Not much you can't buy from their people...like a new age Woolworths, great for homewares, craft supplies, Pet and garden supplies and loads more. I call for the great range of picture and photo frames in a vast range of styles and sizes at ridiculously cheap prices. Our local branch also has a small garden centre selling plants, sheds, compost etc. This place can save you petrol going round 3 or 4 different shops.

Large, busy store with plenty of stuff for every eventuality. Halloween and Christmas were on show when I visited. It even has an small outdoor garden section and a cafe for people exhausted by searching all the many aisles for that thing they wanted.

I love the range!!! So much choice! Really big and all set out so everything is fairly easy to find but the staff are great and helpful anyway! We totally transformed a teenage bedroom and apart from the furniture everything was from the range so affordable.

A good value shop with plenty to look around. Craft area is great value and top brands. Lighting section has plenty of choice at reasonable prices. Gardening section is not very big on plants but everything else for the garden is here. Good storage ideas. DIY area including items for decorating, car, general tools. Pets food etc. Seasonal section. Bedding and sewing material. Plus lots more. Toilet just inside the entrance. Disabled parking just near the entrance.

Store looked a mess, stock everywhere, I understand they have to change stock around (christmas), but surely there's a better way, I found it quite hard to get around the store with a trolley.

I can't believe I walked 3hours around a housewares store.😂I spent the longest time in the first column with a lot of stationery. It's really a great housewares store, and if you like acrylic paintings, you can come here and buy a lot of paint. There are a lot of arts here, and I bought a picture frame at a very cheap price. To my surprise, a large part of the area is for pets.There are many dog and cat clothes and their food.Collars，bowls，belts…You can buy anything you need for a pet here. Generally speaking, the price is not very expensive.And the large supermarket here is very good, next to it is Audi.And a big toy store.Even next to the Costa , can also go shopping tired to eat. Overall, this is a great place to come, if you need household items, kitchen items and even flowers and pet items ，you shouldn't have missed this place .At last I forgot to say，the service of the shop assistant is also very good.I went early in the morning, before opening the door, but I said I wanted to go in first, and they agreed.They smile every time when they see me，it makes me feel warm and happy. I hope you also have a pleasant shopping experience here😉

Absolutely love this shop! I could spend a fortune every visit! They have beautiful house decor that at times looks unique & unusual at bargain prices. I can get lost in the lighting section for ages it's so beautiful! And there's now the Costa cafe within the shop for you to catch a breath between exploring areas. The art supplies section is impressive for both beginners & practiced artists. I've never had to que long at checkout & staff ive met are always very friendly & helpful. Could definitely lose yourself in there entering a world of sparkly & amazing goods!

Good store for bargains, only thing that let it down was the so-called cafe, one of the two cafe staff, was bordering on rude to customers, it's not the customers fault if there is no beans on toast, but do the member of staff to utter comments about customers leaves a lot to be desired, one must seriously look into their ability to do the job, she's paid to do. It was the big lass on the till.

Very nice stock but rude staff. Told on entering SANITISE HANDS i always sanitise my hands before and after leaving shops I don't need to be shouted at.Maybe told there was sanitiser if I required it. No please or thankyou hardly looked away from his phone. Plenty staff filling shelves walking about no social distancing expecting customers to move for them. Not enough staff on tills. Very nice polite young man on today's till though.

It was very busy when I arrived, which did my anxiety no favours. However, this is not the responsibility of The Range. The store was clean and tidy, despite a slight refurbishment which, when completed, will house a cafe for customers. I unfortunately didn't find the product I was looking for, however they had a very good range of other products from the same brand. So I decided to buy those instead. The staff at check out were very chatty and building a rapport, which is always fantastic. Overall, a great experience.

The Range Preston is a good place to shop. There is free parking and disability access. There is someone counting how many people enter the shop for social distancing so it is easy to get around inside. The shop is well stocked and it was the only place that I managed to get a 2021 diary from after trying so many other shops. The only downfall was that the hand baskets where dirty, or looked dirty so I didnt use one and had to pile my shopping up in my arms. Therefore, it limited what I could buy. Get them jet washed or something please!

Love this place as it's got so much variety for different things you need. My favourite dept is the gardening section. Nice plants at great prices and very good condition. Stone chipping for planter toppers or decorating beds, lawns edges or just to add a modern twist.

