S. “. O.I've had my 30th party here and the venue's great. It has a car park, the prices behind the bar are some of the cheapest in the area and the Skittle Hall (the smaller of the two rooms, holding 150) was only £87 for the night (till 0000). You do have to pay a Safety deposit of £50 but you get that back the next morning if all goes well (which it did). Bar staff are friendly and the staff you book it with are friendly and try to help as much as they can. I would recommend if you're local looking for a venue

A. M.Great place to come for a drink, especially if you've got kids. Being a social club/community centre it was set up to cater for the families in or near Shire Way & young children up here having fun is a perfectly accepted part of bringing the community together (as long as they're supervised!).
Has a main bar for general use which has pool tables, juke box, games for kids & multiple TVs showing sport. There is a secondary bar & hall which are both available to hire at a good price.
Outside are bences, a stage area, two football goals & an ageing collection of climbing frames for the kids to play on, but money is currently being raised to replace the frames.
Another plus point is that it's much cheaper to drink here than most local pubs, the staff are great & the locals are friendly. When you walk in here for the first time people speak to you & engage you in conversation, unlike a lot of pubs which have their cliques. Honestly can't speak highly enough of the place.
Only thing to note is it's MEMBERS ONLY, although you can ask for a membership form to join for a small fee which ties you to set terms.
