Scientology and Dianetics gave me a deep understanding about myself and made me much stronger and resilient as a person.
Knowledge is power they say, and it’s so true.
The staff at the Birmingham centre are so friendly and the location - with it’s beautiful grounds and lake are a perfect place to go and learn.

Really friendly place. A really nice bunch of volunteers doing great work. Staff always happy to have a chat and help as much as possible. They put on nice local evenings as well which I find really beneficial to the local area.

A gem in Moseley, Pitmaston House bought by the Church in 2013 and restored to the highest standard, hosting non political community events and providing for the spiritual well being of all its parishioners. All are welcome to take a tour to see for yourself. A true beacon of sanity in a crazy world.

I enjoy the books, but I'm not sure why a religion needed to be set up for what seems (after 10 books) to be exact abreactive therapy, mixed in with some misunderstood eastern yogic science on LRHs part. I have nothing against the organisation or how they decide to live their lives, but personally, for me, everything Scientology has to offer is only a tiny tool in my box, there are many things that work in life, I do believe Scientology to be one, however whilst it's a religion, and whilst the people who need this type of therapy cannot attend due to price, it's clearly a useless organisation, or an elitist one. And in my personal experience, the staff in the Birmingham organisation seem rather excited, fidgety, stressed, some mad sense of urgency.. this made me feel rather on edge, as I usually live my life in a very relaxed, calm and peaceful yet productive way. So with my own eyes and analysis, I can't really see the benefits of being 'clear' or above. However as mentioned before, as a basic form of abreactive therapy, it's fine, but that's honestly all it is.
With regards to the courses I did do, I have to admit, even tho they are basic, they are absolutely useless, I learned absolutely nothing, and found myself confused at some of the philosophies in the Course material, however looking again, I discovered I was confused because LRH had not understood the fundamentals of the human mind, you have to remember he's invented a whole new way that the body works, and constantly gets confused between cellular DNA memory, and past experience memory. The frustration is that in Scientology, if you're slightly more clued up than LRH was, and point out something that's clearly nonsense, they will look for a MU (misunderstood word), which was never the case, the case was that the concepts were ridiculous when tested against real science and actual evaluation of itself.
So again the abreactive therapy is fine, but LHRs philosophy of the reactive and analytical mind + cellular memory, it's just ridiculous, but there was also a time when we believed the earth was flat, so I'm sure he was trying to help at the time, but humanity has evolved with its knowledge, and unfortunately it's no longer a religion (belief in what can't be proven), and it's now nonsense (belief in what we know is untrue and proven so).
Life is short, each to their own, my advice is not to get too involved in a single philosophy in life, unless it's your own philosophy. 🙏 But definitely go, have a look, read the books, and see what you think for yourself, it's definitely worth it, to see people who live by this and watch how they function differently, to learn the history rewritten of a man well documented outside of Scientology with a very different story, honestly fascinating, entertaining, friendly staff, but yeah it is what it is, a bunch of people living by a floored philosophy from the 50s 🙏
Edit to add. Maybe I should start a religion too, if he did it and I'm intelectally and experientially above what he was. Js 🤷♂️ pulp fiction (Google reviews) make a penny a word, if you want to make real money you must start a religion. Asimov's joke at the table of drunk sci-fi writers.

I must say, it's a great looking building from outside and inside, but makes wonder how such a castle is being paid for? Nice customer service from a lady working there, showed their impressive exhibition and library. However, I would advise anyone interested in Scientology to do their own homework.

Went there with a friend who asked me to wait for him while he picked up some stuff, I went to take a look, I've gotta say it is a really beautiful place! Nice and caring people! Bought one book called Values and Integrity I read it few day's ago and I am impressed for all the great data in it! I will be starting the course next week and I leaneed they have courses for my nephew too on how to study! Can't wait to start!
Truly recommend to check it out!

What a beautiful new building! And all the staff I have met there are so warm, interested, dedicated and sincere in their desire to help others -- not just their members and parishioners but the whole community at large. This new building will help them to carry out their activities much more effectively and at a greatly increased order or magnitude.
I wish you all lots of success in your mission!!!
