Knowledgeable people. Small premises. If it's busy at opening just go to the nice Wetherspoons nearby. Bought a pair of excellent JBL speakers rather than replacing a radio that Currys wanted £60.00 just to look at.

The guys in store were really helpful and explained any questions I had. With the deals they had on I purchased a tv and sound bar. The only problem was when I asked to pay using Klarna 0% for 3 months as advertised. The guys processed it but the only options that came up on the system was 6 months and longer plus interest. I still purchased the products without Klarna but the advertised service was not correct.

Purchased a couple of Grado headphones from Richer Sounds Preston before Christmas and can honestly say the service in store was amazing, when it comes to buying audio equipment being able to hear them before purchase is really important, especially when spending a reasonable sum of money. The colleague we dealt with has no hesitation in cracking open a box for us to try in their demo room. There was no hard sell and it was clear that the staff were enthusiasts meaning that they gave us free reign to let the products speak for themselves. I went in to try but their atmosphere and enthusiasm meant that I left with a purchase! Keep up the great work guys!

Why would you shop anywhere else? Regular customer here and always impressed with the customer service. Rang up at the weekend enquiring about a product, spoke to Howie who gave me an in-depth review of the product. I asked quite a specific technical question which he answered but also said he'd check it on the in-store demo model and ring me back to clarify, and left me an answer phone message which expertreviews would have been happy with.

During this pandemic currently the store is appointment only. I called and spoke to store manager Howie where we discussed my requirements and budget. Over the phone he quickly knew what my best options would be within my budget. Gave me an hour slot appointment to visit the store that afternoon. Upon arrival I was greeted by deputy manager James who already knew the items I was looking at having clearly had a chat with Howie. I often use Richer Sounds Preston whenever I want Hi Fi or TV related products. Each time I use them I am always so pleased I did; they have a good range of products, sound advice and experience of both their own products as well as the tekky side of things. Most of all I value the people who work there, they are so friendly and helpful, always finding time to speak with you and never failing to deliver on a promise to call back. As well as this excellent customer service they also have the necessary product knowledge and also a good amount of technological knowledge of the type of products they sell whether this be an OLED TV or a simple speaker cable. They may not have everything in stock all the time but can get hold of products quickly and call as soon as it is availabable in store, not only that they will help you take the products to your car as well, oh and did I say that you don’t pay anything until you collect these items. Can't fault the staff here. Fantastic knowledge throughout the team and if it's not their specialist area they're happy to admit it and direct you to another member of staff who does. Recently trialled the Technics sl-1500c turntable and purchased, excellent turntable. Trialled the all new Cambridge CX80 Amplifier but didn't like it and went for another NAD, this time the C368 hybrid, they didn't hold that against me though🤣 Then wasn't satisfied with my Monitor Audio Bronze 2s so trialled the Oberon 5 floorstanders, wow, bought them too. Special thanks to Sam for his patience and understanding.

I went to richer sound in Preston to look at Tv's which the Preston store has but why I'm writing this is because their customer service is outstanding they couldn't be more helpful and very very friendly they understand the needs of people so they make it so easy. richer sounds is a must if you need tv's and more they out class other stores and all staff are the same very good at what they do before you go any where see these guys . the store manager Howie was fantastic very helpful and very kind which as Im disable is very hard to find but all the staff are great . What can I say, the team at Richer Sounds are fantastic. Over the years I have bought 5 Big TVs a Sonos system, tablet and earphones. I always receive the best advice and am often steered away from my original thoughts / ideas to a wiser often cheaper option. The team have fantastic product knowledge and will always go the extra mile to provide you with solid advice with no pressure. To be honest, I would not go anywhere else. Howie even came up to my house to demo the Sonos and show how it would work in my current set-up, now that is personal service! Next plan is a projector..but don't tell the wife..

having visited the store to have a demonstration of a new spec tv which is accessable for the blind , I have to say that I was more then impressed with the level of service we reiceved. Howie (manager) spent over a hour showing us the tv and all its funcations without all the pressures of a hard sell. his manner and approach sold the product to us as he was able to show us that the tv was in fact for us. he even price matched without any fuss and we got a lolly at the end of it :P Thanks for all the time and care you spent with us you really made the experince second to non. it was such a big spend for us and needed to know that the product was fit for purpose you made it very easy for us and your nothing too much trouble apporach. cheer guys see you when next time we need some more tech

Well I have been a customer for the past 10 years buying TV'S, AV RECEIVER'S AND SPEAKER SET UPS, I recently purchased a new slimline amp to replace the old Yamaha receiver that did me well for years. The Marantz was recommended as I wanted a slim line and for the past 6 months was working great, great sound great functionality and looked great UNTIL a firmware update (I know this is not associated with RICHER SOUNDS but this is) after the update the Marantz Nr1506 started to revert to the Audyssey setup and everything I did would no solve the problem. Been in touch with the manufacturers and they advised to take back to the supplier as this was a hardware problem, I phoned last week and was advised to wait until the Christmas rush had been and was told it would be a waste of time returning because it could take 3-5 weeks for the repair to be done. Come on RICHER SOUNDS the receiver is not 12 months old and surely there is somthing you could do to get this sorted before Christmas and let us enjoy the great sound this Marantz has to offer.

I cannot speak highly enough of the team at Richer Sounds in Preston. It is a round trip of 80 miles from my house to the store, and I pass many places on the way that also do AV equipment - I am happy to go that extra mile because evey member in this store are happy to do that for their customers. I have gained so much knowledge from them after seeing demo's and also talking to them for what must amount to hours on end, yet at no point do they try and 'sell' something or make you feel you are taking too much of their time. Whether I am happy or otherwise with a business I NEVER write online reviews, but my latest experience with Richer Sounds (Preston) compelled me to do so. I ordered a Sonos Playbar (which I would highly recommend) and there were many issues with the delivery firm (too many to mention (even for just one item! (and the delivery firm were NOT Richer Sounds)). The end result was that Howie, the store manager, arranged a personal courier to bring it to my house on Saturday lunchtime; special thanks to Matt for bringing the Playbar, and not just delivery; he was very professional, polite and helpful. I only started using Richer Sounds (Preston) in May 2013 yet have spoken to Howie, Dave, Darren and Rosa - each and everyone providing exceptional service (I look forward to dealing with the rest of the team for future purchases - which no doubt there will be plenty). A common theme in this day and age is to use the expertise of people like this, and then go away and source an item on the internet in order to save a few quid - let me tell you now, there is no need when it comes to your AV needs, the team at Richer Sounds (Preston) will always do a deal - so thats service that is of the highest level AND competitve pricing (and I honestly believe they beat all online stores). Sorry for the long winded review but these guys deserve every credit.
