RISE Design Studio led our project to extend and renovate our home in Queen's Park, including a Side and Rear Extension, Garden Studio and Dormer Extension. We are thrilled with the result! We went through many layout options for the whole house and garden studio during the initial stages the Rise team worked with us tirelessly to end up with a layout we think works perfectly for our family; the project management was key to the projects success - and in truth the end result is amazing. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

In 2017 we appointed RISE Design Studio for a complete renovation of our home in Kensal Rise, including extending to the rear and a dormer in the attic. We met several architects but felt that RISE design would be the best at listening to our vision for the space. We found their service to be excellent. They helped us continually evolve the design to find the right solution for the layout and any problems that arose. Although we had done some renovations before this was our biggest project to date. It was therefore useful so have their experience in negotiating our tenders with the builders and administering the building contract. They also patiently helped us navigate the planning process, making amendments as required. There are lots of hoops to jump through when undertaking a project of this scale and we felt lucky to have had them as part of our team. We believe that collectively we were able to transform our old house into a home that works for us, has ecological concerns in mind and we love. Communication was key in transforming our brief into a reality. Sean and Natsuka were very capable throughout the various stages, with an open-minded and approachable working style. We worked with RISE to extend and renovate our home in Willesden Green, including a two storey Side and Rear Extension, Garden Studio and Dormer Extension. It was a great collaboration - the ideas and options RISE drew up were great, maximising space for our young growing family whilst also having a significant wow factor. We wanted something a bit different - to feel the value of architectural input, and we got that with our final design and build. RISE managed the process of our planning permission (via various planning applications for each section of the proposals) and also assisted with the tender process to find a suitable contractor - very helpful that our final builder and RISE had worked together countless times. Calm, experienced and thoughtful - we felt looked after, listened to (and challenged when necessary) by RISE. Most importantly we felt their communication was excellent from concept to completion and have had no hesitancy in recommending them to friends - a number of whom have gone on to engage them for their builds. In fact, when most people come over they ask for the architects number :) Thanks for a great family home RISE. I smile every time I come home and feel lucky to live here.

In March last year we appointed RISE Design Studio for extending and the complete internal refurb of our basement flat in Dalston, East London. We found their service excellent, helping us continually evolve the design to find the right solution for the layout as well as choice of materials. They also negotiated our tenders with the builders and administered the building contract, steering us through all the hoops to successfully completed project which completed transformed our flat! Communication was key in transforming our brief into a reality. Sean, James and Alejandro were very capable throughout the various stages, having great knowledge of every aspect always helping us see other perspectives. All in all our experience with RISE Design Studio was very positive and we are very happy with how our project turned out. We appointed RISE Design Studio for extending and the complete internal refurb of our mid-terrace property in Kensal Rise, London. Our brief was challenging as we had a tight and changeable budget and timescale to allow us to maximise our Client Brief. It was important that we found a team that was able to communicate effectively and find solutions for the architectural elements as well as interiors. Sean, James and Alejandro proved to be very capable in every respect, having great knowledge of every aspect of the project from initial options to completion of our project. RISE Design Studio was responsible for full architecture service from concept to submitting planning to tendering and finding the right contractor. And then finally the build, which involved many further design decisions due to our evolving budget. A really amazing addition to the architecture was their design of all our pendant lights on the Ground Floor. This was an aspect of the scheme we hadn't envisaged, but after not being able to find the right light fittings RISE offered to design some options, which then spiralled into designed them all! In summary and to emphasise the above, RISE Design Studio are a superb architecture and design practice that really engage with you on a personal level. They have an incredibly keen eye for design at all levels from the smallest detail. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

My experience with RISE Design Studio in London has been a great one. They've helped us turn a house into a home through their detailed designs and inspired approach. Our pokey two bedroom flat now feels like a palace in Harlesden. What's nice about them is their enthusiasm for every project big and small. We appointed Rise Design Studio for extending our mid-terrace property in Kensal Rise, London. They were employed on the project from conception to completion, responsible for the concept design, design development, project management and contract administration for the complete renovation and extension (side and roof) of our home. Our brief was challenging as we had a tight timescale to work to and a restricted budget to allow us to 'fit in' all our items on our Client Brief. It was important that we found a team that was able to communicate effectively and find proactive solutions. Sean and his team proved to be most capable in every respect, having sound knowledge about standard Architectural contract administration practices, detailing and problem solving. Rise Design Studio was responsible for submitting the planning application (both Householder and Certificate of Lawfulness), liaising with the planners, compiling and submitting the Tender package. Their problem solving in conjunction with the Contractor was invaluable and they displayed an intimate knowledge of the project. Sean from Rise Design Studio is highly talented, not just for design, but also in his manner with clients and his business discipline. The entire team are extremely diligent and willing to go the extra mile, they were friendly, honest and very patient throughout the creative process. I would highly recommend them to whoever wishes to engage a mature, level headed, extremely diligent and competent Architecture firm.

We commissioned Rise Design Studio for a complete fit-out of our new business home on Blandford Street, Carousel. The process was complex as the design had to comply with the Landlord's pretty stringent 'Tenant's Fit-Out Guide'. Our brief was very challenging as we only had a limited budget to achieve the maximum wow factor in order for our business to have the spaces we envisaged before leasing the building. We were extremely satisfied with the design process and outcome. We had a very detailed brief, which continuously evolved at each stage of the process as we were able to work closely with the architect which allowed us to come up with a very interesting proposal. Throughout the various stages we were able to see the design on 2D plans, elevations and sections as well as 3D perspective views, additionally they produced a series of scaled models which was a massive help for us to understand better how each element of the design would work. We were very impressed with the level of detail on the concept, developed design, technical and construction drawings and the thorough thinking behind it.
