Went with my friend here for his "Le Rock" dance lessons night in Cardiff and it was a really lovely experience and evening. Watching everyone learning the steps being taught by the dance teachers and then doing it all as couples to some really good music was extremely relaxing and enjoyable! The bar in this social club had a good selection of ales, drinks and refreshments and the staff were friendly too. Prices were very reasonable and probably one of the cheapest pint of ale I've had in a long time. Wonderful evening and great experience too, thanks to all for making it so..

First time I've visited this club in Whitchurch and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. What a great live music gig venue, watching Paul Young no less. Staff were really friendly and you can't really fault the price of drinks in there. Will definitely be returning for more gigs looking at the regular big name acts this venue seems to attract. Definitely punching above it's weight.

Good venue. It's a Social club so there are some restrictions in house, but that did not detract from the enjoyment. Small bar area but plenty of staff. Good prices. Clean and we'll run.

I am a member of the Earl Haig Club and my wife and I attended a really great social event when we experienced Big Mac's Wholly Soul Band. The gig was sold out for 2 nights and it's easy to see why - the Band singers and musicians were fantastic snd the club ensured we all shared a truly special atmosphere.

Went there for my brother in law's wake, what a fantastic place , had been there before to see a drag artist but was not untill this evening that i realized what a venue could easily cater for at least 200 people staff are great really friendly, didn't have to wait to long at the bar either lol and they also do a lot of live gigs, soo if you've never been there i suggest you do,.

Ah, The Haig. Not to be confused with the principal judicial organ of the United Nations in the Netherlands, Whitchurch's hidden gem continues to go from strength to strength. Whether it's a quiet pint, your mam's favourite tribute band, or a raucous jam session you're after, all this and more can be found inside this quaint old house. Long may The Earl reign unspoilt by progress, an anachronistic time capsule in a gentrified north Cardiff suburb.
