For close to 18 years I have attended Durham Community Centre as a Instructor of Tai Chi on Monday mornings in Shakespeare Hall which now is being supported by Age UK. More recently I attend on Tuesday evenings to take a smaller private class for those who are unable to attend day classes. During my weekly visits I can confirm that I have always felt blessed with the realisation that this venue was just like my second home.

Community Association offering rooms and halls for private hire in central Durham opposite the bus station. There are a wide range of activities offered by groups including juggling, dancing quilting ,choir etc. Staff are very friendly and helpful

This is a great place to meet for lots of different activities. 6 of us meet on a Tuesday morning to do art together. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the prices are very good
