We required a Structural Engineer for our new extension and Conservatory redesign project. Found, and finally selected, SNH-Designs from an Internet search. Humza Bashir contacted us and came over the same day to assess our requirements. We were under some time constraints but this was no trouble for him. In all our dealings he kept to his word and completed his report within the time scales promised. We found him a very flexible, knowledgeable and amiable gentleman. In these times of large corporates it was refreshing to deal with someone on a very friendly & personal level. We would highly recommend him and would call on his services again without a hint of hesitation.

We contacted SNH designs as we are looking to have an internal wall removed in our new house. Humza was great, he responded to our inital enquiry quickly, talked us through the process, came to do a home visit and got the drawings back to us promptly so that we could forward these on to our builder. Would highly recommend.

Humza, is what I would expect in an engineer. He is good at what he does, honest and forthright with your requests. Don't mistake his direct approach for not listening to your request as he does and will give you options for tackling a decision on what is required for your build. Will definitely use Humza again for stage 2 of our home refurbishment, (loft conversion). I highly recommend you give Humza a call. I like his direct approach as he does not beat around the bush about the cost. Other shady engineers- Take it from me stay away from those that want £900 to a thousand upfront before they even visit you. Money lost and lesson learned! Humza won't do that, he will meet with you first!

Can’t fault this lad Humza. Have a small building firm that does home extension & renovation. Arrived on site the day and time when he said he would (which can be rare in the building game). Very polite. I needed removal off a structural kitchen wall for the new extension. He took measurements and of he went with all the information he needed. Kept me up-to date throughout and gave me a date for the calculations which is needed for building control. Forwarded me all the calculations on the day he said he would. Will use from now on. 5*
