy, well laid out, quality products at reasonable prices, helpful staff, also ample parking. What's not to like.
M. B.
It's a must lovely place if we had more time would've visited more places there
k. f.
Love shopping at Roy's, they sell absolutely everything. Always helpful. I park up, select my goodies from the Department store (somehow I always spend twice as much as I intended 🙄). I leave that behind the checkouts so I can then pop across the road for grocery shopping. On the way back I pay for my other goods and back to the car with a trolley load. If we don't support local companies like Roy's we will lose them.
P. R.
Always come here when on holiday always friendly approachable staff and the window displays are always top notch 👍
C. C.
Good choice of all different products. Pretty reasonable priced products
A. M.
Nice products in the main store but highly overpriced.. Same items can be found online much cheaper
T. T.
A whole town practically ran by Roy’s. Very pleasing though as differs from a lot of other towns and city centres where you see the same National and international brands. We love local and independent shops.
c. f.
Large and very similar to Debenhams/Owen Owens. Good sale and staff friendly.
C. N.
Stock most things, we visited all the different shops (DIY, toy and department store) we also like the Clarkes shoes department where we usually get ours kids feet measured. Staff are always friendly and ready to help
J. W.
The biggest village store In the world. Great staff. If you can't get it in Roy's you don't need it.
R. C.
Great variety. I even got a Brussel sprout game for Christmas
M. B.
Had everything we wanted plus very helpful and polite staff.
K. B.
Nice store with lovely cafe with cakes
F. F.
Lovely little place, full of shops, cafes and chip shops 👍 a nice place for an afternoon outing 😁
M. W.

S. G.
Free parking, amazing, good store, staff friendly.
K. M.
Lovely shop, lots of really nice and varied products and different prices...some things are very expensive but you can also get a bargain. Lovely helpful staff, no queues at tills.
C. S.
Pleasant shop staff helpful, can get almost everything you need for home and clothing, the world's biggest village store is no disappointment, well worth a visit for a few hours, more so with plenty of free parking
D. t. B.
Good quality products
Helpful and friendly staff
Convenient
R. P.
It is a excellent service at Roy's of Wroxham department stores
B. P.
Not a bad experience all in all. Don't go the Roy's often usually it's a special day out as I love a fair way from them. Have a great range of products and do a reasonably price range of festive stuff. Always have friendly staff around to assist too. Can get busy in the last few weeks to Christmas. Would recommend this store.
C. M.
Polite and friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Variety of goods and services. Well worth a visit
A. T.
Amazing place. A real department store for a change as others seem to be closing. Carry on the good work Roy's.
t. j.
Staff and choice of items really FAB.
C. R.
Revisted this place after 10 years

C. L.
Awesome store, loads of products and friendly staff, love this store, oh and set in a beautiful location!
J. W.
Great store with plenty of choice and good prices
D. J.
Nice store, covid secure, every thing you need
P.
I ordered a dyson fan from John Lewis but two days later they had cancelled the order because “the details you gave us haven’t passed our internal checks, so we’re unable to complete your order and have cancelled it.... Magically they had ‘run out’ of stock for that product. I then found Roy’s and they had the product, it was competitively priced and they did free delivery. It came two days later in safe, secure packaging. I could track its delivery which was on time, excellent condition and it was such an easy transaction. I would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you :-) A very happy customer.
S. M.
Very helpful staff in the main store, the toy store and the Do it yourself store. There is very little you can't find to buy here. Good shopping experience.
O.
my life has changed forever since visiting roys
T. A.
I bought a gardening tool online from here, made by a high quality brand, and almost immediately hit an issue with it. Customer service was no quibbling, friendly and extraordinarily helpful. Highly recommend then, and I'll drop in next time I'm passing!
B. B.
What a strange spread out store. Worthwhile but the Cafe is a bit rough.
P. W. (.
Good selection, but not as cheap as it used to be.
G.
Great selection of goods and reasonably priced.
M. C.
A very interesting department store and group of stores. The history of the store and its founders is very interesting. They between them cater for nearly all requirements.
J. B.
Lovely staff, extremely polite. Made me feel like a very valued customer.
M. I.
Lovely shops (more than one)
K. H.

We love Roys. We have visited Norfolk for the past six years on holiday and we always make a point of visiting Roys!
