Gave a free quote and useful advice which cured the fault with my shaver so I didn't need to use the repair service. Also said if I sent my razor he would find the fault and let give me a precise quote having seen the fault. Very fair of him seems a decent man. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Unbelievably quick service, Steve received the shaver on Tuesday, it was repaired that morning and sent back by special delivery the same day. Absolutely brilliant! Also he was lovely and friendly on the phone.
Excellent service. My old RQ1280 had died and I contacted Steve for a possible repair. Instead he offered a replacement body - RQ1260. A few days later he contacts me, and it arrived the next day! Really pleased with the service. If your worried about Steve, honestly don't worry :)
Fantastic service. I thought my philishave 5890 was beyond repair the shaver Shack came to the rescue and now it's as good as new. Excellent customer care very reasonable price, a lot of work done, worth every penny- thanks Steve a brilliant job. Great service, fast, personal and professional. Very knowledgable and does his best for the customer. If you have any issues with your shaver, rest assured Shaver Shack will resolve it asap at very reasonable cost. I thought my shaver battery was dead and decided to buy a new battery. Steve managed to resolve the issue by determining that the fault was from the Mains shaver socket on bathroom wall and not the battery. If I had listened to Steve in the first place, I would have saved my self £50!

Fantastic service. Have used Steve twice now, & both times had excellent service, first class repair at a very reasonable price. Emailed on Sunday, & got a phone call within an hour. Posted razor on Monday, Steve phoned on Tuesday to say he'd got the razor & the problem was was he thought and based his quote on. Paid via BACS & razor back on Wednesday. Will never use anyone else. 👏 👏 👏 👏
I made an enquiry about my (now sadly defunct) Remington MB 40 shaver and was told that honestly it probably wasn't worth the repair. I'd already tried a place in London and they said "£60 flat fee." And that was just to look at it! Steve was knowledgeable about a similar model for replacement and made me feel happy about using his service the next time I have a problem. My Braun rechargeable is quite old, but
keeps its charge well. Unfortunately, the beard trimmer failed but when I emailed, Steve called me back promptly and said he could repair it.
He certainly did and immediately returned it First Class.
He "only" takes cheques or I used BACS, but he is completely trustworthy and very helpful.

My old Philishave packed up - just stopped dead when I struck the shaving head area with my thumb.
Phoned this chap and he said to post it off for a quote for repair. This I did on Tues.
He phoned to say he had found the problem - I must have hit it harder than I thought and bent one of the cups which was enough to stop the rotors turning.
He fitted new parts and I received it back in the post on Friday!
Very fast personal service. Recommended.

When my Braun electric shaver wouldn't start until I gave it a gentle tap on my pillow and again the next day, when I gave it a good shake, I looked for somewhere to get it repaired. I sent a message on the website of the Shaver Shack on last Saturday morning. The same Saturday afternoon I was contacted by Steve Wemyss who advised me to check if it was still under guarantee and it would then be repaired by Braun. He also said the sometimes the Braun Series 9 let water in when washed or used for a wet shave and that could be the problem. Since Saturday I have used it every day with NO problem. But, I have not washed it.
Isn't it wonderful to find a business with an owner who takes time out on a weekend to call you, wait whilst you go and get your razor to find the number, give you help and advice and then, email you to say please contact him if needed. He could easily have asked me to send it and charge me for doing nothing.
My greatest thanks to wonderful man for all he did to get things right. If anyone has problems with an electric razor, GO TO SHAVER SHACK. THIS FIRM IS FANTASTIC AND DESERVES ALL THE PRAISE IT CAN GET.
Excellent — v helpful, efficient, and alert to giving best value. Did an amazing job — my 12-year old shaver works like new again. Great to see that repairing rather than replacing can still be by far the best option — I really hope more people think to do this.
Second time we have been to see Steve. Well worth taking your repairs to him tells you axactly what's wrong and gives you a fair price.
Steve did an excellent overhaul with new batteries on my beloved old Braun 8585 shaver. It now runs and holds charge like new.
Remington Razor was not charging, problem identified, replacement part shipped out, Razor is now charging. Excellent service
I was very pleased with the service from the Shaver Shack for repairing my Braun shaver so promptly.I posted it by recorded delivery on Friday afternoon and Steve from Shaver Shack phoned me on Saturday to say he had received it.He was very polite on the phone and he also sent me an email telling me how much the repair would cost.I got my shaver back repaired and in working order the following Tuesday.If you need your shaver repairing I would recommend giving the Shaver Shack a try.If I need to have my shaver repaired in the future I would definitely use them again.

Needed my Braun razor repairing. Simply filled out a form on their site and they called me later that day. They offered a no fix no fee, just had to package my shaver up and send it. Sent it off, as soon as it arrived they were on the phone to me, discussion options to repair (the shaver had a seal go, and damaged the PCB) and the costs. Had to wait for parts to arrive, and it was shipped back to me quickly.
Shaver now works as good as new and saved me a lot of money buying a new one.

An absolute first class service.
Phoned Steve at Razor Shack and explained issued with an old razor, and he said it could probably be repaired, just post it to him and if it could not be fixed, there was no charge. No brainer.
He was regularly in touch while he sourced parts and it was returned in just over a week.

Absolutely fantastic service. When you want to get your shaver fixed in good time before your beard goes out of control, this is the place to come. If your shaver is found to be easily repairable as mine fortunately was, you'll for sure get it back in good time before the beard goes crazy. It's a great help and indeed I had my shaver going wrong during lockdown in 2020 so this was most helpful service!
I have a Braun 5520 which in fairness is quite old but over the years I find it the most suitable one I have so when again the battery failed I contacted Braun's main service company to be informed that the parts were no longer available and they could not help me however they could give me guidance on buying a new one. On searching the internet I located SHAVER SHACK of Stoke on Trent who not only had parts available but carried out a service,, replaced the battery, foil, and cutter within a space of 10 days over the Christmas period they posted my shaver back to me first class post. Not only were they quick and efficient and very reasonable they kept me completely updated acknowledged postal receipt of the shaver they advised when service was completed and notified when it was posted. I rate them first class and would use them again.
