Clean, tidy and organised store. Plenty of parking, but keep an eye on the time as the car park owners give you 2 hours. Try to avoid coming out at peak times as the roads get very contested near the station. Pricing can be very hit and miss, and therefore frustrating, although the till team are happy to check the price before you buy.

The store has had a major refresh and looks really good. Bit confusing at first but is great yo have more options available ready for the summer. My only issue is that the tills are always empty so takes a while to get through them.

Plenty of stuff and variety of goods to purchase. A great store with free parking and shopping on two floors full of goodies and all the household stuff u could imagine. There’s also a small coffee shop upstairs. It’s quite difficult to find an assistant on the shop floors to ask any question. The staff at tills are knowledgeable and helpful.

We found out our tree just couldn't stand up and was just too knackered. so we rushed down to the range to grab one. We found one we liked but there was none in stock sadly. However we were saved by their excellent customer service by providing us with the one on display which shocked us as we didn't think you could have the ones on display but nonetheless we were extremely pleased and grateful. Thank you very much Range. Will definitely be returning again.

A one stop place where you find everything you need for your home. You will find a huge collection of wall decors, figurines, garden equipment, furniture and what not. Easily accessible, right infront of the Reading station.

I brought a new fish tank which was fantastic but the range of things to go in it has shrunk alot which was a shame. Also there garden range has disappeared so was unable to find food for my wildlife ie birds, squirrels etc

The guy at the till was friendly and funny which is always nice and it’s a big store with lots to choose from! I think there was an upstairs but was in a bit of a hurry so unfortunately didn’t get to trawl up and down the isles! I’ve been to a Range before that had a square layout and it’s a bit annoying, but this is our local one now and we’ve just bought a house so you can guarantee we’ll be returning! ☺️

Great place for browsing, full of things you didn't know you need but absolutely have to have. Sometimes it can be quite busy, and messy- items everywhere where they've been abandoned by customers and not cleared up yet or without a clear shelf label. Also never enough check out staff, but that's the case in many shops.

Range has everything. i mean everything from furniture, childrens toys, hardware, toilet seats, down to maca powder and large triangular toblerone. It does have a rather dated 70s/80s feel , but thats ok while you while away an hour or two on a wet Sunday afternoon.

I like this shop cause of good access to all of the items, always full stock, friendly staff with good knowledge about thier assortment. Easy access for disabled people on the wheelchair. You can get everything for your home, from the sheet of paper to garden fence. Highly recommended.

It's got everything i won't say my age but I was like a kid in a candy shop, I was only in there for 1 thing and came out with lot's more (which was needed). Loads of cool kitch items, alot of them are good quality items but a few are flimsy e.g. the bathroom cabinets I went in there looking for...tho came out with everything bar something for the bathroom! Just check the feel and quality of what your buying, alot of items were in there boxes so defo check before u buy! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great location and I've spent loads in there this year after buying my house. They sell the branded paint less than others. I returned a chair 6 weeks after buying it and there was no issue, you have to applause them for customer service

Brilliant service. Was sowing meadow mix seeds in the garden and ran out. Out of stock everywhere in Reading! Called The Range and they put their last 3 bags of stock behind the counter for me. Brilliant service and now a complete meadow has been sowed.

Every time I go to the Range I buy something or the other interesting. It has various House hold things, kitchen necessary things, stationary, photo frames and lot. And all with reasonable price. Staff is very helpful and return policies are easy. I would definitely recommend the store.

There were a lot of missing shelf edge labels so I didn't end up buying at least 8 items I might have bought if I knew the prices of them. Queue was quite long and the shop floor was piled with wrapped pallets. Not the best Range store I have visited unfortunately.

Good shop for all round of household products and garden materials. Located at very convenient place. Parking sometimes could be busy mainly coz the entrance to parking could be blocked. I would not recommend for swimming pool products which is poor quality for the price but good shop for household interior etc.

Like all stores of the Range there is lots here, I mean lots! Planning birthday parties, weddings etc you will find what you need and probably stuff you didn't as well. We needed jars for a sweetie cart we are putting together and this was ideal. There garden furniture is good as well as have used this in the past. Worth a visit.

my daughter visited a week ago and has a hearing impairment she can lip read only so well and its hard for her at the moment. when she went in she went to find scrapbooks and asked a young girl near the sweets if she could show her them. girl pointed in a direction and my daughter went to that direction and found another member of staff and asked. Lovely girl noticed she was deaf and removed her mask so my daughter can read and spoke to her in sign language. My daughter was pleased with her visit after this it made her feel really happy. Girl was young with glasses and short dark hair didnt get a name sadly. Very nice and my daughter found lots of things she needed

Good selection of things although the staff didn't know where to find some of them! Great for art supplies at a much more reasonable price than a certain shop down the road. They stock acrylic paints and canvases which we were looking for. Also have a selection of false flowers and wedding items.