Amazing place and one of my faves and I can spend hours in here but only allowed 3 on the carpark. Whoever owns the carpark needs to put the hours up because iff you want to have a look around the range and then need to shop in aldi then 3 hours is nowhere near enough.

We found the product we wanted to buy (A small outside bin) was damaged a long with the others on sale which was disappointing and no others were in stock. It's okay equal part useful stuff to equal part useless tat. Its layout does seem to be stuck in the 70s and they seem to live by the ethos more is more as the store is very cramp with as much shelving as possible so they can cram the stock in. Also every time I've been in the checkout area looks like a jumble sale has just happened as there has always been a fully ladled trolley full of stock rammed in one trolley aisle. Anyway all that said we got what we went in for and then thought nothing more about the store until this review reminder came up so the epitome of okay.

What a great shop, everything you need for the home, mirrors, pictures, ornaments, lighting and wallpaper etc. To go with all the choice are some very good prices. I did have a problem with some wallpaper, got refunds for returned unopened paper but had to contact the manufacturer and the issues I had with what I had put on the wall already. Will be going back in to have a look at getting a different wallpaper..

Didn't queue too long to get in, and had plenty of stock apart from paddling pools and lazy spas. A biggish Range shop, loads of parking although it's a 2 hour limit I think. Handy little retail park with Smyth's, a Costa, Aldi and Food Warehouse.

My 'go to' place for nearly all my crafting needs. My only problem here is that I go in with a modest little shopping list and come out with a huge trolley full!!! I also buy all my picture frames and shadow boxes here and of course at Christmas time this is an absolute must for presents in all the many other departments! A tiny bit chaotic at the moment due to enlargement and refurb, but that's a small price to pay! Great helpful staff and easy access for wheelchairs, make shopping a pleasure! It's also opposite an Aldi store, a Costa Coffee shop, a trampoline centre, and much more, all housed on a retail park with a huge free carpark situated a few minutes walk to the bus station and the town centre.

Excited children wandered through all the light displays loving every minute! Lots of Raymond Briggs snowman decorations. But only a few types of the projector lights for outside some had sold out so a little disappointing, but we'll know for next year to be early. At least there were some great reduced price advent calendars so we bagged one of those ready for next year!

I love the Range, more so now the Preston one has finally finished the garden and outdoor section! I know some people hate the thought of cheaper shops, crammed with as much stuff as you can fit to the ceiling, but actually the Range are punching with the likes of Wilko and B&M in terms of brand name items vs.. cheaper non brands. The stores tend to be laid out differently to each other but comprise of the same sections. I particularly like the Range for it's selection of arts and crafts items, if you haven't got a hobby craft or a staples, the Range is the next best place for getting school/college/art supplies. The pet section is another reason I go to the range. When I had hamsters and rabbits I would be in on a regular basis collecting sawdust/hay/food/treats and it was competitively priced. Since I now have 2 cats I don't use it so much for food but for accessories. The toys are makes like Rosewood/Good girl/PetStages which are good manufacturers, as well as the JML items you see occasionally on TV. I don't have a dog but the section for them is big and the dog beds for larger dogs look great. Kitchen and Laundry is well stocked with Addis / Curver / Minky items to name a few. A good selection of electrical goods is always available and the Range like to mimick the latest fashion trends so you will see rose gold, copper, red, black, glitter kettles, toasters, kitchen utensils, drainerware etc.. you can pretty much kit out your entire kitchen/bathroom in one style or colour without going to another store! The same applies to the homeware section, every colour cushion, duvet, light, throw, wallpaper is in there, normally in colour coded sections. The new cafe and garden section are towards the back of the store and house a small seating area and selection of outdoor/garden equipment and plants. They have some larger furniture for the garden on display as well as water features, BBQ, firepits and I'm sure I saw an Intex jacuzzi! The plants were a little frazzled when I had a look at them, they all needed a good watering, but they did have a nice selection of baskets looking a bit healthier. I'll be here forever if I talk about all the sections but I've also had items from DIY/decorating/automotive/lighting/bathroom/tableware that have all been good value for money. The Range is open until late in the week, I recommend going after 6pm if you dislike busy times. At that time you can wander around happily but the stock might be out waiting for replenishment so if you can't see something you want, you'll have to ask staff to check stock. Like I said, it's not for everyone but I like it as it's easy to get everything in one place.