S. J. J.
My go to moochy shop....love It!....
S. D.
Very pretty little town by the broads and a lot of the shops including McDonald's were called Roys which made me smile
L. A.
Great store based in the broads area plenty of parking available and even a garden centre well worth a visit!
A. M.
Great place. Good bargains. lots of things to buy
P. H.
Every time we go to Norfolk we always stop at wroxham & Roy's Roy's have a variety of shops & free parking also good value for money
J. F.
At Roy's there is one side which is a supermarket walk through a closed in archway where you can buy clothes, shoes and do the lottery there is also a McDonald's which is always busy.
For the clothes they cater for all the family at reasonable prices. The supermarket is an excellent place to get what you want again reasonable prices.
Across the road there is another Roy's department store which features a pharmacy, household goods, books, DVDs & CDs. Upstairs there is a clothes section for all the family plus bedding items. There is 2 large car parks one right by the Norfolk Broads which is a 2 minute walk , the other big car park is right by Roy's itself which can get very busy.
S. T.
Sells just about everything and is good for browsing.
D. G.
I've been going to Roy's all my life, normally I'd give it a 5 star because I love it but I've went in to today even though the staff were friendly and had all the bits I needed I felt personal there were too many people in the store and didn't feel comfortable with the social distancing, tape on the floor but with too many people it was a bit of a grid lock around the cards.
E. M.
Very friendly and i shopped evrything I needed thank you
D. F.
Good little store caters for most things with a few of the top brands available as well. A good selection of small white goods and cosmetics also had a good clothes department both up and down stairs. Parking is good but always busy you can't turn right of main road if coming from Stalham direction , you have to drive over the bridge find somewhere to turn round and come back and turn left.
J. P. K.
Marvellous place. Free parking. Large selection.
V. K.
Love Roys. Bought freshly baked sausage rolls and some freshly baked bread and some ham to make sandwiches for lunch 😋 👌. Everything was delicious 😋 highly recommended.
H. R.
Always go to Roy's of Wroxham when in the area. Great store with lots of choice
k.
Nice shop with a good range of things. Reminds me of an upmarket woolworths. Clothing is nice but a bit pricey for me.
R. H.
Love this shop staff friendly my only one critismn is clothes department could do with spacing out a bit more.
M. T.
Toy shop is great. A little under stocked this visit though.
g. s.
Love the fact this was a family concern from pre 1900 ! Still quality goods & amazing customer service visited here many times over the years !
V. H.
My first visit to Wroxham and I found Roy's stores a refreshing change from the usual high street shops. Was impressed by the size of the department store and the range of goods available for such a small village. Everything from kitchenware and TV's to fashion accessories, beauty products and clothes. Some lovely and original gifts on the ground floor. Clean toilets upstairs and ample car parking behind the store. Gets very busy but worth a look even if like me you're only here on a flying visit!
R. S.
Wonderful to experience a department store again
k. a.
Great department store, if you're in Wroxham you can't miss all of the Roy's stores. A must visit, they sell a very wide range of stuff including a food store. Convenient parking, toilets, disabled access and reasonable prices.
J. A.
So pleased to see that the toilets were open! The rolls and two different types of cakes we purchased were very nice as well & the female staff member manning the door was very pleasant.
L. G.
Had a brilliant visit, queuing was very quick, didn't have to wait for long. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Everyone kept to there distances. Arrows on floor where very clear and easy to follow. Overall a great visit.
P. D.
Another great Norfolk find. Very friendly and helpful staff. Could teach a lot of chain stores some good old fashion manners. We'll be back.
m. s.
Great place to visit and worth a look around.
S. W.
Brilliant service from the ladies shoes department. Didn't have my size in boots I wanted so ordered them from another branch. Very pleased.
V. H.
What a great and unique business in such a lovely location
A. M.
As always I have found exactly what I wanted. Great to have a browse, simply a fabulous destination for some time out.
R. a.
Great store plenty for everyone
L. R.
Nice Independent department store, nice staff, good variety of products at reasonable prices
A. R.
Excellent smaller department store. Prices on many items were good and we found the staff to be very friendly. Free parking in a largish car park. Well worth a visit.
A. A.
Nice store well laid out. Friendly staff nice items to buy. Very nice
S. C.
Typical of a very large Departmental Store, they stock virtually everything, prices seem a little high.
