We worked with Neil to re design our home over a period of time. Neil's expertise was invaluable in delivering the end design and also liaising closely with the Planning process to ensure our design was accepted. Neil then went the extra mile in recommending a Brilliant Team of Trades to ensure we got the high end finish we were working towards. As this was the first time we had embarked on extending a property, we relied on recommendations and advice to support us through the process and achieve the desired result. Neil spent time talking us through the process we would undertake from concept to completion, he spent time understanding our requirements and had a good look round our house to get a better feel for a style that would suit and then created the architectural drawings to bring the design to life. Neil was pivotal in progressing the design through the planning process and helped us find a builder/trades through his network of trusted contacts. I would highly and strongly recommend Neil Cooke to anyone in search of a confident, professional, thorough and efficient architect. My property is of a Grade 2* status and was in need of substantial renovations and a creative flare, this involved incorporating modern and historical features and designs whilst accommodating officials needs such as local planning authorities and Historic England. We described to Neil exactly what we would like to achieve and Neil communicated profusely to ensure the drawings were exactly to suit our needs. Neil liaised continually with planning officials and took the time to justify our requirements and built a rapport with both us as his clients and all other parties involved, whether this be surveyors, engineers and tradesmen etc. On a personal level Neil is extremely helpful, friendly and approachable which has made the renovation process somewhat enjoyable. Everything I have asked, queried and or requested has been actioned, justified or even implemented promptly. My forever home and requirements seemed near on out of reach but Neil confidently helped us achieve planning permission and Listed Building Consents. One thing I did particularly like about Neil’s delivery of service was that he was able to recommend but never once was biased about particular tradesmen, I could put my recommendations forward and Neil would always work with them but if I ever became unstuck Neil was able to suggest numerous alternatives to ensure the project ran smoothly and efficiently. I would highly recommend Neil Cooke to anyone in search of a fantastic architect.

I worked with Neil closely on the design of our extension to our home. He asked all the right questions that I would expect, and those that I never thought of. Although it was a relatively simple design, Neil made suggestions for adding additional space while working within our budget. He suggested a builder who we also worked closely with ... And an amazing suggestion for a "secret door" access from the original patio doors which double up as storage. For someone who has never had to deal with architects before, Neil made the entire process extremely simple and pain-free. Would I recommend NCA? Absolutely yes. And if I ever need to use an architect again, I wouldn't consider anyone else.

Neil has been excellent during all stages of our build project which involved the full renovation of our 1930's house with the addition of a contempory extension. During the process Neil had alot of great ideas relating to materials, aesthetics and design. He worked extremely hard and researched specific areas to create plans with alot of detail for our trades to work from. Neil has many outstanding contacts to allow him and the building team to implement the plans to a very high standard. Without Neil and our builders who work closely on many projects we wouldn't have got such a good quality and unique home.

Late last year I enlisted the help of Neil to assist me in trying to get a plot of land I had bought through the planning process. As a builder I have worked with many other Architects in the past but although I had these contacts I knew that this challenging site would require someone with great vision and forward thinking........ Neil seemed to fit the bill and I was not disappointed! Neil was efficient, driven, professional and went above and beyond his duties, stoping at nothing throughout the whole 8 month long battle to get the application over the line.
