I, like many other people, have found citizens advice very helpful. They quite often are able to look at problems from a different perspective, plus they often have a better understanding of the ins & outs of official bodies, where the average person has not. Impartiality is an important factor as well as empathy. Just this week I asked their advice, not only was everything well explained, I was given 4 methods of solving my problem, plus any follow up information if it should be necessary. I have a great respect for the work they do.

I have used their service on advice with benefits when my income dropped, which was helpful.
Then legal advice and help about debt. In this case, it was only partially good because they never contacted me to solve/help with the main issue, after I went to their office and got a bit help with some creditors.
The other time I needed advice about a parking fee my ex war reliable for but I got the bill.
In general, they are very helpful and they do their best, and I got good advice and they helped with most of my enquiries.
Everyone I have talked to was friendly and polite.
I highly recomment them.

I would highly recommend here to anyone with any issues, sometimes you may have to wait a while but this is understandable as they are extremely busy and volunteers so sometimes short staffed and they are not robots. I have been thrown around to lots of different organisations to get some support and guidance and all just kept diverting me didn't seem to want to help. I finally went to CAB and im soooo glad I did, they was fantastic, very helpful and supportive , also patient with me as I suffer from a few mental health issues. The staff deserve an award and the government should be investing in organisations like this, I don't know what I would of done without there support. WELL DONE TO ALL CAB STAFF KEEP UP YOUR FANTASTIC WORK YOU ARE ALL VERY APPRECIATED. Should I find myself in a hole again in life I will now not hesitate to contact CAB. Very helpful and professional service throughout . Thanks again and keep up your excellent services.

Very helpful, patient, self sacrifice people who worked there of all race. Feels not being left behind, sadly not many peopel working there so they can be under pressure to cope with too many people with their problems to sort out.

Only one person on the office and she is a very vulnerable person tried to help me from the entry an gave me a phone number.

Sometimes you get lucky and see an adviser that's experienced and helpful, but sometimes you see an adviser that still has their training wheels on, they mean well, but the road to hell is paved with good intentions and you might NEED an experienced person

I had a coordinator called Matthew he helped me find out the answers to a lot of my questions he also help me fill out forms it would quite long and because I have a bad memory he texted me every morning that we had an appointment on to remind me I also have dealings with the Quality Care Commission who I am waiting to hear from them if I don't hear from them soon I will call them back but the Citizens Advice Bureau a really good people they put everything into what you need if something goes wrong it will not be Citizens Advice Bureaus fault it allowed to be yours or third party

Helpful people, They're under too much pressure providing legal support and Advice to a massive amount of the public as they do what they can to help all the people who goes to them asking for legal advice and support on the same day.