J. W.
Had some keys cut, great service. Great shopping throughout the store
V. O.
Prices have certainly increased since I last visited a Roy's store. Roy's used to be a 'cheaper' alternative store, however I would not longer think this way and would not visit again due to price increases. For example, a simple sandwich, drink and crisps cost £5 where as McDonald's next door in food court would be cheaper and more filling in addition to being a hot meal.
A. E.
Great local produce in the food hall, meat and vegetable sections especially. Department store has everything you are likely to want, holidaying or otherwise. Sale items seem v. good value as well.
Air conditioning also a bonus in the hot weather!
S. A. L. (.
Just the best shopping experience for miles around. Large car park with some shade in places. There is a garden centre, a grocery store and then the main part which is a general store. The kitchenware is particularly good. Other wares are too numerous to mention. You are sure to find a bargain as there are offers galore. Good toilets on first floor near the stairs.
A. W.
Absolutely love this store! All staff are super friendly and helpful. I wish them all my very best wishes during the pandemic
L. C.
Short visit and pass by is fine, the river view is nice..
J. M.
We go there regularly. Great choices. The food hall had everything that you need. There are also other departments covering, electrical, household, clothing, DIY and a garden centre. All of which are well worth a visit
M. H.
It's OK. It's good to get xmas presents when the need arises all under one roof.
J. F.
Went to the kids shoes department. I measured my grand-daughtwrs feet first then asked for help. The two young gentlemen who came to my assistance were excellent. Great customer service 👍
D. B.
Stunning array of Christmas decorations tastefully arranged, helpful staff, a little bit of refinement throughout the store. Well done
K. L.
Nice department store, good selection
V. P.
Have always loved this store. We moved away more than 40 years ago but whenever we are back in Norfolk Roys is a must. A bargain really is a bargain at Roys.
L. F.
Lovely shopping centre. Spread out across three shops. Staff are always helpful and nice. The store is clean and has a lovely atmosphere. There is a great range of clothes, gifts, toys, food and much much more!
A. T.
Friendly staff and a good selection of both food, home and personal items.
D. E.
Excellent selection of items and extremely helpful and friendly staff. We went for a number of diverse items and got every single one from the same shop! We were very happy to not have to go into Norwich this time round. Thanks Roys!
J. M.
Love this place. Such a vast selection. You can always things you want
S. P.
Very helpful staff. Reasonable prices. Lovely shop.
S. V.
A large store selling everything you could imagine. A little overpriced but quite nice to walk around on a rainy day.
R. M.
Got everything that you need in 4 buildings
H. L.
Roy's used to be good value for money and stocked everything you could want, 'back in the day' but now have overpriced, limited, dated stock (handbags, perfume, shoes) and a scary pottery and breakables area which is particularly scary if you have rambunctious kids or poor spatial awareness.
Save n wear needs to be restored to it former glory and the place needs updating to include a full IT/computer/games repair centre section with staff with expert knowledge instead of the tiny selection available now.
J. F.
Does Roy own everything in Wroxham? It feels that way when strolling through the town. By far the largest range of goods to be found in the department store. Be prepared for holiday resort pricing on some lines but worth a look around and you could just spot that illusive item not available in your typical high street.
I. M.
Nice family owned department store. Lots of brand names and very friendly staff. We visited after a morning Day Boat on The Broads.
F. F.
Great store, very large, escalators in store to go to clothes and bedding department upstairs. Friendly staff, lots of bits on offer got my elvive hair products cheaper. And a lovely cardigan. Make up, home accessories and more here. Worth having a look around
p. e.
Beautiful department store, if you have deep pockets. 😁
C. W.
A vintage department store that's tried to move with the times and has ended up being terribly expensive and largely outdated. The staff are all fantastic and helpful but the department store really needs reviving, it needs better eye catching window displays, the current displays just look tired. It could also do with new affordable clothes range as majority of the clothes are for people who have huge wallets and want to dress like George Orwell.
B. E.
Love this store ,so much downstairs for home ,birthday cards etc . Chemist, perfume hair dryers well just about everything you should need. Upstairs ,wool, knitting patterns and needles ,needles cottons . And some lovely clothes ,many good named clothes for men and women also shoes
M. K.
Very few staff in clothing area. No one seemed to be pleased to see you.
