The care,patience, knowledgeable advice given by Alistair was second to none and I have dealt with many audio consultants in the country over the last 15 years.He provides nothing less than the care a family member would give. His focus was on me ,my system and listening requirements. I was also assisted by Dan when Alistair was away who was very helpful. This is an exceptional company.

Have been using oxford Audio for over 15 years, I wanted a new system so it was the only place I would go to. Jon is still the owner, but new staff. All as good and helpful as Jon. Totally trustworthy and very knowledgeable. Helped me spend far two many £££££, but enjoyed it. Can't be that bad as I have now spent more £££££ a week later. (should have listened to Jon 1st time). Fantastic product, fantastic staff and the best service in the industry. Thank you team, I am loving my new system.

Great selection of products and listening facilities and knowledgeable staff, with some lovely demo stations. Dan in particular there provided an extremely friendly and patient service over two days that I visited the store, even offering hot drinks whilst testing out some products. Would highly recommend for anybody looking for audio gear.

A great choice of the very best high end hi-fi equipment. The team are not remotely dogmatic - I find they listen carefully and tailor their advice very carefully to what suits me best. The truly outstanding feature of Oxford Audio, however, is the personal aftercare. I have found time after time that whatever needs or question I have they spring into action to do whatever is necessary; I can't recommend them highly enough

I have been buying hi fi equipment from OAC for years and their service, commitment and attention to detail is second to none. My latest experience concerned the Muso Cube 2nd Gen which I had to return due to a technical fault. They replaced it without any fuss on the day I returned it to the shop. Another example of their fantastic 'customer first' service. Thank you OAC team!

Ordered a turntable and the personal shopping experience was excellent from all involved. Will recommend this shop to anyone who needs audio equipment in the future. Update Turntable was lost by courier DPD (not the shops fault) and so they very kindly offered me an upgraded model at no extra charge. I have been very happy with the service received and would purchase from them again (this was an online / on the phone experience, I did not visit the shop).

I went along with my husband as he wanted to go primarily and we were already there to register our daughter's birth. He seemed happy with the selection of headphones, and the young man at the counter promptly picked up on me not really wanting to be there, and offered a seat and a tea, and then assisted my husband. He was obviously very knowledgeable, so five stars for excellent customer service

We visited recently as we needed some help with a pair of headphones, and we were delighted with the outcome. You don't get better service than you do with these guys. Every time we visit Oxford Audio, they are always friendly, welcoming and interested in discussing our requirements, from a 50p fuse, right through to a pair of super high end speakers. Their knowledge is second to none and nothing is too much trouble for them. Oxford is really lucky to have a business like this as part of its retail offering. Well done Oxford Audio!

I have had two demos in Oxford Audio, and have made two purchases. The first was of some headphones, as I was thinking about ditching speakers and going for a fully headphone-based setup. But I was not impressed with any headphones, even the very top end stuff, so stuck with speakers. The second demo was of ATC speakers, which I bought there and then, and have been very happy with. We also bought a turntable from them. But... the customer service is very hit and miss. I tried telephoning on a Friday to arrange a demo once, thinking I'd upgrade my amplifier, and whilst somebody answered, they told me they were busy and would rather not talk about it on the phone then as they were setting up for a weekend event! So I then tried emailing with the same enquiry about possibly upgrading my stereo amp, and nobody ever replied. Finally I went in, and was recommended a Rega amp (which I'd never heard of but, after going away and researching it, retails at many multiples of my ATC speakers), and was offered a home demo when the amp came back in store. They said they'd telephone me the next day to confirm and... surprise surprise, the call never came. I get the distinct impression this is a store only interested in customers wanting to spend megabucks and everybody else is either tolerated or ignored.

I wouldn’t waste my time, or that of others, to post a review unless I thought it was thoroughly deserved and may help someone else in their search for first-rate customer service. Read on... Given that good personal service appears to be a novelty in the UK, it can be difficult to come by nowadays; however, the team at Oxford Audio Consultants deserve a call-out in this respect for their first-class service. I have always found the team extremely helpful, knowledgeable and passionate about all things audio. I would like to pass on my thanks to Alisdair and Dan for attending to my requirements and steering me towards audio bliss and can’t recommend Oxford Audio highly enough. If you’re looking to enhance your listening experience give the team a call or drop-in. You won’t be disappointed.

Made a fairly quick decision to listen to some speakers and despite being late as usual OAC were very helpful. After a nice coffee, an hours listening and a home demo I bought a pair of ATC SCM11s. Don't always make good decisions but did this time! Completely in love with these great speakers. Made in England too. Chuffed. Thanks.

Earlier in 2018, I was in the market for an integrated amplifier. I tried various models at home, borrowed from dealers in London. I contacted Oxford Audio Consultants to listen to a couple of valve integrated amplifiers at their store. My daughter and I were welcomed by Dan. The demonstration was well setup, with the amplifiers installed and warmed up prior to the demo. Coffee was offered. After the demo, I decided to borrow one of the amplifiers for a home audition. The amplifier was quickly packed up, and I took it home after paying a deposit. I decided to buy the amplifier - PrimaLuna Dialogue Premium integrated. The order was fulfilled efficiently, but on opening the packaging, I noticed only one valve cage (the amplifier should have come with two). Dan apologised, and another valve cage was couriered very quickly. The amplifier was purchased in June 2018. It works beatifully in my system - Sonus Faber Concertos, Copland 266, Rega P3-24, Edwards Audio Phono Stage, with Kimber and Transparent cable. The service provided by Dan and Oxford Audio Consultants has been faultless. I am a happy customer, who will consider purchasing from them again.

I just wanted to say what a great 4 hours I have just had today Alistar and Dan where quite simply the best and most attentive throughout my visit I was given coffee plentiful and alistar had given me some toffee cake his wife had made delicious I have been a regular customer of Jon who owns OXFORD AUDIO for over 20 years and through all that time all customer contact staff have been very informative and curtious Jons ethics at OXFORD AUDIO has always been customer comes first that is so true as many other shops offering such a range of HIFI have gone to the wall OXFORD AUDIO has survived, while many other businesses have gone to the wall OXFORD AUDIO HAS been run by Jon And his dedicated team FOR OVER 30 years Weither you spending a little or a lot is of no significance as I started spending a little in the early days to a system now that I thought I would never spend this time round is was a choice or CAR or HIFI DAN who I must mention gave his mobile phone number came in on his day off THIS MONDAY to set up my final system that have now decided to buy , I would just like to say that is TRUE dedication not just on his part for everyone who works for JON whenever I go in feels like a family atmosphere. Sorry DAN I will delete your number now ! I am now approaching my 60th b day next year and with all this new digital technology. Which is really interesting. I find getting my head round it all quite difficult this is no problem to DAN he spells things out so easily and what a wealth of knowledge he has and is so into hifi it is pleasure to chat every time I’m in. I am sure that most times I outstay my welcome but assured at all times it’s our pleasure I even joked to JON and said to him I am not a big spender as OXFORD AUDIO has a massive range and stock, but JON said to me you are a true valued customer who is true enthusiast I think I have said enough but I have such a great today of music chat etc etc and best of all DAN and ALISTAR are coming out to me to enstall my new HIFI system I CANT WAIT thanks again to everyone at OXFORD AUDIO I have my HIFI mojo back now for what has been a very hard year for me Thank you for the music oh sorry HIFI too Regards michael

This place is full of brilliant audio equipment and the staff is very friendly which is always a good thing. They will allow you to try out equipment even if you are not ready to purchase it.
