A very happy day had by all.
Our residents at Retail Trust,( a sheltered housing complex at Newton Mearns) had a high old time.. A big thank you to Graham and Paul, who helped to make our day extra special.

This charity run canal ride has three boats but their in need of volunteers to man the third canal boat. So if you live in the area folks why not give them a call. Cracking day out, hope you like the photos as much as I had shooting them...

Can’t speak highly enough of this charity. Have been 3 times as driver for different groups and each time has been a good experience. The volunteers are friendly and patient. Several of members in my groups had restricted mobility or are wheelchair users and had no issues boarding the specially adapted boats. Pleasurable cruise up and down the canal with tea/coffee and biscuits after fish and chips ordered from local chippy and delivered to the boats.
