D. O.Have been in the Home guard club on two occasions. My father had moved to Cardiff from Dublin and this club was his local. The first occasion was happy. My father loved bingo and eventually called the games where the locals especially loved his pronunciation of the number 3!!
Sadly, my second visit was last March when my Dad passed away. The club was the location of the wake. I can't praise the people of the club and his many friends highly enough. They gave him an amazing send off that warmed my heart at a very sad time.
Thank you to all at the Home guard. I hope to pop in for a pint next time I visit Cardiff.

Bar , Lounge & Concert Hall Snooker,darts in bar skittle alley, various live artists Friday Saturday and Sunday , bingo ,set nights, sky sports, Carling ,Guinness, Strongbow Worthington at the bar , promotions on shorts ,reasonable prices .

j.Brilliant for all functions , which can be let to members and other, great atomosphere and friendly people from the community and further. They have a oudoor sitting area, which is lovely in the summer days/nights. Disco, skittle alley avalible and snooker home teams play home and away. Genuine prices and great night's out. homeguard is family & child friendly. accessible for people with disabilities . Made to feel welcome and is well known in the community, they used to do days out on coaches with families many many years ago, shame it stopped. Highly recommended and taxis can be ordered to be there when leaving, car park also available.