J. D.
Great store which has been wonderfully updated over the years and now has fabulous departments which are well laid out with lovely merchandise
L. A.
It has gone up market. Feels like a Debenhams.
J. P.
A lovely department store. Not many department stores left these days, so this is a welcome experience.
J. W.
Great. Got everything we needed
G. B.
Pretty much if you want it they have it lol
J. C.
Roy’s was recommended as a great place to go but I was a bit disappointed. It was just a department store with average prices, with another market style Roy’s clothes shop opposite with a Mac Donald’s alongside. There’s a couple of Roys toy shops and a garden centre, so Roy’s clearly owns most of the town. Worth a visit if you’re short of something to do with some very nice looking places to eat around the marina.

Excellent shop's, highly recommend a visit, have visited the last two years whilst on holiday in the area, (may/june) I did all my christmas shopping in there.
The garden centre is well worth s visit, I purchased very good plants whilst there (they travelled well over a hundred miles in the car). They have looked beautiful all summer. There pet section is worth a visit pet toys at very good prices and very good quality.

If you are in Wroxham in Norfolk this is a must shop to pop in to. Roys of Wroxham has been going a long time now I use to go there with my mum and dad when I was a kid. And now I take my kid's there when we go to Wroxham for day trip's. They sell all the normal stuff that you would find in any Roys and much, much more. This is a very busy Roys and even more so in the summer time. They have a nice big car park / carparking for the customer's but in the summer time it can be hard to get a spot. The staff are always friendly and welcoming so that's good. The store for the most part is all way's nice and clean and tidy, so that's good. Acoss the road they have a supermarket for shopping / food Hall, but their price's are a bit high on most thing's. As this is a very, very busy town. They have a garden centre too but last time I was in their they did not have much in, which is a shame. Roys of Wroxham is right on the river (Norfolk Broads) that is really nice to walk down, or hire a boat and go down it. Me and my family have done just that and at the end called in to Roys of Wroxham to have a look around. Me and my family give it a five star all round *****.
S. P.
It's not called the worlds largest village store for nothing
T. B.
Nice store, good quality products, and really pleasent staff
R. h.
Really good store we have driven past it many times when in Norfolk and decided to stop off and have a look around. A city department store in a small country town, fantastic choice all at reasonable prices well worth a visit.
J. A.
Usually able to get most things from one of the Roy's buildings in Hoveton. Recently some things have been unavailable in the department store, claimed by the staff on supply problems caused by covid 19.
M. S.
Roy's of wroxham never lets me down always seem to get everything I'm looking for. The staff are very accommodating nothing is too much trouble. Simply the best xx
N. C.
Great store, all thebest "Brand Names" but none of the city aggravation, well organised for the current situation and greatprices to boot
P.
Great department store with a variety of products. A large collection of clothes and shoes upstairs with household items on both floors. Good pharmacy too.
B. R.
Always got a very good stock and at good prices
J. E.
Some good ideas for Christmas presents

Well you would not believe how much fun I have had shopping at Roy's today, the servers were great, could not have helped me more, even when my father in law was wrecking the joint, and I wanted the largest picture in the shop with no price tag and caused a commotion on the tills, these girls took it in there stride and had a blast, the store is great they have everything and the staff will almost do the shopping for you. Loved it.
D. C.
Lovely coffee and fruit scone in cafe .
Good selection of produce in the food hall
D. F.
We got all the Christmas presents we needed to get at a good price. Social distance was good we'll worth the trip.

Roys of Wroxham is one of the best shopping towns in Norfolk. They've got it right! Very good prices, wide selection of goods, well chosen quality stock. Also Love shopping at the food store, fresh produce and a relaxed atmosphere, some food prices may be a little more but worth the shopping experience. ♡ Friendly and very helpful mannered staff. Today my mum felt unwell and had to have first aid assistance at Roys store, all staff most helpful and caring, carried our bags to the car. Thank you very much ♡♡ ...mum is OK now.

Surely the best toy shop in E Anglia. Such choice and range for ages 0-big kids! Found pocket money stuff and lovely birthday presents. Not what you’d expect to find tucked away in. Norfolk village. Worth a detour or stopover on the boat if you’re cruising the Broads.
a.
