Couldn't recommend these guys more highly, they're not interested in trying to sell you a grand plan, but more interested in doing what's right by their client, even if like in my case that means not working with them. From my initial contact with James through to the production of the final drawings James has been fantastic. His ability to see a space and turn it into something special is amazing. We were initially astounded at the 3d model of our property they would enable us to see how the design would work with the rest of the house. However the best was yet to come... a virtual 'walk through' the design, using the VR headset enabled us to see sunlight entering in to the room and to appreciate the sheer scale, this is a fabulous USP that James has that you only ever see on the property shows on TV. Our situation has taken an unfortunate turn of events and we have not been able to follow through to completion, which is no bearing on James, if we ever need an architect in the future I would not go anywhere else.

A very professional and friendly service. James has been excellent at every step of our planning application. Right from the initial brief James showed a creative enthusiasm, helpfully suggesting alternatives and giving excellent guidance. The 3D model James uses gave us a real sense of how the project could look and helped understand the possibilities. With the skill James has with this tool, changes were made and agreed in the consultation. Faced with a very complicated planning application James liazed with the planning department, Environment agency and submitted a complex and thorough application that was successful on first submission. A very enjoyable experience working with James. We couldn't recommend more highly.

He was very patient-this extension was our dream and we wanted it to be perfect. James interpreted our ideas with innovation and passion. After watching Your Home Made Beautiful on BBC 2 using ing VR . I decided to locate an Architect local to me. I found James Brindley at Design Haus Architecture in West Bridgford. First thing he did was to get someone out to measure and draw everything in place to scale. Via zoom ( because of COVID) we designed what I was looking for, James draws and plans right in front of your eyes on the screen, taking a wall out etc. Then goes off to play and update. The best is yet to come visiting the office and going through the VR, It is truly amazing walking through my refurbished house, (virtually ) I got myself on the roof once, a quick panic pressed the remote down and I was soon back on the ground in the garden. The process makes you realise if all is as expected or an alteration needs making. We had regular zoom meeting that are all booked in. I have recommended James to my friends whom he is currently doing work for incorporating VR I would suggest VR to everyone. Well worth it . Thank you James

We were unsure how to get the most out of our ground floor and specifically the kitchen. We had too many small rooms, children to watch but we wanted more than a basic extension - we wanted to celebrate the building and the materials. We also had garden features we were seeking to retain. All in all a fairly challenging brief. James was so helpful and came at the project from an angle we hadn’t considered but absolutely loved. He listened to us and our likes/dislikes and then, in a short space of time, came back to us with clear, well conceived plans.
