Lyndon did a great job for us when we wanted to convert our loft and was patient and provided a lot of useful advice. He managed the whole planning process with minimal fuss and I had huge confidence in his ability from the first time we met. All drawings were produced swiftly and accurately and he also managed the relationships with building control and the technical side (i.e. Steels etc) on our behalf - the whole process from engagement to completion was painless and I don't know how often that can be said! Finally he recommended we use Coates Carpentry and Building to do the loft conversion - without doubt the best decision as those guys are brilliant! Thanks Lyndon

Our build was for a double garage conversion and first floor extension. Lyndon at LMDS helped us through the whole process of our build from design and obtain planning permission to selecting contractors and a structural engineer and checking in on progress as the build progressed. As well as providing an excellent design, we found him honest, flexible, attentive and reasonable. Our job was a double storey rear extension along with a loft conversion - and we are very happy we engaged Lyndon for the job. We had a fair idea of what we wanted and due to time constraints it was important to get through the planning permission process without any delays. We had contacted a couple of other architects but their turnaround time was longer. We then contacted Lyndon for an initial chat regarding our situation and he offered to progress things quickly. We found him to be very knowledgeable - specifically with our local planning body's criteria and timeframes. Upon instruction the whole planning process went smooth and we received the approval as quickly as possible. We then asked Lyndon to prepare the Building reg plans for us and he also put us in touch with a number of professionals - be it party wall surveryors, structural engineers, private building control or building contractors - we engaged most of them and they were all fantastic people. It made things easier as Lyndon liaised with them directly - so we didn't have to worry about it. We ended up selecting our own builders but asked Lyndon to be our trusted advisor thoughout the build process on a per visit fee basis - which proved to be invaluable as a check and challenge mechanism for the builders. All this at a very reasonable cost. Overall we are 100% happy with Lyndon's services he will be our 'go to' person for any future projects. Highly recommend!