This place is very unusual, Roys seem to have about a third of the stores in Wroxham. The department store is a bonus in a town/village of this size and seems well stocked. Amazingly there is a good sized car park with decent disabled parking and access. So from just one visit I give 4 stars.
a. B.
Very nice ! Lovely kitchen department.and good quality ! A nice range of different products.plenty of room to walk around shop ! and escalators upstairs to more departments.! Will visit again.
D. H.
Great and easy parking, top brands, helpful and knowledgeable staff, excellent food hall and massive choice of beers and wines🍷
J. S.
Nice little independent store. Great for gifts, bargains and stuff you don't find in your usual chains. Friendly, helpful staff.
V. J.
Everything you need all near by and fab parking 👍👍👍👍
E. H.
Not that great sometimes
I went In there one day and was looking a P.E
Bag for my little girl.
It was back to school items in there no P.E bag.Tried Roy's Children's Clothes Shop
Nd they didn't have any.
The staff really weren't that helpful
So I came home Just getting some Paint for my girl instead
And trying to get a Family Picture Frame in Roy's is impossible they didn't have much of a Selection.
W. N.
Good all round store
C. X.
1st time I've visited in almost 40 yrs !! Even more amazing ... whatever you want , even if you didn't know it ... you'll find it at Roys !! Great staff ...even a McDonald's now, that's odd .

Roys is a very traditional (read slightly old fashioned) department store run by very friendly and helpful staff selling a wide range of goods. The prices are a little high but quality is good on the whole. Roys own several different shops dominating the whole of Wroxham, giving them quite a unique position and competitive advantage.
l. h.
Good shopping experience. Nice to have everything your shopping for in one ares.
R. O.
Super shop dominating the High Street in quiet little Wroxham.
Some great quality merchandise...
A. L.
A definite stop for us every time we travel up to Norfolk.
A proper Aladdin's cave where I honestly think you can get anything!
Saves a trip into Norwich for us which as nice as Norwich is isn't a bad thing
R. C.
Excellent shop with great parking
R. S.
Looks more modern cos the gave it a facelift. You can get most stuff there, in general a good department store. They've gone wrong with the fashion dept on first floor. They sell loads of hoodies, the only trouble is their customers are mainly middle aged so nobody buying them. Prices there a bit steep even for t-shirts. Most middle aged customers don't want designer t-shirts
A. H.
Everything you need is here.Staff are extremely polite, friendly and helpful
G. W.
Excellent shopping. Many departments. Extremely helpful staff.
D. L.
Purchased everything I went for and at reasonable prices. Staff very helpful.
G. S.
Think woolworths and then add more money onto prices lol. Staff are OK, layout of the store is a bit all over the place. Carpark is like a maze.
A. B.
Excellent as always.
A great shop to visit when on the Norfolk Broads at Wroxham, or if passing through.
Lovely department store, household, clothing, toys & garden.
I. D.
Garden Centre was good but supermarket wasn't, very down at heel and grubby
S. F.
Excellent Christmas decorations and good prices. Staff very friendly particularly the lady on the till.
g. c.
Excellent shopping centre Roys with wide range of goods from fresh meat, fish and fruit and veg vegetables to household items, cosmetics, perfumes, china, clothing etc. The store has ample parking close to the shops.
S. J.
Great store and wide range of products and friendly. Helpful staff and clear covid parameters in place
G. H.
Always friendly staff.
J. W.
A good retail experience at Roy's with pretty much everything you could need. It won't ever be the cheapest but with free parking and the broads close by it offers a unique visitor experience.
T. C.
Friendly staff. Not too busy. Plenty of choice
D. F.
Exceptional service from the staff in the shoes department.
E. W.
Wide range of stock and the shop has a unique feel to it that you don't get in a national chain. Some products feel a bit outdated, but kitchen equipment is good for students.
A. S.
Roy's IS Wroxham, there is no escaping this lot but to be fair the overall experience isn't bad. My only criticism would be the price in the food hall for fresh produce may be due to the customer being lazy and not going elsewhere when they can get everything from toys to fashion & groceries within meters of eachother.
C. S.
Got some gifts staff polite and helpful
p. b.
A lovely well stocked shop, friendly staff, got some great bargains in the sale.
