A. S.I visited the PCR covid testing here. It is a walk in center, no appointment necessary. The staff were very kind and professional. It was not overly busy. It has parking and is wheelchair accessible.

I have no other experience of this community centre otherwise, so I can not comment on any other services
J. F.Travelled to the centre, for a PCR Test. The staff and volunteers were ensuring everyone, were kept apart. Everything had been running smoothly, completed the test and had not been kept waiting
M. D. S.A great place to work. The staff are friendly, very helpful, clean and always happy to help. Providing the very best advice and completing the transitions at both ease and comfort. The Mandela Community Center is one of the best places in the Chapeltown area.
Additionally, due to an LFT testing positive, I had to go for a PCR as a Customer. Unfortunately, the rudeness of the Manager there - Tom - he was very short worded and offensive. Will not return for a PCR there again. Will opt for Temple Green.

a. S.Love this place, always lots on to do. My little boy and two step daughters enjoy basketball on a Tuesday evening, the coaches are great with the kid's. It's a family, friendly environment for many different ages 😁
L.Went to the Mandela Centre for a Covid test. I was the only person there for a test. It's a huge building, staffed to run tests in the area. It was conducted very efficiently, with the result delivered the following day.
But what a wasted resource....a huge, staffed building and just me being tested.
Why not transform it into a vaccination centre, organise vaccine supply and help develop resistance to the virus?
n. u.Ots neat and clean. Had indoor sports courts and outdoor ones. Open courts for basketball now in use with parking available

D. E.Very good and well managed facilities with both male and female changing rooms for a massive sports hall as well as this a dance studio. The sports hall is kept clean and has clear lines for football, badminton, basketball etc.
J.Quite a run down place. I remember exercising my post pregnancy tummy there 29 years ago and nothing has changed. Didn't know it had a lift untill today. Could do with being refurbished.
Great place to access lots of extra curricula activity here, (football, basketball, dance, etc), for the young and old. Also has a monthly African Market which I love.
Would be better to look at the Leeds City Council website for more details, as I'm sure they do loads more.
Staff here are lovely and informative too.
L. J.As a child, I used to train here with my team for athletics competitions. We trained there every Wednesday the space is great, we ended up being the best indoor athletics team in the whole of West Yorkshire.
Me and my family know this place well, we go here for various different reasons.
On Mondays my dad goes to play football in the massive hall.
On Wednesdays I went there to train for athletics in the massive hall.
In the holidays me and my cousin go to dance camp at RJC in one of their dance studios and it's been some of the best experiences of my life.
I've grown up around this amazing place. You could do anything in there whether it's basketball, netball, football, dance, athletics etc. Etc. Etc.
I totally recommend this place to anyone.

C.Went for covid test kit staff are plesent if you go for a kit you can only get em between 1pm and 8pm
