Mike and Will helped us undertake a whole-house major renovation in Brighton. The circumstances - we bought the house in Nov 2020 - were challenging especially as there were many lockdowns during renovation, and we didn't live in Brighton to oversee much. However, we were in safe hands. Mike and Will were involved at all stages from early designs through to the finishing touches. They had ideas that would never have occurred to us and now that we live here, the flow of the house house works really well. They helped sort problems (not their fault) along the way, in fact even a whole year on! Through lockdowns they adapted methods to work and communicate remotely and we met on site visits too. They are professional and good value. We would definitely recommend them, and use them again, though I hope we don't need to for a good long time yet!

Will Fisher of FAB Architects managed the project for our restaurant conversion and we could not have been happier with the outcome. He advised and acted as agent on all planning matters. He designed our commercial kitchen and oversaw the building and compliance with building regulations. He sourced and oversaw the implementation of a bespoke internal filtration system ensuring compliance with council guidelines. He advised on operational elements and sound dulling measures for the dining area. Throughout the project Will showed a commitment to delivering our vision to the highest standard, with excellent communication, and a keen understanding of our tight deadline. The project was completed to the highest specification and we found Will's manner in dealing with other people working on the team to be outstanding. He is a safe pair of hands and a pleasure to work with. We would recommend him without hesitation and look forward to working with FAB Architects again in the future.

Both Mike and Will are extremely professional and a joy to work with. They were clear and concise and explained things in great detail. They came up with some fantastic concepts for a house that was in East Sussex. Sadly due to personal reasons our concepts never came to fruition. It will be one of my regrets for a long time to come! What a great team these guys are! We were introduced to these guys by fellow restauranteurs in Brighton who were extremely happy with their unique creativity, and I must commend them. They are super professional and accomplished, and come with a modern but mature approach. Our restaurant was initially a small takeaway establishment, and with the use of 3D/4D projections and many more aesthetic aids, they helped design and implement what has now become a much larger, seated restaurant. They were involved from the project’s infancy all the way through to the polished conclusion, giving multiple options and creative opinions at each and every stage of the process. We worked with Mike and Will exclusively and they really complimented each other. They would fire thoughts to each other and involve us in the process so we were fully aware of their vision. At points, despite considering myself somewhat of a creative person, I have to admit I couldn’t imagine their vision, but I had full trust in them, and they delivered to a level above and beyond my expectations! Since we have opened our doors, everyone that knew the takeaway establishment that stood before has commented on the unbelievable transformation which is testament to FAB. I would recommend these guys without a second thought, and will be using these guys over any other more established architect for any, and all, future project. I expect big things from these guys, and feel privileged to have worked with them.

We worked with Will & Mike this year on our kitchen extension. Both Will & Mike came up with 3 beautiful concepts for us to consider which were delivered in a highly visual way allowing us to see exactly how the space would look. Prior to work commencing Mike was extremely helpful in getting us planning permission, working with thames water & guiding us in the preparation steps. The space is truly beautiful, our kitchen has changed from a small, dark and impractical space to a beautiful space that we cant wait to spend time in. Thank you both again for all your hard work.

Will and Mike’s practice FAB Architects designed the extension, garden office and ground floor renovation for our home ‘Green House.’ From our initial meeting, they were very attentive to our requirements. They were synchronised with our ambition for the design and drove it forward. Their professional services are of the highest standard using models, virtual reality and traditional drawings to ensure the design was to our exact specifications. They were supportive throughout the entire process and were always on hand to make recommendations and help with decisions on the aesthetics, the best materials and which suppliers to use. We recently worked alongside Fisher and Bell who were the architects on a residential property extension and refurbishment in Earlsfield. Working closely alongside Mike we quickly discovered that the ideas and drawings provided were exceptional. We have worked with numerous other architects on projects and Mike's knowledge and attention to the level of detail required were far greater than of previous projects with other architects. Mike was also extremely helpful to us on the construction side by offering quick and detailed solutions to problems which always arise on building sites, his ability to recommend quick resolutions helped us to complete the project for the client on time and on budget. We are bespoke furniture makers and FAB asked us to provide a quote from the drawings they provided. These were well thought out, clearly presented and we were able to accurately determine costs from them. Where additional details needed to be discussed, we found that FAB got back to us quickly, cooperated with our needs and were generally helpful and flexible. I also found that their designs displayed innovative solutions coupled with a simple, down to earth and practical approach. A good team to have on your side, nice guys too...

FAB have lived up to their acronym. We were looking to build a garden studio with specific needs - an office and a musical rehearsal space, as well as something that could be opened up in the summer as an outdoor living area. With limited floor space they produced a lovely concept design which kept the studio connected to the garden, and met our specific needs. They have produced the planning drawings for submission and we are in the process of obtaining planning permission, they’ve done an excellent job.

Practical, pragmatic architects with a keen eye for detail and the client's end-goal. I've worked with FAB on numerous projects as their structural engineer and they have a balance for achieveing beautiful spaces in sensible ways. I found that at each project turn, whether in design meetings or on site with the contractor, that they understood the construction ramifications of architectural design solutions, considered what is easy to build and implemented this in cost-effective ways. I'd recommend them for Residential or other archiectural endeavours as they are a practice willing to innovate, both aesthetically and spatially, but within realisable and elegant means without compromising the end goal!