A. C.
Lots of choice and great value. Well stocked supermarket and an incredibly good toy shop. I often shop here in preference to going into the city as i can normally find everything I want right here
P. M.
It's true to say that if you try major supermarkets and it's out of the ordinary the chances are they won't have it/ never stocked it etc.... Roys on the other hand will be able to help!
Always a stop of on a search, never failed me yet!
S.
I was quite surprised. Half decent men's clothing section with brands such as O'Neill and SuperDry available and there were a few sale items that were genuine bargains. Large store with several departments. Worth a gander.
S. J.
Has to be the worst signed lunchtime meal deal I have ever seen. Even the staff could not figure it out when called over. Co-Op should just take over the store and sign it properly.
E. H.
Love Roy's between all the Roy's stores you can get everything you need
V. Z.
Lovely selection of items for sale. Well worth a look as I can mostly find items that other stores don't have.
R. B.
Store nice place to spend an hour plenty to see and good variety. However if you still have at 45 minutes to spare go for a coffee in Roys café service so slow unbelievable and not many smiling faces behind counter probably not staff fault so understaffed and as this place gets very busy extra service counter needed
D. M.
Good value and service
L. P.
A good Department Store with most things you'd be needing.
K. P.
Great traditional department store. The North Walsham branch is excellent too, friendly, helpful staff.
T. (.
Brilliant independent stores
A. L.
fantastic brands, great quality times in the main store. fab toy shop you can be in there ages. the kiddies clothes shop has some great bargains x
C. A.
Roys of Wroxham is the world's biggest corner shop in the world it has everything from kitchenware so stylish clothes has a toy shop and if you go down the road you'll find his corner fish and chip shop is to die for need a bridge McDonald's and the toy shop the place is very clean and tidy everybody is polite in should we work there is toilets in the canteen
P. B.
Always a good selection of items in Department Store and good local produce in supermarket. What's not to like?
N. T.
Wonderful department store, but clothing to expensive
K. O.
It's one of the main features of Wroxham (even if it's actually in Hoveton) and between the supermarket, amazing toy shop and the department store you can get pretty much anything you need. The cookware section is fabulous.
T. G.
A very large store with a lot of difference merchandise
B. T.
Still a good store but lacks the variety and charm of the old store. Markets mainly to visitors now and is more like a glorified gift shop. Still worth a visit in arguably the capital of the broads.
J. G.
If your going to Norfolk and Roy's is a must it has everything I am well impressed with the service I get I have never been disappointed with the range of products, they also have a supermarket across the road that sells everything you could wish for
B. J.
Always buy something when visiting this store. Carry a vast amount of quality clothes and shoes.
G. R.
My wife could not believe the selection of radley handbags and purses the shop Had on display possibly one of the largest displays of radley bags we have ever seen,
Roys virtually stock everything you could possibly need if not in the main store then over the road you have the grocery store and down the road you have the roys McDonald's and if that's not enough you have the Roy's toys
H. D.
Like many things parts of Wroxham this is Roy's. They have a big car park which is free to use and plenty of shops for all you holiday needs
F. C.
Brilliant store first time there.
J. H. (. H.
its a great little department store in the heart of Hoverton you can everything from both shops. It's worth a visit for people who like to spend!
S. B.
Not sure who Roy is (was) but he's done very well for himself as he seems to have a monopoly on all the shops in town.
They're nothing special for all that though. Worth a visit if you've never been but once you been there's no real need to go again.
A. W.
Key cutting service very quick and the keys worked! You can't say that for some cutters.
R. C.
Clean tidy , good selection of stock at reasonable prices
P. R.
Very impressed with my visit to Roy's of Wroxham today. Good choice of budget and quality goods
M. L.
Great if you visit the various roys shops in Wroxham, there is dept store, DIY store, supermarket (very good for local produce), cafe, McDonald's, toy shop, kid's clothes shop. Prices are hit & miss, some bargains, some pricey.
R. W.
Fascinating historical area with a mix of types of stores. It's a well known retail centre and cafe. Services locals, tourists and river users.
D. C.
Lovely staff, very helpful. Value for money. Like the kitchen department, lots of gadgets.
L. H.
Excellent shopping facilities in Wroxham. Probably all you will ever need.
S. L.
Very old fashion place give it a miss
M. G.
Amazing Place for a village, worth a visit if you are in the area.
