Just wanted to say a very big thank you for all your help today! Thank for coffee, for dry towels and for being there for me and my friend

It's great how people spend their time saving others without getting paid.

A water rescue service (SAR) in the UK. Established in 1824. A nonprofit organization and charity service. Steadfast people who are resistant 24 h to sea storms and frostiness. Devil's power of seas and oceans is not like a chocolate cake. The solid design of concrete pillars RNLI Barrow Lifeboat Station may confirm this sentence. I did my photo in July 2020.

The RNLI is a lifesaving voluntary organisation which saves the lives of hundreds if not thousands of people every year. This branch is no exception to this, the station is well kept and it often open to the public for people to look around and find out more about. I was lucky enough the see them launch their new class of vessel a while back when the skill and ability of the volunteers was showcases, a truly incredible organisation. The station used to have a shop which helps with fundraising but I'm not sure if it's still there. Thanks for all your work guys!

Providing a brilliant service in the Furness locality. Nice little museum and shop open occasionally. Have a great open day in June of each year where you can have a look behind the scenes.

Well worth the donation, nice jetty too, don't be silly though and play in this water, there are very strong currents here

Great view of Piel Island the pub and ruined castle. Visit the RNLI gift shop when it's open.

Wow. Wouldn't want to be caught up in the tide here. Hats off to the very brave people who work voluntarily on the lifeboat at Barrow.

The lifeboat is launched every two weeks on a Wednesday at half past six. Members of the public are welcome to watch from the gallery, which is located up the stairs to the right as you enter the boathouse.

(Translated) Certainly not a big sensation but quite impressive to see a lifeboat up close. It doesn't cost anything, there is an interesting information about missions, as well as a small shop. And don't forget, all of this is done on a voluntary basis or by donations.
