Extremely professional and highly trustworthy - We couldn't recommend Robert Gilmour Architects strongly enough. Our project was a full refurb and exterior extension of a seaside chalet bungalow. Robert exceeded all our expectations and made the whole process enjoyable and relatively stress free (an impossible task on a house renovation!) by managing all stages of the process from design and planning, tendering through to the build and snagging. Robert has a very hands-on, no-nonsense approach and listened carefully to our requirements and advised accordingly. We are left with a beautiful space that we enjoy immensely and that we look forward to going home to every evening. Huge thanks to Robert and the team at Robert Gilmour Architects.

Robert designed and project managed our double height extension in 2019 on a semi-detached house on Haypark Avenue off the Ormeau Road. From start to finish he listened to us, made all the right suggestions (taking into account our budget and family circumstances) and was able to persuade us to make the right decisions - even when we weren't sure. He took all the hassle and strain out of what would otherwise have been a very stressful 6 months. I can honestly say three years later that the work he has done on hour house (including the now famous curved landing!) has vastly improved the lives of our family.
