Amazing dedication shown by volunteers to bring Steam rail back to Aberdeen. Painstaking refurbishment of some vintage trains and a complete overhaul of the workshop and platform started. Keep up the great work. Thanks to Tamsin, Peter and Andrew for showing us around. Can't wait to see the finished product! The master plan looks amazing.

Its shut. Not answering the phone. No business hours online & when we got there the gate was padlocked. However, after contacting the company via Google reviews, at least they got in touch with us and offered to do a personalised viewing and experience of the railway. Top marks for the offer, however we had finished our holiday in that area and couldn't make it.

A trust opened and dedicated to renovating the turntable and railway shed at Ferryhill. Steam has returned to Aberdeen at long last with Tornado and the Union of South Africa. Open on train turning days (see Facebook page) and tours out side these times can be arranged by appointments. Next to the beautiful Duthie park there are lots of reasons to come and visit and reminisce of an age gone by.

Friendly volunteers and happy atmosphere. The future for this visitor attraction is looking really good. With all the hard work going on it will be a credit to Aberdeen.
