Love the bargains in here. Didn't check it out but they are offering frozen foods now .Have eaten here plenty of times, wasn't so impressed today, a very long wait , was told the food had been previously cooked ,frozen and reheated. Salad( looked like it came pre prepared from a bag) was not all fresh.

Nice and cheap, good for some Xmas presents, you can now get frozen foods in there as well, the cafe isn't too bad, staff are ok maybe they need a bit of an uplift to appear happy.

This is a very large discount shop, with a good selection of items of various types, many of which are name brands. There is also a reasonable size garden centre adjacent - it's not huge, but it's pleasing to see that the plants are well cared for, unlike in many supermarkets etc. We will go again next time we're in Peterborough. And I forgot to add that the staff are helpful and friendly!

One of the worst retail experiences you'll, erm, experience. However sometimes there are things you need you can't find anywhere else, or are just cheaper here. Really scraping the extremes of the gene pool in both customers and staff. I inwardly cringe when I hear one of the cashiers pick up the tannoy. Every one of them sounds like they're at the end of a 16-hour shift and would rather be anywhere other than this (as would anyone with sanity and good taste)

I didn't go there specifically to shop. I happened to be in the neighbourhood and decided to check it out. It's not a bad place to go shopping. The majority of the items are reasonably priced, and the best part is that parking is free. Almost all of your necessities can be found there. The parking spaces are generously spaced. If you can't find what you're looking for, there are other stores nearby, such as Coop, Greggs, and a man selling fresh fruits and vegetables down a side alleyway. The check-out staff were pleasant and courteous.

Brilliant variety of products from gardening to household products via clothing and food. All of this at cheap prices. They even have a range of furniture. DIY, storage, nice selection of cards, drawing pads and activity books, outdoor toys, beers, plants, decorations, pets range, etc.... We love it!

It's an amazing place for any small bits and pieces that you may need around the house or garden, they also sell men's and women's clothing at a reasonable price, the staff are so kind and helpful as they can tell you where you can find you specific item you're looking for, I personally would go there everyday Apart from a good shop. They also sell chandeliers which may be small but it's still quite charming. I highly recommend coming here for the essentials and anything that may catch your eye. I hope I've helped out, ☺️

A very large 'discount store' selling a wide range of goods including - foods, clothes for all the family, toy and games, furniture, seasonal goods, arts and crafts, pictures and picture frames, DIY goods, pet supplies, kitchen goods, bedding, curtains and blinds, candles etc, dry flowers. There is also a range of garden goods incl plants, pts, building materials. This qd also has a cafe!

When choosing some furniture we were assisted by Dana who was extremely helpful and had a cheerful manner. The order was placed on a Saturday and we took delivery by the Wednesday. Unfortunately one of the pieces of furniture had a mark on it. When I rang Dana she arranged for a replacement very quickly, which we received by the Friday. The Delivery drivers were also very helpful and even took away all of the packaging. Excellent customer service all round.

The store has a well managed system for entry and checkout and plenty of room inside. The cafeteria is clean and comfortable with waitress service. A good store trying hard to manage the restrictions.

The shop has great bargains and you can get most of what you want cheap. But one of the downsides being that when staff need assistance at the tills it takes a while for assistance to arrive. The cafe is nice but you may have to wait a while depending on how busy it is, like any other cafe. The only real downside is that it is a bit dimly lit, it would have been alot nicer if it was a bit more bright. Overall QD is a great shop and the cafe is nice but it does need a few improvements here and there, it could do better.

I'm never sure if these discount stores are really cheaper as they sell funny sized packets, buy it invariably has food that you don't see in normal supermarkets, so if nothing else it's a bit of variety.

This review is for the café. Cafe is lovely and clean and had some lovely looking cakes on offer! I went for a decaf coffee and a homemade scone. You could tell it was homemade as it had loads of raisins in and was delicious with some butter on. Coffee and cake for about £3.75, bargain!

My Family have happily shopped at QD Orton for many years but today I ain't very happy, I arrived at the store at 4-30 and was turned away with 4 or 5 other shoppers at the door we were told it was closed. That is an hour before the official time of 5-30pm and had driven 14 miles for nothing except the cost to me of fuel and time. WARNING Although closing is 5-30 get there at 4-00pm to save a wastes trip Grrrrrr :-((

Personally the day staff can be very rude and can judge you. The quality is not the best.i know people dont like working but when your serving people try and be nice and leave your problems at home. Easier said than done. The cafe is fab though. The layout of the store is ridiculous things are always getting changed and the displays look tacky. We have been lucky to have Quality Discount and B&M stores very close to our place. As we have moved in recently, the discount store has proved its worth when setting up a new house. They have almost home, kitchen, bathroom and outdoor stuff. There's a loyalty card discount, which I haven't used much. There's a cafe within the premise with a (very) small play area for the 2 - 3 year olds. There have a variety of garden stuff with a garden centre outdoor. The store gives a tough competition to another discount supermart B&M next door. The area has alot of parking spaces as this is small shopping arena. A starbucks and a co-op petrol station nearby.
