m. m. d. q.Coming from South Wales, I had a fantastic service and will be coming back soon, with an veteran member. Following all covid 19 procedures as well and a safe pub to be in, definitely would recommend this pub to anyone that in interested in a nice safe pub to drink with veterans or members of the public. The members and the people who go there are having a grate time and really nice to talk to as well. 10 out of 10 on everything.

Relaxed atmosphere, very reasonable priced drinks, food available at certain times.
A little Gem in the heart of Edinburgh
The staff and members will make you feel very welcome. You won't be a stranger for long. Very handy for Haymarket Station, and Murrayfield an easy 10 minute walk.
B.Great place to have a drink especially if you are a member of the armed forces or ex-services, just show them your ID and this gets you a discount at the bar. There is a Medium-sized hall with a bar upstairs, which can accommodate parties.

D. H.Very relaxed but well ordered club where I enjoyed meeting with former members of my unit for a chat and a drink in the lounge before lunch. The staff were very curious and efficient and the food was of good quality although it was not as hot as perhaps it should have been when it reached the table. Afterwards we returned to the lounge and contined our reminiscing of times gone bye in this very appropriate setting.

Always greeted with a warm welcome the Piping Competition was excellent with two very accomplished pipers.
The food and beer is very well priced which adds to the excellent atmosphere.
Certainly recommend the Scots Guard Club for a visit.