I love the Range but sometimes the prices or deals online aren't available in the Reading store which is a bit frustrating! Come here for most of my arty bits and prices are really competitive with Hobby craft. I love their seasonal stock too, great selection and good value for money.

Decent selection of almost anything and at decent prices for an 'off the shelf' store! Staff were helpful - even when it came to finding the tills and way out. (Not sure if the same in other branches, but with so much stuff it was hard to get bearings and navigate, but no major shakes!)

Its well laid out, but the staff don't have a clue. Most are "kids", and the manager had no idea, exit doors locked, no keys. They open at 9am because " you can't expect people to get up too early for work". Wrong attitude, I get up at 05.30 latest, have done for 37yrs of my working life. Retail shops should be open from 06.00hrs to 22.00hrs, not the same hours 99% of people work because the young generation are "little darlings" who don't understand the phrase " work ethic"

Went to grab a few things, went to find the end of the queues to pay and it was literally at the other end of the shop.. their tilling systems are so slow and behind and only a handful of tills they should upgrade to at least some self serve tills. I put all the stuff down and left as I wasn't going to wait. Usually its not so bad but when its peak ties like Christmas and especially now Covid Lockdowns their should definitely be something!

I really love this place. Lots of great bargains for exceptionally good quality items. This is great place to buy low cost arts and crafting tools and materials. Upstairs they sell furniture for home and garden, toys, books, clothing and even lighting. There's also a little area to sit and have a drink and a bite to eat. It really beats hobby craft for value for money. I highly recommend it.

The variety and 'range' of this shop saves it in my opinion. The atmosphere of the shop was rather calm, even though it's a bank holiday. There was quite a few staff hovering around the store, and an appropriate amount of tills open. One thing that really let's this place down is the pricing issues. Something will say £2.99 and end up being like £5.99 at the till. If that was fixed, the shop would be 5* !

Good range of goods but possibly too much unnecessary Christmas plastic type stuff. Cafe staff excellent and good price and selection. Worst thing was the the santa at the top of the escalator. It frightened my granddaughter and other people said it was a bit spooky and was causing people to stop at the top of the escalator which was dangerous as you couldn't get off. Hope its been moved by now.

A huge shop full of household goodies and things for crafts all at very reasonable prices. If you need any help ask any of the assistants they are super helpful. The car park is free and shared by other large outlets on the site, it gets busy at peak times but you will find a place. Give them a try, have browse.

A great shop for just about anything you can think of. Need a birthday gift..plenty of ideas. Need something for the home again plenty of choice from kitchen ware to living and dining items and lighting too. There are toys and baby products and crafting/hobby items a plenty. Christmas is well covered too. Pets are not forgotten and a good selection of gardening items. The Range is on 2 levels with a flat escalator between the two floors for disabled access and pushchairs.

Sells everything you want for home and garden etc It's a lovely shop. But be very wary of parking. You'll soon end up with a ticket for the most minor offence (wheel on line etc) from the most aggressive parking warden you will ever meet !!! He takes no prisoners and takes great delight in telling you in no uncertain terms your getting the ticket come what may !!! Be aware

Huge store with a ton of stock. I guess you could say they have good range if you're that way inclined. I don't particularly agree with the size of Hamster cages they stock as they're a bit small but that's a wider problem than this one store which I happen to quite like.

This is a good store for odd bits I guess. When you need stuff for a particular season or occasion they will have a good range e.g. Christmas or Halloween decorations. The store layout is awkward with narrow isles in some areas and open spaces in others. The check out counters seem to be an afterthought and the parking lot is an absolute pain.

A great place for all the items you need throughout your home. Sadly this store is lacking in staff to assist you and many items don't have a price available for them, so expect a long wait at the till point.

Lack of choice in the cafe. As i cannot eat cheese, 97% of food items had cheese in them. Staff were unwilling to offer anything other than a sausage roll.

The quality of their products is always dubious. Sometimes it's better just to pay more and buy from places like Clas Ohlson. The shop itself from what I saw was manned by friendly staff and was cleaner than other Ranges I've been too.

Considerable amount of stock, at great prices. Make sure you allow a bit more time if you're not familiar with the store, because the layout is quite confusing and some of the non-shelf stacked items can get in your way if you're in a rush

The range, honest pricing but isn't stuck at the bottom/tacky end of things. It's z good place to aim for 'events' shopping, like Halloween & Christmas. For example, the LED light chsibs I found cheaper here than anywhere on the internet for the equivalent. People are weird about parking on the weekend. They queue for ages to get a spot near the store, causing queueing delays, despite spaces aplenty near the entrance (don't count the TGI-Friday only slots).

A proper little homewares Aladdin's Cave. Make sure you have plenty of time, as you'll spend way more of it than expected browsing everything from wall art to paint brushes (both decorating and art) to pet supplies, furniture, kitchen equipment, in fact the list is almost endless.
